Genshin boys x Disneyland

Synopsis: A day at Disneyland Paris with the characters of genshin impact.

Style: Headcanons, Female reader, cute, fluffy, date night, Disneyland Paris park, romantic relationship, modern life.

Alert: Very very slight NSFW mention for some, nothing shocking.

Characters: Diluc, Zhongli, Kaeya, Xiao, Venti, Albedo, Childe, Razor, Scaramouche, Dainsleif, Aether, Thoma.

Note: I went to Disneyland Paris yesterday. Don't ask me why I'm doing this... I'm inspired by Disneyland Paris, because I've never done the other parks in the rest of the world. I was going to do Xingqiu, Xangyun and Bennett, but I can't take it anymore!

Diluc

Attraction: He is not the type to like amusement parks... If there was one attraction he would enjoy, it would be the Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing. However, he still enjoyed the evening parade only because he could hold you close to him while you fidgeted to the music.

Off the rides: This is one of the few times you'll see him tie his hair in a bun. In the park, Diluc is very calm, he doesn't run around like you do and just follows your lead. Throughout the day, he will hold your hand in his and gallantly carry your bag. He'll let you store to your heart's content and he'll even allow you to put a headband in his hair so that you can take a picture of the two of you, only condition, you don't post it on social networks. (He thinks he is ridiculous with his Mickey ears, yet he is so cute!). He suggests that you go to Disney Village to rest and have a coffee. Diluc will hold you lovingly in his arms, your head resting on his chest and his hand in your hair, he will let you sleep a little if you are tired. As far as food is concerned, he will not go to a fast food restaurant. He will reserve the best table at Walt's - an American restaurant. You deserve the best.

In line: Even though Diluc is not comfortable with public displays of affection, he will let you rest your head on his chest while he puts his chin on the top of your head and his lips meet it. He'll cuddle you discreetly by burying his hands under your coat. If it's cold, he'll put your hand in the pocket of his long coat, share one of his gloves with you and keep you close to him for warmth.

Conclusion: Clearly, Diluc is not a fan of amusement parks. It's not that he doesn't like it, it's just not his thing. He'll go wherever you want to go, as long as it makes you happy and he knows you're happy, he'll obediently follow you and do all the attractions you want to do (yes, even it's a small world). Beware, this boy is deceitful. He will buy you anything that makes your eyes shine with envy! (stuffed animals, mugs, headbands...).

Since you wanted to go to Disneyland so badly, Diluc decided to give you an extra gift by booking a room at Disney's Hotel New York (and since you had so much fun in the park, Diluc will have fun in bed with you).

Zhongli

Attraction: Like Diluc, Zhongli has no favorite attraction. He's willing to do anything you want without complaint, ranging from Space Mountain to Ratatouille. But his favorite thing to do is to watch the craftsmen working on the creation of crystal figurines in the stores. He also finds the stained glass windows in the castle beautiful.

Outside the rides: Zhongli would follow you anywhere. He would stand by your side, always with that natural elegance he exudes. He draws eyes to himself, but don't be jealous, he only has eyes for you. He willingly lets you wrap your arm around him. In stores, Zhongli is more open than Diluc. He will allow you to try on accessories with undisguised amusement, as well as clothes, such as scarves or jackets. Zhongli is not very tech-savvy and will let you take as many pictures as you want with your smartphone and you can even post them on your instagram account. However, he will be in total agreement with Diluc: No Fast Food! He will take you to a fancy restaurant (if he thought to make a reservation before) or to this Italian restaurant in Disney Village. A short tea break during the day.

In line: Zhongli keeps you close to him, his hand on your hip while you discuss everything. Kiss your forehead from time to time. If it's cold, Zhongli will share his long scarf with you and as soon as the queue stops moving, he will take you in his arms to warm you up.

Conclusion: You both had a great day. Zhongli is pretty open about everything, and he'll go try out all the attractions with you before telling you what he liked and didn't like. At the end of the day, you give him a small crystal statuette of the castle. He'll be so happy with your gift that it was worth spending a little more than he expected today. He'll know how to thank you properly when you're both home alone...

Kaeya

Attraction: Pirates of the carabean! He loved the attraction so much that he will ask you to do it again and again until you tell him to stop. Will sing the song all day until he hears the It's a small world song...

Off the rides: He will either hold your hand tightly while you are walking or he will hold your waist and hold you close. As soon as you take a break on a bench or lean against a wall, he will take the opportunity to claim your lips with passion. Kaeya loved Pirates of the Carabean so much, he'll buy an eye patch and a pirate hat for you both in the store just outside the ride. You'll go take pictures at Captain Hook's boat. May you rest in peace if you meet Captain Hook in the park! Kaeya is definitely the one to sing Disney songs with you, he loves Hakuna Matata. You don't know which of you is more childish, him and his pirate hat or you and your stuffed animals? He'll take you to eat at Captain Jack's, the pirate restaurant he spotted in the attraction.

In line: Kaeya is very tactile, he won't mind hugging and kissing you openly in front of others. Moreover, he is very talkative, so you will not see the time passing with him. Kaeya can handle the cold very well and he will lend you his coat to warm you up, but as soon as he can, he will take you in his arms to share his warmth with you.

Conclusion: The day was very fun with Kaeya. You had a lot of laughs and prayed a lot of pictures on your phones, even if Kaeya often embarrassed you with his pirate costume and his songs. He is ready to come back with you as many times as you want! Kaeya will give you a couple of mugs featuring Lady and the Tramp.

Xiao

Attraction: He doesn't like anything... He is just there to please you... (and because you insisted so much that he was forced to give in).

Will still ask you to go back to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror... Falling into the void is quite exhilarating and feeling stuck to it is even more so.

Outside of the rides: Xiao is silent and cold during most of the day. He lets you hold his arm and stick to him (you know he loves it even if he doesn't tell you). When you're in the stores, Xiao will prefer to wait for you outside. He knows that you'll make him try on embarrassing things if he goes with you. If you look closely, you will see a little smile forming on his lips when you look at the store windows with stars in your eyes. When it comes to food, he would prefer you to bring back something you cooked yourself. Xiao is quite picky about food, he only likes your dishes.

In line: Again, he would be quite quiet and probably engrossed in his phone. He will hold your hand and absentmindedly caress your skin with his thumb. You will obviously have his full attention if you start a discussion with him. If you are cold, Xiao will wrap his scarf around your neck and put his cap on your head. Like Diluc, your hand will be in his pocket with his.

Conclusion: Despite the fact that Xiao seemed grumpy most of the day, he actually had a good time with you. He got to see your happy smile and that's what matters most to him. Xiao would be willing to go through the Disneyland ordeal again just to see your radiant face again. Go back to Disneyland at Christmas, you'll see the magic in his eyes. At the end of the day, you give him a Mickey and Minnie key chain that splits in two (you keep Minnie's and he takes Mickey's).

Venti

Attraction: Wow, there are so many that he liked that it would be hard for him to choose. Maybe Mad Hatter's Tea Cups is the one where he had the best time with you. You were spinning the cups so fast, you couldn't stand on your feet when you came out.

Outside the rides: Venti runs around with you. He holds your hand in his, takes pictures wherever there are Halloween decorations and posts them on social media. When he sees actors in costume, he'll insist that you take a picture with them. He has a soft spot for Chip and Dale. He will let you take a break on one of the benches that are all over the park while he goes to get you a pancake and a hot chocolate. He will store with you and marvel at all the stuffed animals! Literally falls in love with the Disney mascot plush collection. For food, Venti is not picky. BUT, there is this bar restaurant in Disney Village that also serves alcohol, so he will take you there to eat.

In line: Venti is very talkative and laughing, you don't get bored with him. He likes to take selfies with you. He always keeps your hand in his, and when the queue stays a while without moving, he will hug you from behind and kiss your neck. It's also a great way for him to warm you up when you're cold.

Conclusion: Venti has made you run around so much that at the end of the day, you are completely out of shape. Nevertheless, you had a great time with him and to make up for it, he'll let you sleep on his shoulder once in transportation. Look tenderly at the keychain that contains a picture of you two that he bought at the exit of Flying Carpets Overs Agrabah.

Albedo

Attraction: Albedo found Lancelot's Carousel very enjoyable and relaxing. He prefers the quiet rides to the loud or thrilling ones. Plus, he was able to hold your hand tenderly throughout the ride. He couldn't resist taking a picture of you on your horse.

Outside of the rides: Very calm and composed, he will let you lead him around the park while holding your hand. You offer him to take pictures near the Halloween decorations or a simple romantic selfie. Albedo can't help but smile when you jump up and down and see one of your favorite characters walking around the park. He suggests you go up to him and have your picture taken. When you take him shopping, he'll be particularly interested in notepads and sketchbooks, especially Halloween-themed ones. He'll buy you a Lion King headband, he thinks you look really cute with that accessory. You stop from time to time on a bench to rest, Albedo takes the opportunity to draw you. For the food, it is him who cooked everything. The food has been carefully stored in bento boxes. He will suggest you to go to the Chalet de la Marionnette to warm them up and eat there.

In line: Albedo always brings a book with him, and today is no exception. He will take advantage of the wait to continue his reading and will even offer you to read with him. Your arms will be intertwined with each other while your head is resting on his shoulder and your eyes are focused on reading. If it's cold, Albedo will pull a hand warmer he had planned from his bag and put it in his pocket with your hand. He will kiss the tips of your ears reddened by the cold.

Conclusion: A sweet and invigorating day. Appointments with Albedo are always exquisite and relaxing experiences. To thank him for the day, you bought him the notebook he was ogling earlier (the cover features Disney villains like the Evil Queen, Ursula and Maleficent). The smile he gives you in return and so adorable, you want to immortalize this day with a selfie, you with your lion ears and him, his new notebook.

Kazuha

Attraction: Kazuha found the Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop attraction to be very fun. He enjoys the view once the parachutes reach the top of the attraction and when they come down, he grabs your hand and laughs.

Off the rides: Always smiling and warm, he'll hold your hand all the time with your fingers intertwined together. He loves watching parades and shows with you. It's a really relaxing activity that also allows him to cuddle you quietly. He'll have fun with you discovering the little secrets scattered around the park, like those famous Mickey's hidden all over Disneyland. When you both take a break, Kazuha will make you sit on his lap. He will put his head on your shoulder while you will lean on his. He will let you store quietly, Kazuha is not materialistic, so he is not interested in unnecessary purchases. However, he likes to see the wonder in your eyes when an object fascinates you, like this pin with the effigy of Bambi. For your meal, Kazuha will have prepared a Japanese bento. He likes simple and healthy food. He will even have provided an isothermal bottle with matcha tea inside.

In line: Kazuha will watch with you that Japanese anime you both like. He will offer you to hold your smartphone so you don't tire your arm while his other hand will be on your lower back. If you are freezing because of the wind, Kazuha will wrap you in his coat as soon as he can and blow warm air on your hands.

Conclusion: Even if you couldn't do a lot of attractions because of the crowd, you still found the day very fun, especially this part of the secret hunt! Kazuha had to finish his day with his hair loose, the wind having completely destroyed his hairstyle. You're not complaining, you've always found it cute like this.

Childe/Ajax

Attraction: Buzz Lightyeart Laser Blast is probably the best attraction for Ajax! He loves a challenge and competition and will do anything to get a better score than you!

Outside of the rides: Ajax will suggest a walk around the park to relax after an already emotional morning. He will take you to the restaurant of the hotel he has booked, the Yacht Club, to have a meal together. Like Kaeya, Ajax is very physical, so he will be glued to you all the time. His hand will never let go of yours and when he does, it's only to carry you on his shoulders and hear you laugh. He will protect you from the crowd by using his body as a shield. He offers you to go shopping and he literally falls in love with these tiaras made of real gems. Discreetly, he will buy one to give it to you later! If you want to rest, he'll suggest that you go back to Disney's Newport Bay Club Hotel for a short nap or just to massage your legs. Ajax loves to take pictures with you, his large size and long arms are perfect for couple selfies! He will want to watch the fireworks with you in his arms.

In line: He keeps you close and will threaten anyone who shoves you with a glare. He likes to look at the pictures you took together. Like Zhongli, Ajax wears long scarves that he will share with you in case of cold. He will cover you with his arms and he will shower you with kisses to warm you up.

Conclusion: You've both had a great time during your stay at Disneyland, and you know it's not over, because Ajax has booked the hotel for three nights! You end the day feeling completely exhausted, and when Ajax gives you the tiara he bought earlier in the day, your once-tired eyes begin to glow with wonder. Ajax hopes you still have enough energy to continue the evening in your hotel room...

Razor

Attraction: Razor doesn't like crowds or loud noises, so he really enjoyed The Robinsons' Cabin for its calm and natural atmosphere.

Off the rides: Razor is a bit of a dreamer and a hardy boy, he can walk for a long time without getting tired. But when he sees the fatigue on your face, he will take your hand in his and take you to the Discovery Arcade to rest. He likes the old-fashioned atmosphere of the place as well as the calmness that reigns there. On top of that, it's warm, so you can get some color back into your cheeks. He will fetch you a coffee, a tea or a hot chocolate according to your desires. His head will rest on your thighs while you sip your drink. When you walk down the avenues of Disneyland, Razor will just walk beside you. If you want to hold his hand, take it directly, he will do so obediently, you can even feel a slight pressure from his hand. When it comes to food, Razor is not picky. He loves meat and will be very happy with a hamburger and fries!

In line: Again, if you want to hold his hand, take it yourself, he doesn't have that automatic response (although he loves to feel your touch). Once he holds your hand, he won't let go until you enter the attraction. Occasionally you may kiss his knuckles to get his attention. He hates to see you cold, so he will pass you his gloves and keep you against him, his coat wide open to take refuge inside and warm you up.

Conclusion: A calm and relaxed day. You gave Razor a Halloween-themed Mickey ears headband, and you were happy to see that he kept it on all day. He promises you that you'll both come back and enjoy the Christmas decorations!

Scaramouche

Attraction: The word "adored" is not strong enough to demonstrate how he felt in Phamtom Manor. It wasn't even the attraction itself that he loved, but rather the fact that you stuck to him the whole way with a pleading, terrified face. He'll even go so far as to scare you a little more by blindly touching you here and there.

Outside of the rides: Scaramouche hates the crowd, or rather, he hates people! As a result, you'll find yourself with a grumpy little friend by your side. Take his hand, stroke it and he'll relax right away. Like Diluc, Scaramouche will have reserved a table at Walt's - an American restaurant. There is no way he will eat in a fast food restaurant. You will be shocked to see that there is absolutely nobody in the restaurant. It's not surprising really, since Scaramouche has reserved the whole restaurant in his name so he doesn't have to put up with all the idiots in the park any longer. He will reluctantly agree to accompany you in the stores, just to check that no man takes advantage of his absence to hit on you. When he comes across the Disney villain pins, he can't help but buy them, he especially loves the Maleficent ones. He is a possessive man, so don't be surprised to feel his hand on you wherever you are.

In line: You've found a simple and effective way to keep him calm, you stroke his hair and face tenderly to keep him focused on you. Since you're so gentle with him, he'll do the same by taking your hand to kiss it. You won't get cold with the heavy coat he bought you! But he will still keep you close to him under the pretext of keeping you a little warmer.

Conclusion: Even if he has been in a bad mood all day, you are still glad you went out with him. Contrary to Childe or Diluc, it is out of question that he stays longer in this park, if he came here, it is only to please you!

Dainsleif

Attraction: He had a good time in Alice's curious labyrinth. He couldn't help but get into your game of hide and seek, after all, the maze lends itself well to that.

Outside of the rides: Dainsleif is a lot like Diluc except for a few details, he's not shy about showing his affection for you in public. Expect tender gestures often, like a kiss on the lips or his hand caressing your loins. The aura around Dains calms and soothes you, which is why you'll fall asleep quickly when he suggests you rest on a bench with your head on his shoulder. He will caress your thighs and hands while you sleep. He will go shopping with you, but will not buy anything. He's not interested in the Disney world, he's only there because you asked him to be. Like many of the boys here, he doesn't like fast food, so he'll have prepared a meal the night before that you'll heat up in a microwave. Dainsleif stubbornly thinks that he is not photogenic, so he refuses to be photographed, but he will be happy to immortalize you wherever you want.

In line: His hand lazily caresses your waist while he looks at the scenery of the attraction or simply his phone. Occasionally, he'll lean over to you to remove a strand of hair from your face before kissing you. He talks to you a lot. He is very educated and cultured, so you can talk about anything with him. Dainsleif keeps you so close to him that it is difficult for you to feel the sting of cold.

Conclusion: You spend a pleasant day in his company. When it's all over, he'll suggest you go rest in the car before driving home. A little cuddle inside, he will ask you if you had a good day. If you tell him yes, he'll be very happy, after all, your happiness is his.

Aether

Attraction: Oh my God, he loved Space Mountain so much! He'll ask you if you feel like taking another ride with him. If so, he'll be so happy, he'll do anything you want after that.

Besides the rides: Aether is such a sweet and endearing boy. His hand is always hanging on yours. As soon as he sees something interesting, like a character you like or a prop you might like, he calls your name, pointing to what he found before he hurriedly pulls you towards the source of his interest. He'll suggest you go to Casey's Corner for a hot dog. When he sees that you're getting tired, Aether will suggest that you head to Disney Village to go to Starbuck's. He'll have you sit in a vacant chair and then go order your drinks. He will take the opportunity to have a donut with your mocha and his tea. He keeps you close to him to support your head. If you fall asleep, he will occupy his time looking at the pictures he took during the day. He will even put one of you in the background. Aether will be very cuddly and affectionate with you. He loves to store, is a Disney fan and is happy to have someone around who loves it as much as he does.

In line: He will let you play with his hair, he loves to feel your hands in it. To pass the time, he'll put on a playlist of Disney songs for you to sing together. If you're cold, Aether will take your hands in his to warm them with the warm breath of his throat.

Conclusion: You both had a great time. Aether is so glad he got to go on this outing with you! He will buy some souvenirs, specifically keychains. He'll pick up a couple keychains for the two of you with Stitch and Angel, and he'll pick up another one for his twin sister.

Thoma

Attraction: He loved doing Peter Pan's Flight. The attraction is so good! Especially the part where you fly over the city of London. He will sing "following the leader" as you exit the ride.

Outside of the rides: Thoma is very loving and engaging. He will always look out for your well-being and keep an eye on you so you don't get lost. He will hold your hand if there are people in the park. While you're on your way to a new attraction, Thoma will listen to you tell stories about Disney or sing the words to the songs that are playing over the speakers. From time to time, he will bring your hand to his lips to kiss it. If you are tired, he will take you to a warm place to rest, like Discovery Arcade. He'll look for a free bench to sit on and then go order coffee and tea for you and him. His hand will be on your hips to pull you closer to him while you sip your drink. He will cover your face with kisses, both to tease you, but also because he needs your touch. For lunch, he has prepared some Onigiris for you with a different flavor in each. Thoma will be happy to buy you a piece of jewelry from Harrington's Fine China & Porcelains. He will take a necklace with a key-shaped locket.

In line: He always keeps you close, his hand on your hips and in your pants pocket. He loves this closeness and always takes advantage of it to steal a kiss. His presence is so warm and comforting that you don't feel the biting cold of autumn on your skin.

Conclusion: He will suggest, before leaving, to watch the fireworks. The day was beautiful, you are so happy that you could spend it with him. He has spoiled you with his sweetness and kindness. Even if you are exhausted, you won't be able to resist laying him down on the bed when you get home.

NOTES. It is mostly not noted if it’s modern or in-game setting. Also, this idea is quite difficult to write, not gonna lie. It took awhile for me to finish but I hope you liked it and I did justice to the idea hahaha. Let me know what your thoughts are on this one okok? ZHONGLI’s life far exceeds humans or probably any other kind, that he knew and was aware of. Each life comes to an end, but fate decides that he, amongst others, was one who shall be “blessed” with years more than he could imagine. The days had been long and the nights were not too far away, yet he persisted. With time in his hands, he knew he needed something to do, to distract himself and to merge into the society of humans.

“Good morning, would you like to avail Wangsheng Funeral Parlor’s new promo?” that voice, oh, of course, he knew, he just knew. Tone like a melody heard from the mountain tops and by the rivers, where he’d want to stop and drink tea with the peace overcoming him.

You—he knew it was you and he confirmed it when he turns around and sees your eyes, your face—it really was you.

Memories come flashing in like it was just yesterday, but he held his face—still calm despite the turmoil on the inside. He was taken aback, but no one can notice it, not even you.

“The Wangsheng Funeral Parlor,” he repeats, clearing his throat, “I heard they are trying to hire a consultant, is the job still vacant, perhaps?”

XIAO, the sole-surviving yaksha, had seen many things, defeated many demons or enemies anyone else could count, even himself. Yet one thing he dare not want to witness again was what happened to you. Of course, he knew love—knew it like the back of his hand, but now he rejects it, pushes it away before the same thing repeats again like a neverending curse he couldn’t run away from.

When he saw you, it was like the air had been sucked out of his lungs, his throat clogged up, and flashbacks he wished he could never visit again came on his mind as his eyes widened slowly, gaze focused on your form not too far away from Wangshu Inn. He wanted to go away, to flee before he gave in, but he was magnetized by your pull—or more like destiny wills it to happen.

He unconsciously reaches his hand out but as soon as he realized he did, he pulls away; his hand, his gaze, and himself; disappearing into that one place you and him used to go to when you were once alive before, convincing himself that this was not you that he knew before. This was another you, one he would not want to hurt anymore, not after what happened.

VENTI had questioned himself far too many times; what was his purpose? Why does he still walk among the lands, as if he was waiting for something, or someone. Right. He was waiting for you. This was what had been on his mind that maybe the other gods above granted his wish to lay his eyes on you once again, to hear you voice that he had missed so much.

He would never let you go again, not anymore.

“You must be new here,” he muses, hands on his waist, relishing in the way your eyes landed on his and they were connecte again—finally, “a pleasure to meet you! Outlanders are very much welcome here in Mondstadt, allow me, your humble bard, to tour you around if you’d like!”

THOMA is the neighborhood boy who had always given you a welcoming smile despite not knowing each other that much. He has this aura that you’d want to have in your life, to suck in the positivity he has, almost like the sun—a beaming smile, a warm voice.

“Have I met you before?” one day, he decides to talk to you, like he does to others who are in your neighborhood. You, for one, thought it was just his way of trying to befriend you, but you didn’t know how much he had been longing to have a conversation with you, how much courage he had mustered to walk and talk to you—this had never happened to him, not to anyone else.

It must be why he said those words and sparked a new kind of connection that he just had the feeling that this was not new… you and him. If past lives were true, then he’d believe he was with you.

SCARAMOUCHE has a knack of getting into your nerves each and every time you see him. Yet when others try to do the same, he’s angry at them.

“What’s your problem, even?” you called him out when the same thing happened all over again; others trying to tease you until he comes and glares at them and says “Have you got no better else to do?”

“Shouldn’t that be my line?” he hisses, “I drove them away, what’s your problem?”

You scoffed, “It’s you, Scaramouche—or should I say lord Harbinger?”

He huffs out a breath, “How courageous of you to talk back to me, tsk, why have you always been like this?”

You were left alone as he walks away without another word, leaving you to wonder what his last statement might have meant.

It’s weird, how you felt like you had known KAZUHA even way before you two had met when you were children. Your connection was like gravity, pulling you his way and him to yours, one that he admitted as well.

“Kazu… do you think we knew each other in our past lives?” you questioned him as you both gazed upon the sky, littered with stars as you held your hand out as if reaching out to one of them, searching for their glow. As you do this, KAZUHA reaches out to your hand, grasping it on his own before pulling it on his side and landing soft kisses on each of your knuckles.

“If it’s you, my dove, then I don’t think such an idea would be absurd.”

KAEYA intrigues you, probably just as much as you seemed to him as well. Something in him makes you curious as to if he hides secrets behind that masked eye of his behind his eyepatch. Fleeting glances, flirtatious remarks, sly smiles.

“Who knew I’d find you here, Y/n,” he says that one time you sought solace beside the Cathedral, eyes lingering on the waters around the city of Mondstadt, deep in thought, “A Mora for your thoughts?”

You giggled, averting your eyes his way, “How about we exchange secrets then?”

“Secrets?” he laughs, “If you want one, then I’ll tell you.” he pauses, “Have you ever heard of reincarnations?”

When GOROU met you, he was in the middle of a fight—sort of. You were calling his name and for some reason, he knew yours. By the time he had woken up, your face came into view but he didn’t find you familiar at all, except by the uniform you wore that indicated that you were part of the medical team for the soldiers of the Resistance.

“You called them by name, sir,” one of them says, “do you know them?”

“You know, it’s a rumor that you say your past life’s lover’s name when you’re on the brink of death… maybe…”

“Stop that,” he scolds, “rumors are rumors, you should all focus on our mission at hand.”

He may have dismissed his soldiers but the thought of their words lingered in his thoughts until he saw your eyes again and a single name crossed his mind. Yours.

DILUC had always been intimidating for you, he had this aura that pushed most people away, especially those who dare not want to receive his silence and the glare of his eyes. He was a man full of walls, but it was still a curious thing how you had brought it down.

“I feel like this had happened before,” you said out of the blue one day when you were out with him, waling into the fields that littered all over the city for one to explore too freely.

“What did?”

“This,” you raised your interlinked hands, him with his signature glove that still radiated the warmth of the skin beneath it, “it’s like… we’ve been lovers before.”

He was silent for a little while, and you half expected he would think it was such a stupid idea, but he lets out a chuckle. For those who knew DILUC, they know how difficult it was for him to smile and react like that—only you were probably one of the only ones who could.

“What made you think of that, my love?” he finally speaks, to which you answered,

“I don’t know. It just feels like it. Don’t you think so too?” you peeked into his expression and your heart skipped a beat to see the small smile on his face, especially when he gazes at your way as well.

“I do admit I do feel that as well.”

CHILDE’s enemies had always been those whom he felt were stronger than him, ones that would make him look weak compared to them, against them. When you came in and defeated him in a game of wits, he knew he just had to defeat you one way or another. It was not too long when he realized that you two were like puzzle pieces that were far different but fit each other nonetheless. You two were meant for each other, to fight? Whatever it was, he just knew this was a far too special connection than any other else.

So he decides to beat you in one way he knew that could effectively do so.

He brings his knee down and he could see how you froze in your place, eyes widening in surprise and realization of what he was about to do and what words he was about to say.

Deep blue with the velvety texture of a box on his hand, he opened them and presents the ring in front of you, “Y/n, I don’t think I can hold onto this any longer without seeing it on your finger. The moment I met you, I knew it felt like I had already known you for a very long time. Will you marry me?”

The fallen blossoms get flown away by the wind far from its tree branch, but AYATO knew that two souls could never wander away when they were meant to meet. He believed in soulmates—how silly, isn’t it? Such were just fairytales from their grandparents but it was kept in his heart, even more, reminded by it the day he met you.

“It must be fated for us to cross paths, don’t you think?” were his first words, a knowing smile on his face as he anticipated for what you’d say—would you pull away? Raise a brow at him?

Your giggle resounds in the air, a soft curve on your lips as you replied, “It is quite a pleasure to meet you as well, Master Kamisato. I did not expect a person such as you would believe in such beliefs as well.”

“Well then, do you not?” he questions further, yet that look in your eyes made him think that he knew what the answer was.

“Why should I not when my supposed soulmate is standing in front of me?”

ALBEDO knew he could never impersonate the life in your eyes, to draw them on paper and paint their same hues, same shine. He tried far too many times but never were they ever enough.

His fingers graze over his new drawing of yours and just then, he did not realize someone was already beside him, gazing onto his sketchbook with curious eyes.

“That looks beautiful.”

He dare not speak but the moment he turns and glances at you, his chest tightens for an unknown reason, frozen in place as he waited for you to go away—was he hallucinating? Surely this image is far too perfect to imitate-

“Oh, I apologize if I frightened you. I’m from Sumeru Academy, you must be Mr. Albedo? The Genius Alchemist they’ve been talking about. I came here to meet you.”

Little do you know that as you reached out your hand to him and he reluctantly shook your hand, ALBEDO was breathless.

“Yes, that is me. To what do I owe this pleasure… Y/n?”

It had been so long since he mentioned that name. He might have to tell Klee not to say a word before you and her cross paths or else the past will unravel itself before he could even control it.

AETHER is not unfamiliar with both separation and death. When he lost you 500 years ago, the world crumbled around him and he thought he could never see you again, to have more time with you. Why must this happen to him, he questions far too many times. Yet the answers to them seem to be nonexistent—or more like he did not wish to dwell on it any further, not now that he had met you once again. The stars have finally aligned for him to gaze upon your form and be given the time that was robbed from both of you when you fell along with Khaenriah.

“Y/n… it’s you,” he says, and he remembered wishing that if he was asleep, he did not want to wake up.

“Who… who are you?”

His chest tightens at your words but a smile forms on his face—forced upon, more like.

“Did you really wish you’d like to know more about me?”

The whispers of the wind had always been next to KAZUHA’s ears, telling him of the truth and stories of people, of the dangers that are coming, or even the music of others’ hearts. With this, he finds that the beating of his heart was in sync with yours, and that there was no reason for him to hide it, and that the beating of his heart was in sync with yours, and that there was no reason for him to hide it. All the same with how he could feel the restlessness that your mind had settled itself in, even despite being leaned onto him, your back to his chest and his arms around your form. And by then, there was a whisper in the wind, telling him to speak, to utter words, to ease your mind. 

“The winds and tides have calmed, I suppose this must be a sign for us to do the same as well, don’t you think?” he played it off as he didn’t know, but it was far from it. 

ZHONGLI is a man who knows a thousand words, and maybe much more. He even knows the value of each of them, and the cost of the lack of them as well. With that said, it was quite easy for him to do such a thing—to say words that he either genuinely believed or not. Of course, the latter would only be for special occasions. Mostly, he is a man who is true to his words, and even if he does not relate to any of your troubles. 

“Is something bothering you, dear?” the aroma of the comforting tea dominated your senses, and so did the gentle voice of your lover in front of you. “You can speak to me about anything, love. How about talking about it over tea?”

ITTO loves your company. And with that, he supposes that it would be the same for you as well? After all, you chose him out of everyone else—someone like him to be by your side. It was something he never imagined would’ve happened, especially for you. For him just to be with you is enough, but everyday? He could even take you out to eat during lunch or supper? That would be a dream! Well, of course, he would not do anything that would be a discomfort for you. 

GOROU is a man who knows his duty. And as someone with such vigor, he would often give a lot of effort into pleasing you, making you happy—most especially at the very start of the relationship. Call it excitement, perhaps, but he does have a certain kind of joy whenever he witnesses you smile from something he does. 

“I heard that this is a new trend in couples nowadays… What do you think?” he has this flustered look on his face, but he did not falter in his words. Nonetheless, you thought this was cute of him to do. 

“I don’t mind. But what about you? Do you want to? I mean, fishing takes time, maybe even for a whole day. Are you sure you aren’t that busy?” 

“No, no, of course not! I already filed my leave today. And…” he pauses, looking away, “of course I’d like to go with you. Anywhere with you is nice.”

If there was the perfect way to describe what VENTI was feeling, it would be that he was craving for your attention and presence by his side. This is to the point that he would also want you to be used to his presence. After all, you would see him every now and then, so get used to it! He’d take you anywhere that would be enjoyable, don’t worry! And you’re going to be safe, he’s an Archon after all.

ZHONGLI had been through so much, lost so much—it frightens him sometimes how they would take you too. It was given that your lover was quite calm and collected, difficult to even stumble. Yet it was he himself who admitted his one true weakness—losing you.

“Dearest, I wish this wouldn’t sound so selfish of me, but I must confess,” he whispers to you one night as you sit on his lap with your back on his, his breath tingling by your neck and the side of your face. It was such a peaceful night that it came out of your expectation. You couldn’t see his face, his eyes, yet you knew he was serious, “What is it, my dear?” you inquire.

You felt his embrace on you tighten, as if he was afraid you’d let go—which you never would, your hand instinctively heading to his arms and reassuringly placing it over them.

That night was the moment he admitted to you his fears, the voice inside his head that a god shouldn’t even speak of in front of anyone, let alone a human. Yet he trusted you, he trusted you because he loves you. At least for now, he could hold on to you for as much as you’d let him. He just hopes that his insecurities would not suffocate you with the millenia he spent losing everyone else.

There are many unexpected moments when it comes to XIAO, he never fails to surprise you, really—just as much as you never fail to surprise him. He says he doesn’t know anything about mortal traditions and yet he actually does. He knows that giving flowers to your lover might give them joy, or maybe gifting trinkets such as crystals or jades. He knows how humans, most of the time, would desire for their partner’s attention and touch, and would ask for them if they could. He has lived for thousands of years—he has seen thousands of humans interact with each other.

You’re still surprised, however, whenever three stems of Qingxin were left by your bedside, or when he forms them into a crown to give to you, knowing you’d look good on them, just like how those kids by the harbor do towards their friends whenever they have flowers with them. He’s not clueless, but you, for one, was baffled and wanted to love him more because of this—he was trying his best for you, for this kind of love a Yaksha like him could have never expected.

VENTI may seem like the most sociable and open of all, but he can be very selfish when it comes to you. He wants to be with you all the time, he wants to feel or see your presence in the room, he wants to show you off in front of everyone else, and he also want to take you away to have a peaceful time with you and you only.

“Venti, where are you taking me now?” you laugh as you both get away from being stopped by Kaeya who had been trying to get in contact with you due to work—who could’ve known you’d even be part of the Knights of Favonius and also end up with the Anemo Archon himself? You were bound to be busy, but he’s taking your time and you couldn’t even peep a single complaint—you liked it, you loved it. Spending time with VENTI was more exciting and fun than you could’ve ever had with just doing your work alone.

Sometimes it could be a nuisance to others mostly though.

“Liyue!” he replies, grinning towards you, “Do you want to meet an old friend of mine? Guess we could pay him some visit.”

And let’s just say that’s how you met the Geo Archon that day.

THOMA is always a positive guy who’s good with his words, that was what you saw him as, no matter how much other people in Inazuma say never to mess with him—the Retainer of the Kamisato Clan. You thought they were just rumors, after all, he never showed any indication that he’s actually a scary person. When it involves the safety of you or other people he cares about, however, you realized that he could be feared of—in his own way.

“Say, what do you think the Kujou Clan—Kujou Sara, probably, will say, if I report that there are a bunch of Treasure Hoarders around this area?” he says, his eyes darting towards yours every couple of times to check how you were. It was obvious that he was trying his best not to engage in a fight, not with you there.

“What if you let us pass this road safely, we won’t report it if you do. You know, we’ll keep it a secret,” he even winked at the Treasure Hoarders as he held your hand tightly, keeping his cool throughout the interaction.

When they did, however, he went straight to the Tenryou Commission and reported what you and him both saw, “Of course, I won’t let them get away. We never know who they’ll attack next,” he smiles at you, pecking you on the cheek as you both walk hand in hand on the way home, “I know you always pass by that road too, right? Your safety, above all, is my priority, darling.”

He’s good with words—more so that he could us it as a weapon and a shield, but this definitely is one of the things he doesn’t show often unless needed.

SCARAMOUCHE is always cold. You have come to terms with his hisses and his snaps, his raised brows or his sharp glances that are usually followed by an amused chuckle or a ghost of a smile that you always fail to catch since he turns away almost immediately. It was not quite obvious, but he’s actually softer towards you than he did—actually, he spoils you whenever he can. He has subordinates guarding you whenever you’re going out without him; he replies to your letters, though it may take awhile, he reads each and every word and responds to them well; he even may have small gifts or trinkets with the letter that was sent—most of the time, they’re local goods from the region he currently is. He prides in taking care of his beloved, to be honest. He feels powerful—relieved, whenever he sees your contented smile.

“You like that?” he raises a brow, a small quirk on the side of his lips, “Of course you would, I picked that myself.”

On the other hand, he can be warm when you really opened your eyes.

KAZUHA is a calm individual, indeed he is. However rare, though, due to the circumstance, he is quite protective, especially when it’s you involved. He will draw his sword whenever needed—most of the time, he would not even think when your safety is hindered.

“Are you alright, dove?” he reaches for your face with his bandaged hand, soon followed by his other, once he had finished scanning the rest of your body if you were injured anywhere else. When he met your eyes, however, you saw it—fear.

All of a sudden, you were in a tight embrace, his hair tickling the side of your face as he whispered “I thought I lost you.” Of course, how could you forget?

Wrapping your arms on his waist, you reassure him, “You won’t, Kazu,”

He didn’t say anything else, but you knew that in his heart, he was still erratic. All you could do for now, however, was hold him and hope that it would be enough.

KAEYA, no matter how flirty he was, is extremely loyal. He’s probably one of those who’s quite sensitive to your feelings most of the time. He never fails to reassure you. Actually, if you’re the jealous type, he knows, and he’ll be trying his best to comfort you in any way.

“Look at me, love,” he has his hand on your chin, egging you to do what he says with his velvety voice. When you did, that was when you saw him slowly smile—not the smirks that he usually let out though. It was different, “Trust me on this, yeah?”

Unbeknownst to you, he was also testing you, trying to see if you were to be trusted with his own very secret—secrets he never should reveal but he found the potential to tell you anyway. Trust is something he was willing to give and receive, as long as it’s you.

GOROU, when he’s not called in for work, is rather lazy. There may be times when he feels bad for making you do all the work in the house if you’re visiting his home—which is quite messy. You think it may have been due to his work or maybe it’s already mixed with his own blood, but either way, you find him utterly adorable whenever he says “It’s alright… you know. You don’t have to clean if you don’t have to,” or “I’m sorry I got you in this… uhm… what else should I do?”

Don’t worry though because after you both clean up his house, he’ll reward you with a long session of cuddling with his tail affectionately wrapped around your waist, whispering “Thank you”s by your ear as he scatter soft kisses on your neck.

DILUC, unlike popular belief, will show his affections in public when he’s already comfortable with it. He’s not a cold and heartless man, after all. This happens slowly and gradually, however. First were holding your hand while Kaeya or maybe others like Jean, Albedo or Barbara were there, then the next would be letting your fingers interlaced with him stay as you walk down the streets of Mondstadt City, letting the others see the progress of your relationship with the most famous bachelor of the town.

The next thing you knew, he was already comfortable with pressing you forehead kisses or letting his arms circle on your waist as you two walked home after a shift of his at Angel’s Share. It takes time, but it will definitely be worth it.

CHILDE would lose to you. Yes, you got that right. You never actually see this kind of situation most of the time, but it will happen more than you’d notice. You two probably tried pillow fighting somewhere in between your relationship and he would say “Come on, hit me!” and he wouldn’t actually dodge. His hits are also light, not wanting to hurt you, of course. He fights for the thrill, the fever, the fun—but for some reason, play fights with you were the same as well. Would you be able to push him down? Beat him on your own accord? How dedicated are you to beating him and winning against him? His chest pounds at the sight of your wide grin and the sound of your laughter.

Yes, he loves this—he truly is whipped for you, huh?

AYATO may be busy, but he never takes back any promises he makes. You expected he’d be the kind to never have time for you, you were prepared for it. After all, he’s the Commissioner of the Yashiro Commission, it was a given and you’ll still love him for it. What you certainly did not expect was whenever he tries to find you always and will be making time for you whenever he wants to—which is actually most of the time.

“Ayato, darling, I thought you’re working on some papers sent by the Tenryou Commission? You know how they are with deadlines…” you muse as you snuggle next to him, yet he only tightens his grip on you and buries his face by your neck, feeling him smile next to your skin.

“I can do them later, let me indulge with my beloved for a little more.”

ALBEDO wants to know everything about love; little by little, as careful as possible. Actually, he was not just curious about the concept of love, but of you as well—the very reason why he feels this way in the first place. Everything is so new to him that even if he does have sweet moments, he is still new to everything. Which meant a lot of patience for him. One minute he could be someone who could tell you sweet little nothings but the next he could neglect you for the work in front of him. If it would be too much, let him see your mind, hear your thoughts, your voices.

“I apologize, my love. I did not know I was hurting you,” he says as he rubs your shoulder lightly, gently, almost as if it was a part of his apology after not coming home for two entire weeks without a single letter or word, buried in work above the snow of Dragonspine. He doesn’t have any experience with any of this, and he hopes that you could guide him to your needs and desires, so that he could recognize his own as well.

AETHER is extremely protective of you. Even the other Abyss members doesn’t see you that often—actually, most of them doesn’t know your face. They just know that their prince has a lover, and that was enough. When you journey or travel alone, there’s a specific emblem or some sort that reminds them not to attack you—a symbol or a mark to never bring you harm. That’s why any Adventurer or civilian that may be being attacked by the members of Abyss and you unknowingly stepped in, the members will instantly back away when they see that symbol on you.

Or else they may be the ones who will end up hurting themselves from the wrath of the prince.

You never knew about this until he himself confesses about it—which might actually take a very long time to do so.

ZHONGLI frequently strolls around the streets of Liyue; day in or day out, he walks and walks. Every time the other people, specifically the vendors would see and recognize him, they knew what was missing and what seemed to be the problem—you, you were not with him. He looks the same on the outside; respectful, dignified, and standing tall. Yet they could never fail to miss the certain glow on his eyes, his face, and his smile whenever you stood beside him. Unknown to them, however, he had got more time in the world to wait for you. So until then, he’d wait for your return as he walks along the streets of his land, waits for the time he could finally gaze upon your beauty once again; may it be under the sun or the stars from above.

XIAO asks for two plates of Almond Tofu—which is quite unusual of him since he never had that much of an appetite before, especially mortal food. Silence had always been his company, not until you came along. You brought him the voices of humans; who they were, what they were good of, what was the light hidden amongst the darkness that he had always seen. You gave him hope and the reason for people to love him—for him to appreciate himself more. His purpose was not just to protect all of Liyue, but he became someone for you, and the same can be said with you to him. He longs for the day you come back, and until you do, he has two plates of Almond Tofu; one for you, one for him. This is a symbol of him waiting for you, and until then, he will continue to do so, no matter how long it takes.

VENTI stays at home even if he’s longing for Dandelion Wine in the evenings when he’s all alone. He waits for your arrival, hopes that this night would be the night you come home and kiss him, hug him, cuddle with him. It all seems so foreign for him to be all alone once again, but it seemed he should get used to it by now. Not long after your absence, he finds himself swallowed up by loneliness, the words falling out of his lips like a cry—but it was tuned, with a melody that seemed to have resembled like a plea, begging for you to come back soon.

THOMA is often seen by the docks, staring far off into the ocean. One can tell that if they talk to him, he wouldn’t be able to give them the attention he so often gives to others. He is very well known to the Inazumans, which is why when he goes in a state like this, they would surely know what seems to be on his mind. You, of course. Your relationship with the Retainer of the Kamisato Clan is not that much of a secret. Contrary to that, everybody knew about it. When he stands by the docks, seemingly awaiting someone, or when people see him looking forlorn despite being surrounded by the strays on the place where he usually goes, they knew. He was missing you. And despite being able to always help everyone else, there seems to be no one who could do the same to him.

SCARAMOUCHE asks his subordinates if there’s any news from you. They would often scramble to their feet, trying to get to where he is when he calls, only to be asked “Anything from Y/n yet?” Most of them would complain whenever this happens to them, but even if they do, it doesn’t really affect SCARAMOUCHE. What’s more, is that he’s more out of it, really. Instead of getting annoyed than usual, he’s more… tame, so to speak. Damn. Why can’t you leave his mind already? He’s aware of what his lackeys are thinking—that you were able to reduce him into this kind of person; searching for your presence until he’s sure that you’re safe within his arm’s reach.

KAZUHA is more silent. Beidou and the Crew could only tease him about it for a while, only for it to backfire due to him being quite good with words. “Well, of course, I miss them. What sort of lover would I be if I don’t?” he will say. However, despite the lightness and ease in his words, it was quite the opposite of the pressure on his chest, and the lack of enthusiasm with the sight of the beautiful view ahead of him. What he seeks is you, and he has no other company but his words and the wind, to comfort him in this time of need. He doesn’t dwell on these feelings quite obviously, but only his soul would be testament to how much longing he could take before he couldn’t anymore.

KAEYA talks more, this is why it’s fairly obvious to other people what he was feeling, especially with you not beside him. Despite his best efforts to attempt to hide the secrecy of his emotions, to encase it in ice, not to be freed and seen, people knew nonetheless. And even if he realizes this himself, he continues to pretend and act like he was okay, like everything was fine and nothing changed since you left. Such a shame, really. How he forces the truth in other people’s minds and his, but the hollowness in his heart continues to stay as it was—empty. Like who he truly was without you.

GOROU buries his nose on your pillow and sleeps on it, or maybe hugs it and the scent that you left off of there lulls him to sleep. It has been so long that he has been alone that he could never truly remember what it felt like anymore before you left. Everything felt so new again as if you had been fixated and remained permanent in his life. He seeks for your presence, and he could only find it with the clothes you left, or the pillow that remained empty on the nights he returns home. Home… it doesn’t even feel like one anymore without you.

DILUC drowns himself in his work. He finds comfort on a busy day, to disrupt his thoughts of you from plaguing his mind, making him corrupted of memories of when you were there, supporting him, getting him through work without making him feel exhausted afterward. But he does it again—over and over again, he thinks about you. The more he does think about you, the more he works. The bags under his eyes, the weariness of his voice, and the slump on his shoulders. No one has the heart or courage to speak up, because they knew he would only close up, return back to the old him when you still weren’t there in his life to brighten it up.

CHILDE is rather antsy, which results in him getting quite messy and irresponsible in his work. It frustrates him, but he doesn’t want to show it in front of other people, especially his subordinates. You are his strength, but you’re also his weakness as well. That is a fact he came to realize before you two had even gotten into a relationship, Yet, he accepted the challenge because he loved you—he has genuine feelings for you. It’s funny, right? A Harbinger, someone who inflicts pain to anyone, being hurt because of love. How childish, the others of his same occupation would think. But he’s proud of this relationship, of you. And he’s a mess without you, which is why you need to go back—you need to come back into his arms and make him feel whole again.

AYATO will often be seen waiting. By the lounge of the Kamisato residence, or maybe by the garden, sometimes strolling around, which will make his sibling, Ayaka, see him often. This will be a recurring habit of his, to await your return since he was too preoccupied to do his work. He will still do what he needs to, but whenever he had the chance, he waits patiently for your return. He’s selfish, he wants to see you first, to greet you first, to embrace you in his arms first. So please, just come back to him—that is his only prayer every single day.

ALBEDO works more to the point of overworking himself, much like Diluc. The only difference is that ALBEDO does this because he has no one to tell him to stop, to rest for a while—that was how convincing you were. You knew how to coax him into doing something someone like him doesn’t really need, but seeing how much you cared for him and his health, he will do so. Actually, he may even have a note by his desk, one that has your handwriting, reminding him to “Take a rest, my love.” He’d read it with your voice in his mind, making him smile unconsciously and stare at the note for a little while longer.

AETHER will try to find you. Even if he doesn’t look like it because he still does what he should while in the process of finding you, he made an oath with himself to do so, wherever you may be. He has faith that you and he will meet again. To gods be damned. The stars will one day align and make him see your eyes which he so longed for in the days you were gone.

“Why do you even love me?” 

ZHONGLI is a strong and powerful god. He had been alive for centuries, millenniums, far longer than you do. The moment you found out about that, you’d be lying if you said you weren’t pressured; to live up to his standards, to be someone who he would not find too immature, to be someone… he will love. 

It overwhelmed you, to the point that it exploded like a bomb, detonating at a very unexpected timing that both you and he were left surprised when it did. 

“Why must you ask such a question, my love?” he speaks after a few moments of silence, both too appalled to first say a word. 

“Because… you’re a god and… and I’m just… I’m just me,” you stuttered, arms crossed over your body, “I’m…. I’m imperfect.” 

He steps closer, “But gods can be imperfect too-”

“You don’t understand!” your voice raised and he stops in his tracks. When you saw this and realized what you’ve done, you bowed your head, gaze now glued on the ground, “I… I’m sorry. I think I need a break… from all of this.” 

You may not have seen it, but he forces upon a smile on his lips, “Of course, take as much time as you need.” 

You bit your lip and turned away, wishing he would somehow fight back, somehow try to make you understand, try to fix this. 

But as he said, gods are imperfect. One thing you failed to understand was that humans, no matter how much truth their words have, still hold a hidden meaning behind them that gods may never comprehend.

ZHONGLI didn’t mind at all, no matter if you told him or not. Actually, you could tell him everything because he trusted you as much as you probably do the same to him. To him, trust is what builds a connection, a relationship.

“Someone wrote me a letter.” 

“Oh? What is it?” 

“It’s a love confession,” you chuckled, reading the letter to yourself in front of him, of course, without really disclosing even a single bit of its content. Tucking it then behind you, you turn to him with an awkward smile, “I hope I could politely decline them but… seeing that it is an anonymous letter, I couldn’t really do anything else unelss they show up.” 

Sensing your frustration, he reaches out his hand to yours, gingerly rubbing your skin with his thumb, “It will work out, my love, there’s no need to worry. If you need me, I’ll be here to help.”

XIAO refuses to speak of it. His feelings are rather… complicated, if he could confess it, that is. As expected, he doesn’t really show any other expression on his facade except annoyance, which is really usual for him. But the reason for this, however, is because he doesn’t know what to react at all.
