I have the most vivid crack-semicrack idea about Tim Drake, but am having trouble putting it into words

so please bear with me for a second

[in a timeline where] Tim really loved Robin and Batman, but it wasn't in his goals to ever actually be Robin until, well... anyways, he's Robin now, but this isn't his end goal, not Tim's life plans so to speak. Tim wouldn't be able to give up fighting crime ever, probably, but he doesn't want to be Robin forever. Not only that but B and Dick are acting a little more off than usual and there's this new guy, Red Hood on the streets.

Oh my God, that's Jason Todd, I thought he was dead. What do you mean he is coming to the Titans Tower, the place I currently am. Well, that's fine...

Cue Jason breaking in to beat up Tim only for Tim to whip around and start with a, "Oh neat, you're finally here, took you long enough," dropping a briefcase of events detailing Bruce's timeline after Jason's death, another briefcase of information on any current cases Tim thinks Jason can deal with, then just going, "Awesome to finally meet you and all that, awesome that your alive, I'm going on vacation, catch you later."

This leaves behind a very confused Red Hood and Bruce and Dick don't hear from Tim for 3 weeks, sending them into some kinda panic while Tim's having the time of his life on a beach somewhere

tumblr saw the type of shit I write and figured you all needed to know that

This was a discussion I had with my professor, he got really worked up over it (by he I mean we, cause we both did). Just one word answer don't answer the question and I don't want to have to ask more questions and then have you get annoyed so then I think you're mad at me and continue to ask more questions to make sure I have full permission and then get you more annoyed then be mad at me. Or worse I go silent so I don't make you more mad at me (even tho you might not have been mad at me) and now YOU think I'm mad at you, (like I swear I'm not- I just don't want you to be) and then maybe get mad that I mad (even though I'm not mad, but you think I'm mad so now you are mad). So please can no mean no I don't want you to do said thing, and yes mean yes you can do said thing? OR vice versa! But just like can we all have a meeting and agree on which means what so people don't get mad at me?

I hate that if you say "do you mind if I ___" people say no to mean like "yes I mind, don't do it but that should be yes?? And people say yes to mean "yes you can do it" but also yes to mean "yes I mind, don't do it". But people also say no to mean "no, go ahead" which should be the standard but I feel like any time someone says "do you mind" I get the answer wrong and I literally don't know what to say

Like people just use 1 word answers and then act condescending when I ask what they mean but I know what yes/no means I just didn't know which of all the yesses or nos you meant. And I can't tell from tone because nearly all the time people say it, it's usually just kinda apathetic? Or they try to be "yeah idk" about it but like I don't know what you mean???

Headcanon that Batburger was sued when they added the Red Robin Meal to their menu.

In court it lead to the arguement that it was clearly not a violation of trademark since it was obviously named after the Gotham Vigilante, whose name was registered on several team roasters.

This leads to a massive lawsuit against Red Robin and any teams he’s on. Except it’s almost impossible to serve him papers.

Tim doesn’t find out until he’s dropping off Two Face at Arkham- where he’s served papers while waiting to get Harvey re-admitted.

He ends up taking Harvey’s legal advice. He wins the suit (After Two Face breaks out, specifically to represent him. The Red Robin Lawyers argue against this, but the judge simply says “what did you expect when you sued a vigilante?”), and when news gets out he changed his name to Drake a year later, Harvey breaks out just to threaten him if he doesn’t change it back.

Halp tumblr, I thought I saved a fic and I didn’t

If anyone knows the fic, heres what I recall:

It’s a Tim joins the batfam early fic on ao3; the premise is that jack wants Tim to have more masculine interests so he tries to get Tim into cars, which works to well, and he becomes a little speed demon. He does the normal bat stalking he’s known for, deduces the code to unlock the Batmobile, and rescues Bruce dick and Jason from the joker by basically street racing the Batmobile into him
