when i say ive been in a long process of Unlearning Tumblrism/Tumblr Ideology, it means i'm:
-not putting identity/someone's labels on such a high pedestal over their qualities as a whole human being
-not reflexively being anti american. not making everything political. no not everything is political actually
-not engaging in self-degrading talk
-acknowledging my own faults and working to change for the better, instead of just blaming society for everything
-acknowledging that things are hard but you still have to do them (goes hand in hand with ^ )
-being less critical over stuff that doesnt matter in general
-spending less time with fandom, more time with life
TRAs loveee to say that women getting boob jobs, laser hair removal, botox, filler, etc. and men getting gynecomastia surgery or hair transplants are all “gender affirming care” but every single one of those things is solely intended to help a person fit more neatly into gendered beauty standards and I just don’t understand how they don’t see that they’re fully telling on themselves. Like it’s one of the most blatant examples of their core belief that gender=superficial stereotypes and that their ideology is entirely based on reinforcing binary gender norms.
being a tradwife but a “not like other girls” girl at the same time is crazy levels of delusion
ive been trying for weeks to find the right way to say that, the way people my age (20s) nowadays, especially those who are very lefty in their ideology, speak about having children is fucked up
ultimately i think its just fucking rude and an overcorrection to the whole "women bear the children" part of living in society
honestly i can understand being scared of the biological parts of child bearing, i sure am, but acting like a spoiled brat and being all "i would never want to give up my freedom, i dont want a screaming pooping demon in my house, blah blah blah" its like ...its just a baby... its a little human. like you once were.
maybe yeah raising a child wouldnt fit in with your lifestyle.... but i sincerely doubt it, since these kinds of people dont do much with their lives it seems except be online and buy toys for themselves even though they're grown adults.... maybe yeah they shouldnt have kids then. just wish they would be less RUDE about it - and dont demonize women who do want kids!!!
Imagine telling disabled children they're born in the wrong body or born the wrong way. Imagine telling autistic children they're born wrong. You wouldn't. But gnc kids? Yes those kids are born in the wrong body, let's stunt their growth and mutilate their bodies before they've even reached adulthood or before their brains have had the chance to mature yet, just because they didn't like sexist stereotypes. It's like a punishment. Punishment for not falling in line and obeying the patriarchal gender roles. You either conform or go through the meatgrinder and conform to the other mold. I cannot view it as anything other than that, a punishment.
no one actually "transitions" into anything. you are still the same you. the only thing you can do is to mutilate your secondary (and even primary) sex characteristics and use synthetic hormones which ruin your health long term. this is extreme body modification, at best. it's genuinely laughable that anyone would still think that cosmetic surgeries and cutting off your tits or dick actually change who you are as a person. wake the fuck up. the time is now. the medical industry does not care about you. you are just a customer.
looking back on it, my enjoyment of m/m fan fiction kickstarted the whole thing. i think it’s a case for a lot of autistic women who feel kind of out place:
the “i’m so gay” phase, the tumblr ideology (bc it’s tied with fandom), the scared of men irl and just genuinely being weird about them, all while just actually being a normal straight girl
i just wonder what my life would be like if i never got sucked into tumblr 2010s world. if i never believed so strongly all those harmful beliefs tumblr perpetuated about gender, sexuality, anxiety, self love, etc. where would i be! who knows i might be married by now.
but oh well, we move on and are living fully now!

I feel so awful for all the young girls being forced into religion and forced to wear a hijab. imagine being born and being told your whole life that you must cover yourself, must hide your body, because your body is inherently sexual - you are inherently sexual and must be hidden just because you were born a girl.
Do you think that the trans movement is going to fail and backfire eventually? Also, do you think that it will lead to more homophobia on the general public's part?
yes and yes
it's already backfiring, public opinion is swinging the other way even independent of libsoftiktok-level psychos
the general public is unable to distinguish between the gay community and the trans community, which is something the trans movement leverages for their own legitimacy, so yeah the blowback is a rise in homophobia and misogyny
like the narrative from the trans movement is "we're the front line, the conservatives are gonna go after us and then they're gonna go after women and gay people" when in reality the conservatives don't see a meaningful difference between the groups
leading to stuff like this where legislation is explicitly and intentionally targeting married women and the trans take is "how can i make this about me"
like obviously this legislation is more concerned about controlling the votes of every woman married to a republican voter than a handful of hentai addicts but they're positioning themselves as the canary in the coal mine and everyone is getting sick of it
but of course they're never gonna have to answer for the damage they caused to feminist and gay rights activism because they'll just call everyone terfs and run away
fat people act like the healthcare system oppresses them, but the reality is that the rest of us are paying for their extra tests, extra diagnoses, extra problems as a result of their being obese or overweight.
lose some weight the lot of you, and maybe all our premiums will go down.
