fat people act like the healthcare system oppresses them, but the reality is that the rest of us are paying for their extra tests, extra diagnoses, extra problems as a result of their being obese or overweight.
lose some weight the lot of you, and maybe all our premiums will go down.
im still working on this pet theory, but i think its interesting that gender ideology has become so rigid at a time when extremely literal thinking is at an all time high
and what i mean by extremely literal thinking is how people cant seem to grasp nuance anymore. they can't grasp grey areas anymore, everyone thinks in black and white. despite all the "gender is a spectrum" "sexuality is a spectrum" stuff people cant seem to actually think that way. we're living in a time when people need to google "[film] ending explained", when people dont engage with complexity, when they dont actually engage in critical thinking.
so it's no wonder there's this whole movement that just reifies the sex and gender binary, even though people think it's doing the opposite.
this drives me crazy because that's literally not what feminism was about ... autonomy is part of it of course but that was a result of.. females being oppressed due to their sex.
"self determination" well unfortunately some things you just cant change. people on the left are like "you should accept this, this person cant change it" about everything EXCEPT gender, which is WILDDDD
it's always "listen to [identity group] voices!" until its detransitioners' voices.
they don't want to hear them, because their stories gaining mainstream traction would upend their whole movement.
like i understand it can get a little tricky to tell someone's sex when all your human interaction takes place in text-based conversations without pictures, but the rest of us go outside
dear trans people, you are in a death cult.
if you see a country enact sex-based definitions & protections for women and homosexuals, and your echo chamber begins repeating how you're gonna be hunted for sport in the streets — you are in a death cult.
if you see a country give a ruling that woman is a sex-based category, and your echo chamber begins preaching how you must donate immediately to "save trans women's lives" — you are in a death cult, one that cares for your money more than your wellbeing.
if that same country within that very ruling recognizes legal protections for trans people and recognizes their transness, and your echo chamber begins shrieking how this is equivalent to genocide — you are in a death cult, one that wants you afraid, believing unconditionally, and not thinking with your own head.
ok fine, whatever. those figurines from ancient history of "fat people" prove they existed. yet these posts dont account for people who are just bigger bodied (i would imagine the ancient humans had more muscle due to more physical labor), and those who were in the upper classes who had plenty to eat.
its just science that a human who is very active and barely eating enough to survive isnt gonna have a lot of body fat. and for most of human history it was all about survival.
so i just wonder just how many people fit into these people's definition of "fat" .
2. its also funny how these posts are SO dismissive of things that are VERY OBVIOUSLY NOT GOOD, like soda, sedentary lifestyles , and obesity. you simply cannot argue the science that those things are bad. but suddenly its Oh well there's always been fat people, so its fine!
even in the united states obesity has only increased over the last century. if it were a naturally occurring biological phenomenon, the rate would stay the same.
it's all part of the cope for their sedentary modern lifestyle. it's all part of the movement to make the obese an oppressed class. dont fall for it.

looking back on it, my enjoyment of m/m fan fiction kickstarted the whole thing. i think it’s a case for a lot of autistic women who feel kind of out place:
the “i’m so gay” phase, the tumblr ideology (bc it’s tied with fandom), the scared of men irl and just genuinely being weird about them, all while just actually being a normal straight girl
i just wonder what my life would be like if i never got sucked into tumblr 2010s world. if i never believed so strongly all those harmful beliefs tumblr perpetuated about gender, sexuality, anxiety, self love, etc. where would i be! who knows i might be married by now.
but oh well, we move on and are living fully now!
