ZHONGLI had been through so much, lost so much—it frightens him sometimes how they would take you too. It was given that your lover was quite calm and collected, difficult to even stumble. Yet it was he himself who admitted his one true weakness—losing you.

“Dearest, I wish this wouldn’t sound so selfish of me, but I must confess,” he whispers to you one night as you sit on his lap with your back on his, his breath tingling by your neck and the side of your face. It was such a peaceful night that it came out of your expectation. You couldn’t see his face, his eyes, yet you knew he was serious, “What is it, my dear?” you inquire.

You felt his embrace on you tighten, as if he was afraid you’d let go—which you never would, your hand instinctively heading to his arms and reassuringly placing it over them.

That night was the moment he admitted to you his fears, the voice inside his head that a god shouldn’t even speak of in front of anyone, let alone a human. Yet he trusted you, he trusted you because he loves you. At least for now, he could hold on to you for as much as you’d let him. He just hopes that his insecurities would not suffocate you with the millenia he spent losing everyone else.

There are many unexpected moments when it comes to XIAO, he never fails to surprise you, really—just as much as you never fail to surprise him. He says he doesn’t know anything about mortal traditions and yet he actually does. He knows that giving flowers to your lover might give them joy, or maybe gifting trinkets such as crystals or jades. He knows how humans, most of the time, would desire for their partner’s attention and touch, and would ask for them if they could. He has lived for thousands of years—he has seen thousands of humans interact with each other.

You’re still surprised, however, whenever three stems of Qingxin were left by your bedside, or when he forms them into a crown to give to you, knowing you’d look good on them, just like how those kids by the harbor do towards their friends whenever they have flowers with them. He’s not clueless, but you, for one, was baffled and wanted to love him more because of this—he was trying his best for you, for this kind of love a Yaksha like him could have never expected.

VENTI may seem like the most sociable and open of all, but he can be very selfish when it comes to you. He wants to be with you all the time, he wants to feel or see your presence in the room, he wants to show you off in front of everyone else, and he also want to take you away to have a peaceful time with you and you only.

“Venti, where are you taking me now?” you laugh as you both get away from being stopped by Kaeya who had been trying to get in contact with you due to work—who could’ve known you’d even be part of the Knights of Favonius and also end up with the Anemo Archon himself? You were bound to be busy, but he’s taking your time and you couldn’t even peep a single complaint—you liked it, you loved it. Spending time with VENTI was more exciting and fun than you could’ve ever had with just doing your work alone.

Sometimes it could be a nuisance to others mostly though.

“Liyue!” he replies, grinning towards you, “Do you want to meet an old friend of mine? Guess we could pay him some visit.”

And let’s just say that’s how you met the Geo Archon that day.

THOMA is always a positive guy who’s good with his words, that was what you saw him as, no matter how much other people in Inazuma say never to mess with him—the Retainer of the Kamisato Clan. You thought they were just rumors, after all, he never showed any indication that he’s actually a scary person. When it involves the safety of you or other people he cares about, however, you realized that he could be feared of—in his own way.

“Say, what do you think the Kujou Clan—Kujou Sara, probably, will say, if I report that there are a bunch of Treasure Hoarders around this area?” he says, his eyes darting towards yours every couple of times to check how you were. It was obvious that he was trying his best not to engage in a fight, not with you there.

“What if you let us pass this road safely, we won’t report it if you do. You know, we’ll keep it a secret,” he even winked at the Treasure Hoarders as he held your hand tightly, keeping his cool throughout the interaction.

When they did, however, he went straight to the Tenryou Commission and reported what you and him both saw, “Of course, I won’t let them get away. We never know who they’ll attack next,” he smiles at you, pecking you on the cheek as you both walk hand in hand on the way home, “I know you always pass by that road too, right? Your safety, above all, is my priority, darling.”

He’s good with words—more so that he could us it as a weapon and a shield, but this definitely is one of the things he doesn’t show often unless needed.

SCARAMOUCHE is always cold. You have come to terms with his hisses and his snaps, his raised brows or his sharp glances that are usually followed by an amused chuckle or a ghost of a smile that you always fail to catch since he turns away almost immediately. It was not quite obvious, but he’s actually softer towards you than he did—actually, he spoils you whenever he can. He has subordinates guarding you whenever you’re going out without him; he replies to your letters, though it may take awhile, he reads each and every word and responds to them well; he even may have small gifts or trinkets with the letter that was sent—most of the time, they’re local goods from the region he currently is. He prides in taking care of his beloved, to be honest. He feels powerful—relieved, whenever he sees your contented smile.

“You like that?” he raises a brow, a small quirk on the side of his lips, “Of course you would, I picked that myself.”

On the other hand, he can be warm when you really opened your eyes.

KAZUHA is a calm individual, indeed he is. However rare, though, due to the circumstance, he is quite protective, especially when it’s you involved. He will draw his sword whenever needed—most of the time, he would not even think when your safety is hindered.

“Are you alright, dove?” he reaches for your face with his bandaged hand, soon followed by his other, once he had finished scanning the rest of your body if you were injured anywhere else. When he met your eyes, however, you saw it—fear.

All of a sudden, you were in a tight embrace, his hair tickling the side of your face as he whispered “I thought I lost you.” Of course, how could you forget?

Wrapping your arms on his waist, you reassure him, “You won’t, Kazu,”

He didn’t say anything else, but you knew that in his heart, he was still erratic. All you could do for now, however, was hold him and hope that it would be enough.

KAEYA, no matter how flirty he was, is extremely loyal. He’s probably one of those who’s quite sensitive to your feelings most of the time. He never fails to reassure you. Actually, if you’re the jealous type, he knows, and he’ll be trying his best to comfort you in any way.

“Look at me, love,” he has his hand on your chin, egging you to do what he says with his velvety voice. When you did, that was when you saw him slowly smile—not the smirks that he usually let out though. It was different, “Trust me on this, yeah?”

Unbeknownst to you, he was also testing you, trying to see if you were to be trusted with his own very secret—secrets he never should reveal but he found the potential to tell you anyway. Trust is something he was willing to give and receive, as long as it’s you.

GOROU, when he’s not called in for work, is rather lazy. There may be times when he feels bad for making you do all the work in the house if you’re visiting his home—which is quite messy. You think it may have been due to his work or maybe it’s already mixed with his own blood, but either way, you find him utterly adorable whenever he says “It’s alright… you know. You don’t have to clean if you don’t have to,” or “I’m sorry I got you in this… uhm… what else should I do?”

Don’t worry though because after you both clean up his house, he’ll reward you with a long session of cuddling with his tail affectionately wrapped around your waist, whispering “Thank you”s by your ear as he scatter soft kisses on your neck.

DILUC, unlike popular belief, will show his affections in public when he’s already comfortable with it. He’s not a cold and heartless man, after all. This happens slowly and gradually, however. First were holding your hand while Kaeya or maybe others like Jean, Albedo or Barbara were there, then the next would be letting your fingers interlaced with him stay as you walk down the streets of Mondstadt City, letting the others see the progress of your relationship with the most famous bachelor of the town.

The next thing you knew, he was already comfortable with pressing you forehead kisses or letting his arms circle on your waist as you two walked home after a shift of his at Angel’s Share. It takes time, but it will definitely be worth it.

CHILDE would lose to you. Yes, you got that right. You never actually see this kind of situation most of the time, but it will happen more than you’d notice. You two probably tried pillow fighting somewhere in between your relationship and he would say “Come on, hit me!” and he wouldn’t actually dodge. His hits are also light, not wanting to hurt you, of course. He fights for the thrill, the fever, the fun—but for some reason, play fights with you were the same as well. Would you be able to push him down? Beat him on your own accord? How dedicated are you to beating him and winning against him? His chest pounds at the sight of your wide grin and the sound of your laughter.

Yes, he loves this—he truly is whipped for you, huh?

AYATO may be busy, but he never takes back any promises he makes. You expected he’d be the kind to never have time for you, you were prepared for it. After all, he’s the Commissioner of the Yashiro Commission, it was a given and you’ll still love him for it. What you certainly did not expect was whenever he tries to find you always and will be making time for you whenever he wants to—which is actually most of the time.

“Ayato, darling, I thought you’re working on some papers sent by the Tenryou Commission? You know how they are with deadlines…” you muse as you snuggle next to him, yet he only tightens his grip on you and buries his face by your neck, feeling him smile next to your skin.

“I can do them later, let me indulge with my beloved for a little more.”

ALBEDO wants to know everything about love; little by little, as careful as possible. Actually, he was not just curious about the concept of love, but of you as well—the very reason why he feels this way in the first place. Everything is so new to him that even if he does have sweet moments, he is still new to everything. Which meant a lot of patience for him. One minute he could be someone who could tell you sweet little nothings but the next he could neglect you for the work in front of him. If it would be too much, let him see your mind, hear your thoughts, your voices.

“I apologize, my love. I did not know I was hurting you,” he says as he rubs your shoulder lightly, gently, almost as if it was a part of his apology after not coming home for two entire weeks without a single letter or word, buried in work above the snow of Dragonspine. He doesn’t have any experience with any of this, and he hopes that you could guide him to your needs and desires, so that he could recognize his own as well.

AETHER is extremely protective of you. Even the other Abyss members doesn’t see you that often—actually, most of them doesn’t know your face. They just know that their prince has a lover, and that was enough. When you journey or travel alone, there’s a specific emblem or some sort that reminds them not to attack you—a symbol or a mark to never bring you harm. That’s why any Adventurer or civilian that may be being attacked by the members of Abyss and you unknowingly stepped in, the members will instantly back away when they see that symbol on you.

Or else they may be the ones who will end up hurting themselves from the wrath of the prince.

You never knew about this until he himself confesses about it—which might actually take a very long time to do so.

it's raining where i live and i like rain so :D

Summer rain is unexpected but warm and welcomedー it's like a short reprieve from the sweltering summer days, with the transparent droplets cooling down to Earth, even if just for a short while.

You thought that it was a nice occurrence really, a nice break from the sweltering heat, a nice excuse to not go out and socialize with others, to stay in your pajamas all day without being called a lazy bumーyou heard these kinds of things a lot, so it was nice to kick back and wrap yourself up in your blankets.

So you'd be as lazy as possible.

Yesーprobably even more.

The sound of rain hitting earth was pretty.

You wanted to sleep some more.

If someone called you lazy, that was their problem, not yours.

ー 𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐔𝐂

Okay, normally he's the absolute worst the cuddle with in the middle of summer, but the rain has made the house 10x colder, and you need warmth dammit. So you just hug him close and refuse to let go. Unless it's for bathroom breaks.

He's so easy to rile up for someone who has a good poker face. Your constant nuzzlings against him have his face going redder than his hair. He gets used to it after some time, but you can still see the tips of his ears getting red. How cute, you often think.

Diluc will let you rest your head on his lap as he will scan through any documents he will need to read. You either reading a book you stole from his study, or you fell asleep and it is now on your faceーthere is no in-between. You're pretty sure Diluc saw you like that and chuckledーwhat a nice sound.

Diluc's hawkーbless her soulーhas started getting used to you. This means you can brush your fingers through her pretty feathers and she won't bite you this time. She'll often watch the rain with you, the only sounds being the rain and her occasional soft shriek.

He'll occasionally make his delicious ribs, and while you're not supposed to feed his hawk the food, she's giving you that look. You only give her tiny pieces, all while cooing about how grumpy and mean Lulu is, while said man is giving you a look too.

If you need to go fetch something while the rain is pouring away, Diluc will accompany you, and while he insists that he doesn't need an umbrella, you sure as hell ain't letting him get a damn cold on your watch. So he has no choice but to share the umbrella with you.

You spend the rainy afternoons in your sleepwear all day, not caring to change into regular clothes and often lazing around. Sometimesー yes, sometimes, Diluc would join you, tired from the piles of papers that needed to be looked over. But this time, you welcomed his warmth, and eagerly hugged him close, not wanting to let goーyou wanted to be selfish just this once.

ー 𝐊𝐀𝐄𝐘𝐀

Dear God, he has become your worst enemy whenever it rains. Since the rain has cooled down the once humid and hot summer air, it turns Kaeya into your worst fear. He knows exactly what he's doing and will put his cold-ass hands on the back of your neck.

The only good thing he does with his cryo vision is actually for entertainment purposes, just for the two of you. He freezes several raindrops in the air before they plummet down and shatter into several glimmering pieces. It's much prettier than it soundsーKaeya has a way of making it a beautiful spectacle.

He doesn't mind sharing an umbrella with youーin fact, he enjoys being so close to you. He'll hold the umbrella, but in exchange, you have to hug his arm. It's only fair, right sweetheart? He has such a shit-eating smile spread on his lips, but what the hell. You don't mind hugging him close either.

You'll sit out on the porch with an umbrella over you, as you watch the rain pour down. You watch as the crystalflies, once lazily flying aboutーnow flee from the onslaught of rain. You watch as they fly higher and higherーuntil they disappeared in a burst of crystalline dust. Kaeya will occasionally join you and spectate with you.

Kaeya will absentmindedly play with your hair, a rather monotonous expression upon his features, as he soothingly rubs your scalp back and forthーit's enough to make you drowsy. All the while he just gazes at you, a gentle smile having found itself on his lips while you struggle to stay awake.

You take frequent naps whenever it rains; the rain probably unlocks your lazinessーhaha. So you'll more often than not rest your weary head on Kaeya's shoulder while you snooze away. Sometimes you're so drowsy that you end falling into his lap, which he plans to tease you about when you're fully awake. But for now, he'll admire your cute sleeping face.

Kaeya taught you how to play some board games that he's familiar with, and now whenever it rains, you pull out the boards and get to work. He's kicked your ass far more than you'd like to admit, but the games keep your brain from turning to mush.

ー 𝐀𝐋𝐁𝐄𝐃𝐎

Since he's Klee's unofficial babysitter, she'll drag the two of you outside to play in the puddles and splash around in them. She's eager to see the world drenched in rain, so you and Albedo follow her around so she won't get over-enthusiastic and get herself lost.

When Klee gets tuckered out from her excess playing in the rain, you and Albedo take a walk in the rain, enjoying the clouded scenery and each other's presence as well. He'll occasionally seek out the roots of Boom Blossoms since the soil makes it perfect to collect them. You help him carry them back so he doesn't have to walk back and forth.

Since Albedo can't walk to his lab in such poor conditions, especially if it's thundering outside, he'll have to make do with what he has at home. It's honestly like a cozy little world that no one can touch. You get to play the role of a lab assistant for a little bit.

You love to play with Albedo's hairーit's just so fluffy and soft, how can you resist such fluffiness? Albedo doesn't really mind, letting out occasional hums as your nails gentle scrape across his scalp. you'll even put it up in a messy bun for him. That way his hair won't get in his eyes while he's doing anything.

Klee loves doing arts and crafts with the two of you, and Albedo usually comes up with something from his alchemy studies that will produce something safe enough for Klee to try out for herself. The two of you supervise, just in case something could potentially happen.

Albedo will sketch the hydrangeas that tremble with each drop of dew that falls upon themーhow pretty, you'd often think. You'll sit next to him while he sketches anything that catches his eye. The half-eaten lunch that Klee left on the table again, the transparent vials held upon his shelvesーeven you, while you gaze absentmindedly out the window.

You've taken naps with Klee before, the two of you curled up next to each other, lazing the day away. Albedo will walk in on the rather sweet and cute sight, and he'll watch silently, before pulling the blanket up further and wishing you a good sleep before heading off to finish up his sketches and alchemy.

ー 𝐙𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐈

Zhongli makes all sorts of warm teas for youーyou'll take anything he makes, since it always comes out so delectable. It warms up your body from the cold air that the summer rain brings, and it puts you in a better mood. It's so cozy and nice.

You told him to read any Liyue book of his choice while you rest on his lap, and he agrees with a chuckle. His deep voice, combined with the sound of rain? Oh yeah, you think that you're in heaven now. He'll stroke your hair while reading away, his voice becoming a baritone lullaby for you.

Zhongli likes to take you out for walks in Liyueーwhether it is the harbor or out in the wilderness of his nation. He makes sure that you won't catch a cold afterward, however. You favor visiting the ancient ruins from ancient civilizations long since forgotten to time. It feels nostalgic, but at the same time just calming to be there.

Every once in a while, when the thunder crashes violently about in the sky, Zhongli will prepare his Bamboo Shoot Soup, made just for you. You're about to cry, because he's so sweet, and it tastes so good?? Who the hell let him be such good husband material?

You both have poem-writing mini-contests, no matter how bad or good you are, Zhongli loves them. He wants to know what kinds of thoughts flow through that mind of yours, and how you would write it out on paper. No matter how embarrassed you are, he'll give out good pointers and writing tips.

Zhongli won't mind if you just want to be lazy the whole day, and he'll smile and chuckle when he sees your blanket-wrapped form waddling towards him, and he'll let you rest upon his lap while he reads over a new contract.

When the rain begins to slow, Zhongli will invite you to come and pick some Violetgrass alongside in. Well, you could use some more to try and make that Black-Back Perch Stew that Xiangling had recommended a few days ago, so you agree. You hold his hand the entire time, as he doesn't want to lose your foot holding on to the slippery rocks that adorn Liyue.

ー 𝐗𝐈𝐀𝐎

You asked Xiao to supervise you while you dance in the rain. Yes, you spoke correctlyーyou dance in the rain. Xiao scoffs and calls it another strange human activity, but he still does watch over you while you skip about in the rain, not caring if you look strange.

Most of the time, he's out patrolling Liyue, even in the rain, which makes you concerned, since he could get sick. He has to remind you that no, he doesn't get sick ' like you mortals' as he puts it. But you tell him that he's welcome to stop by your house during the rain whenever he wants. He almost scoffs but instead lets out a gruff, but quiet ' thank you.'

You've made Xiao Almond Tofu on many occasions, and even making some for yourself. It's become comfort food, as well as a rainy day dessert. You're not too confident in how you always make it, but Xiao calls your insecurity confusing, going quiet for a few beats, before telling you that the tofu tasted good today.

Xiao never understands your tendencies to wrap yourself up in thick blankets and laze around all day. You're too busy being lazy to care about his judgemental stare, or emerging from a pleasant nap whilst stretching and yawning. Sleep is the best form of self-care after all.

You sometimes like to walk around outside and crouch down in front of plants drizzled with raindrops, and you'll even spot some cute frogs and snails hiding amongst them. Xiao stumbled into you like this and stood over you, to which you looked back up at him and only gave a carefree smile in response.

When he's not out on his usual patrols, Xiao will accompany you when you go out to buy a couple of novels that were needed. He stays silent for the entirety of it, but he's the one who actually holds the umbrella and holds your now purchased books before you can even protest.

Half of the time you just walk around your house wearing nothing but an oversized shirt and undergarments. You're too damn lazy to change into anything else, and your mind is half asleep a nice majority of the time. So Xiao is going to have to get used to the sight of your nice ass legs, whether he wants to or not.

ー 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐄

You find yourself more often than not nuzzled into his chestーany noises you make are muffled out by his toned chest. He's surprisingly good hug material, and you need your damn naps so you just use him as a rainy day pillow. A nice and muscular pillow.

Childe more often than not trains in the rain, to which you think that he must have a damn death wish or something, but what the hell, let him have his fun. He knows damn well that when he comes back inside, you're practically drooling because of the water making his shirt stick to his chest and abs.

You really remind him of Teucer, jumping around and splashing in the puddles outside when you think no one is looking. You like to flick the outside plants, effectively making the raindrops drip down onto the damp earth. It's pretty satisfying to doーjust as simple as that.

Childe likes to occasionally cook steaming meals once it starts raining, and won't let you in the kitchen to aid him. He just kicks you right back out with a cheery smile and a closing of the door. Well in his defense, the food comes out rather tasty, and it always warms you up.

If you have to do your commissions out in the summer rain, just know that Childe can and will join you. He will gladly think of the downpouring rain as an extra challenge for practicing his fighting skills and honing them even more.

When he's not out trying to train his ass off, he's trying to playfight with youーyes he tries to playfight with you. If he's not trying to lock you in a losing position, then he's chasing you around the house like a crazed man, complete with a happy grin while he hones in on you.

When it rains, you either make it a lazy day or head over into the city to complete some errands. Childe will happily hold the umbrella and you close to him. All while you're busy picking out some desserts to try out. He has a shit-eating grin the entire time as if to say ' yeah, this my partner, look at me be such a good boyfriend. ' He's puffing out his chest whenever some elderly people gossip about what a lovely couple you are.

ー 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐄

He's staring you down whenever you decide to be extra lazy and calls you a lazy-ass, to which you just stare at him and just flip over and sleep more. He either gives you the shock of your life or he ends up cuddling close to you later on.

The two of you open up the sliding doors and just sit there, admiring how the plants jostle as the raindrops fall down on them. He makes fun of you at first, but he eventually joins you and the two of you talk about whatever comes to mind, whether it be him raging about how Childe called him a midget yet again, or anything else.

The sakura trees are especially pretty during the rain, so you drag Scara there to just admire the view. He's practically hissing at you for dragging his ass all the way for some damn tree, but you've learned to drown out his angry voice from time to time.

You have definitely picked up his nasty habit of watching people slip in the rain and laughing at their misery. Yes, Scara will literally drag you out to do this when he's not being a bitch in the Fatui. You definitely cackle at them alongside him, and now you're learning from him. He's rubbing off on you.

Did you think chucking a pillow at his face was a good idea at the time? Yes, yes you did. Are you probably going to die by his hand because he's chasing you down like a maniac while you're screeching? Yeah, definitely.

He's surprisingly sweet when you have to head out somewhere, holding the umbrella for the two of you while you walk outside. He makes it seem like it's an absolute waste of his time, but you know that deep down he does care enough to make sure that you don't get struck by lightning.

The one time you wanted to try out some Inazuman games, he taught you all alright, but he turns it into a damn competition and the two of you are throwing insults like it's a food fight. If it weren't for the fact that you like this damn midget so much, you'd have probably strangled him from the shit-eating smirk he has while beating you at everything.

ー 𝐃𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐈𝐅

He looks so funny when you're building a pillow and blanket fort because he just looks so serious, and then he's just surrounded by fluff?? Yeah, you're gonna smother that handsome eyepatch man with affection and not let go.

You love to use him as a heater and pillow whenever it rains, because he's nice and warm, and his chest is a nice pillow. You get an excuse to coddle him while it rains, and he honestly doesn't mindーeven enjoys it since he gets to be close to you.

You once brought in a cute green frog from the rain, and he had to spend a good minute just wondering how in the hell you managed to catch a frog. He spent even more of a good chunk of time just trying to convince you to put it back, but you wouldn't stop calling it ' our son. '

You like to bake cute cakes because you need your daily dose of sugar, and if it's something Dainsleif is familiar with, he'll help you by passing along the ingredients and stirring them for you. But he sometimes likes to watch youーhe thinks you look adorable, your concentrated face is cute to him.

He always holds the umbrellaーno exceptions. It's mostly because he towers over you and he's whipped for you. You hold his hand because it's really warm, and handholding is embarrassing for you. He always holds whatever you buy as well, and will not budge. You can't even physically pry it away from him because he's so damn strong, and he has the will of steel.

You hung up the glass wind chime you had bought for him, and like to listen to the sound of the soft music it produces in the rain-soaked winds. Dainsleif will occasionally join you and rub soothing circles on your head, to which you gladly accept. You wonder if he'll hear the sound of that windchime later on and think of you.

You threatened to throw mud at him jokingly, but whenever it's just the two of you, it's a full-blown war zone. You have to make sure that you're not wearing anything nice because Tohma will ruin it within the next 45 seconds.

Tohma can and will carry you over his shoulder just to trap you against the bed and refuse to move. Unless it's for the bathroom and food, then no. He requires attention and affection and you're gonna give it to him. You considered kicking him in the crotch because he's so damn heavy.

He's your personal heater, so when the summer rain makes you feel extra lazy, you're the one who's trapping him and refusing to let go. When you're not smothering him in bed, you're hanging onto him like a koala and absorbing his heat. His vision becomes your savior in the cold summer rain.

Despite his goofy attitude, he insists that you read at least one book whenever it rains. You're pretty sure he does it on purpose and planned ahead because he pats his lap a little too eagerly and looks a little too giddy.

Tohma is incredibly giddy when you ask him to accompany you on a rainy nature walk. He'll hold the umbrella, and he also insists on holding your hand the whole time. He looks like his usual goofy self, but internally? Oh yeah, you've killed him. The mantra that's going through his mind is They're holding my hand! They're holding my hand!

He offers to clean your ears, lap pillow, and all! You'd never tell it to his face because his ego would just get bigger, but he's actually pretty good at it. You'll end up falling asleep because of how soothing it is. Unbeknownst to you, Tohma's a blushing wreck, because ear cleaning is something that you only do with loved ones, and that includes lovers.

You had baked him cookies just one time, and now he's like an eager puppy, constantly prodding at you and giving you eager eyes whenever you enter the kitchen. You had just been experimenting with baking, so you suppose this could count as a success. Hell, you could add a tail to him just from how eager he looks.

Thoma crawls over to you, cupping your cheeks as soon as he’s between your legs and places soft, needy kisses all over your face whilst whispering in his little whiny voice how much he’s missed you and that he hasn't been able to stop thinking about you all day long ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Zhongli loves having his sweet darling sitting on his thighs, one of your cheeks resting against his chest as he strokes your hair, gently running his hands down your neck, causing you slight tickles. Zhongli tells you stories about the past with a low, tender and deep voice making your heart flutter in delight, his words being only interrupted by random kisses that he leaves on your head, occasionally using his slender fingers to gently press on your chin and lift your head up so he can easily access your pretty mouth, putting his lips against yours as he whispers how much he loves you, sending shivers down your spine everytime his breath touches your skin. ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Ayato sits you between his legs, your back leaning against his chest, taking advantage of this position to wrap his arms around you and get you even closer to himself. He just needs more of his beloved darling! Ayato loves moving his hands up and down your torso slowly, caressing every inch of you as he tilts his head slightly to leave little kisses on your shoulder, neck, cheeks. Practically, all the places that are within his reach. He often teases you too, going from barely brushing his lips against your skin to leaving a small nibble on it only to listen to your complaints with a sly grin. Poor darling of his... but do you really want him to stop? ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Gorou snuggles into your lap, doing his best to get his entire body on top of yours. If he can't, all he does is rest his head on your thighs, looking defeatly up at you, his arms flexed at his chest like a puppy and his pretty blue eyes observating you, waiting for you to put your hands on him. When your fingers finally dip into his locks, his eyes close in pleasure, cheeks glowing pink, and tail wagging back and forth joyfully. His pretty sweetheart takes care of him very nicely, mhm! ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Childe... he’s so sweet. He likes to join you when you're lying on your side in bed, getting himself in the same position as close to you as possible so he can hug you and put a leg over your. Yeah, that’s his way of saying “This pretty girl is mine and no one else touches her.” even when he’s alone in the room with you. It may be a pretty cute position for you, but for Childe, it has a meaning more about feeling responsible for your protection. In this way, he can also hide his face in the crook of your neck, leaving little kisses all over your collarbone with a victorious smile for having you by his side until he’s completely asleep. ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Diluc has a thing for literally feeling you over his body, so his favorite position is having you on top of him while he’s lying on his back, you resting your head on his chest and your legs between Diluc’s legs, which are flexed and spread apart to give you the space you need to situate yourself comfortably. This way you can hear his heartbeat well, which becomes unstoppable when you move even a little bit. Luckily you can't see his face and how extremely flushed he is. Diluc discreetly makes sure you don’t raise your head to look at him, putting both of his hands on it playing with your hair while he tries to distract himself with any other thing to bring down the hue of his cheeks to normal. ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Kazuha absolutely loves intimate moments with you, so he takes advantage of some place where there’s no one around at night to spend some time alone with his dearest. Sitting on the grass, the night cloak over you two and you next to him. It’s the moment of the day that Kazuha treasures the most. Loves having you close, when you lean your head on his shoulder as he puts his arm around you tightly, whispering how he’s needed you alone for him and only him, maybe even ending with a needy “may I kiss you now, please my love?” ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Kaeya keeps you close while you are both resting in bed. When you crawl to his side to rest your head and one of your hands on his chest, that’s definitely something that moves his heart and quickly reacts, passing his arm under your head hugging you closer to him, reaching with his fingers your cheeks and the corner of your lips. Every time his digits meet your mouth, an irremediable desire to throw himself at you and kiss you floods him, but Kaeya must remain calm — right now his pretty girl is resting in his arms and he’s a very honorable gentleman. ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Itto has a total of 0 problems when it comes to satiating his need for cuddles. Wherever you are, whoever you are with, he has it very easy to get you up from the ground — the height difference really helps him —. Your reaction by inertia is to wrap your legs around his waist so you don’t fall, and by the time you’ve fallen into his trap it’s too late to escape. His eyes begging you to please give him some attention, the pout on his lips and his strong but careful grip on your thighs all mean one thing — give him some love or you’ll be clinging to him like a koala all day! He has no rush, after all. ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Heizou loves hugging you from behind. From the front is too boring for him, besides, it amuses him greatly to see how sometimes you get scared with his spontaneous appearances in which without saying a word, Heizou appears behind you, immediately grabbing your hips with his hands, getting closer to you and giving you a little kiss —or lick— on your exposed neck. In bed, he does the same thing. One minute you’re totally relaxed, trying to fall asleep and the second after Heizou is up against you from behind, spooning you and nuzzling his head in the crook of your neck. ITTO cuddles you on his lap. he's fairly taken aback at first – when you plop into his lap – but rolls with it anyway. He kind of nuzzles his head into your neck or something. it's quite cute, seeing someone like you on his... extremely large frame. he's kind of like a big pillow, really. he's not squishy but it's quite comfortable! he actually likes how cuddly you can be sometimes and even welcomes it. he finds the smile on your face cute.

CHILDE just laughs as he shifts you around to make you feel more comfortable. he takes note of how you seem to fit perfectly onto him as well, if that makes sense? he loves how you're just so comfortable with him. he cuddles you as well after you plop onto his lap, exhausted. i can imagine him running his fingers through your hair as well! it's really very very cute ><

ZHONGLI welcomes the affection, cuddling you softly as he continues to drink tea and read his book. he's very gentle with you, like how he would be with a glaze lily. you're his precious glaze lily. he nuzzles you often, and also ends up looking up once in a while to give you a sweet kiss. he's actually quite affectionate when he wants to be, i think! it's very sweet.

DILUC is slightly taken aback, but he becomes very gentle with you afterwards. he's nice about it and ends up cuddling you... like everyone else. i think diluc genuinely loves it when you do that – you look adorable doing it! he can be snuggly when he wants as well. diluc loves the quiet parts of you, where the two of you can just.. coexist with each other. it's refreshing and calming to him, and he loves every part of it.

XIAO is confused, but he allows it anyway. he likes how you never fail to stick with him, despite his past – he notices the little things you do for him. he loves your affection, truly, even if he doesn't exactly acknowledge it all the time. such mortal things are not for the adepti, aren't they? but he can indulge in it for a little while... for his comfort and yours. he doesn't mind it, really. xiao will definitely cuddle you after.

SCARAMOUCHE gets a bit ticked off, but would 100% totally-not inch closer to you and hug you. he would never admit it, but he actually likes these little shows of affection! would kind of subtly nuzzle his head into the crook of your neck... if he's taller than you. otherwise it kind of looks like a toddler carrying an adult... but either way, he doesn't mind it. it's actually quite cute for him. and you. 101% would do this with you again.

THOMA accepts it wholeheartedly! he would cuddle you 24/7. thoma loves it when he gets to share these little quiet moments with you, it makes him happy seeing you so comfortable... even if you're on his lap. would 100% cuddle you and would get excited because who is he to deny that he's happy spending time with his favourite person in all of teyvat? it's quite cute, honestly.

DAINSLEIF is confused. no one had ever done it to him before... but you seemed happy, so why not? the taller man awkwardly wraps his arms around you in the process. honestly he might even tickle you and not realise that he was doing so, but it's quite cute seeing how he's trying his best. i have a feeling that he would try his best to cuddle you a little – it kind of works – but it's a bit strange to he lets his arm naturally curl around you. that's cute.

KAZUHA is somewhat taken aback, but he likes it. being involved in a civil war in his home country leaves him little time to rest, so he really does take the time to be thankful for each restful and peaceful moment he gets to spend with you. i think kazuha would cuddle you in response... beidou just looks on proudly and leaves the two of you alone. it's quite soothing to see; just two quiet souls existing together.

ALBEDO has sharp eyes and is naturally very observant. The moment he sees it, he has a feeling that something about it looks oddly familiar. “Is that… a love bite?” he could barely even call it by its other name mostly because he knew in himself that he didn’t give that to you. He wasn’t even at home last night. So it was best to question if it was really a love bite like he thinks it is. If you lie that it was a bruise, he’d question you even more about how it happened and there may even be a chance that he’ll believe you. He always believes you and he might not even believe in himself even if he was sure it’s a love bite… so in conclusion, don’t lie to him and tell him it’s a prank instead.

CHILDE was a mixture of mad and anxious, it’s obvious in his eyes. Actually, his whole expression would show that he’s annoyed but his eyes definitely showed confusion and hurt. “Is this a hickey?” his mood would instantly drop the moment he sees it—of course he knows what it was, he wanted to see if you’d lie. If you would, he’d say, “It’s obviously one, who gave this to you? I did not give this to you.” He trusts you enough not to think the worst but… “Don’t lie to me, Y/n, tell the truth,” he’d add, thinking that maybe it was all a joke. Honestly, this is the perfect time to say that it is and he’d heave out a sigh of relief and immediately wrap his arms around you. “Please don’t do that again, you’re hurting my heart, love.”

DILUC is a very sensible and calm man, at first, he might even think that it’s a bruise, asking you if you were alright, but upon further inspection, you could see him obviously recoil from it. “Why do you have a hickey, Y/n?” his voice would drop and if you take a peek on his vision, it would flicker despite him attempting to keep his cool. “Who gave that to you?” he adds, and it should be the indication of the end of the prank because he was getting angrier by the second. A heavy and relieved sigh escapes his lips as his entire body eases up, He ushers you close to him and he embraces you, burying his nose by your hair or neck, “Don’t do that again, okay?” he’d plead and you honestly think it is one of the often times he would show his emotions out in the open.

I firmly believe that GOROU has a natural instinct of being slightly more possessive than what he seems to be. He couldn’t actually control it. “What’s this?” The moment he sees the mark on your neck, he’ll make you halt in your tracks and he’d instantly inspect it, his eyes squinting at the mark as he holds onto your arm, might even be growling lowly at some point and he’s not afraid to touch the mark to see if it was real and when he proves that it’s not, he heaves out a relieved sigh. But then, he wouldn’t be able to stop himself from making a similar mark not too far away from it, leaning down and pressing gentle kisses on your neck before claiming his prize on a spot, sucking on your skin almost possessively. He leans away and his eyes gazes upon his work of art and you could see the hazed look in his eye before he turns to you and his facade instantly changes, smiling brightly at you like nothing happened.

KAEYA, the knowledgeable and flirt that he is, would lean down and kisses on the opposite side of where the mark is and leaves his own, sucking your skin gently and almost intentionally longer than he would. When he leans away does he licks his glove-covered thumb and use it to gently wipe the makeup away. “There. Now that’s what you call a hickey,” he’d smirk while winking and walk away, muscles easing up as he was immensely grateful that what his instincts told him was true.

KAZUHA would know how to catch you in your lie. Of course, there is that part in his mind that thinks the worst, but he wouldn’t accuse you of something that easily. “Where did you go before here, dove?” he’d ask questions like that and if he kisses you on the neck later on and see that you weren’t recoiling back, especially when he pokes at the mark, he’d know it was fake. He’d chuckle and press a peck on your temple and say, “Ying’er must have put something in your mind again, hm? You should have come to me if you’d like one.”

SCARAMOUCHE is angry as hell. “What the fuck is that?” he sneers, holding onto your skin at the edge of your jaw as he inspects the ‘thing’ as he calls it in his mind. “Where and who, answer me, Y/n before I lose my patience,” he glares at you, as sharp as any sword if it has to. He’s a Fatui Harbinger, a high-rank, even. Anyone who wrongs him shall be punished. Don’t try to attempt this on him if he hasn't trusted you that much because you will definitely lose that even if it’s a prank. “Tsk, don’t fool me again with that same trick,” because he definitely almost panicked that you were seeing another person. Almost. 100% will leave love bites on you that same night.

THOMA, on the other hand, was internally panicking. He almost didn’t want to ask you, and it took a lot from him to do so. “Babe… is that a love bite?” he squeaks, unable to look at the mark. The moment you would make eye contact with him, you wouldn’t even have the heart to lie because he looked absolutely hurt. Notably, he has a hand on your back as he holds onto the thin thread of hope that it was not true and that you still love him no matter what. Actually, he might also be ready to forgive you if it was… He just wants you to be honest. When you tell him the truth, he instantly wraps his arms around you and tells you, “Let’s stay like this for awhile. I thought... “ he’d sigh, “You almost had me there. I was so scared, you know?” and he definitely was.

VENTI would see it in almost an instant and freaks out. “Is that what I think it is?! Tell me it isn’t! Windblume, I did not give that to you!” he’d whine, even if it’s in the public setting, so it would probably be best if you do this away from people, maybe even in Windrise or somewhere that’s not in town because he’s definitely going to be loud. He might even cling onto you until you answer his questions. Knowing him he probably propped himself on your back and made you piggy-back him as he tried to give you the same mark. You two ended up falling on the grass because of that.

You really thought XIAO had been fooled. “Where did you get that?” he glares at the mark as he would to any other enemy then he turns to you to demand once more, “Who hurt you?” For the love of the Archons, poor boy thought that it was a bruise of some sort. If you tell him that it’s a love bite, he’d be even more confused. It honestly would take a lot more time because he really doesn’t have any idea about this… so your prank would soon be revealed because the hype died down along the way. However, he might be slightly more clingy than before, even glancing onto your neck for the rest of the day. Mission failed, but it’s worth it nonetheless.

ZHONGLI trusts you, with all of his heart, and it is to the point that he’d think it was done by your friend or that it’s a bruise. He’d ask you about it though. “What is this, love?” he’d trace the skin around the mark, inspecting it with his piercing eyes. You can almost feel him eyeing on it with his gaze. If you answer truthfully that it is a love bite, he’d momentarily freeze and he’d clear his throat, shifting on his seat. “Did I… give that to you?” he’d question even if he was sure that he didn’t. Maybe he just forgot? Surely he must have. Someone like him being not entirely sure? It would hurt to even see him like this so it’s a failed attempt on your side. When you reveal the truth, he’d just nuzzle his head by your neck and press a kiss on the back of your neck, “Please don’t scare me like this again, love, I don’t think I can handle it. I think I love you so much to let you go like that.”

NOTES. I was originally going to go for the college headcanons but i decided to do it next time since this one seemed too adorable to not write now. 

ZHONGLI is the gentleman neighbor. Always helping whenever you needed, always greeting you in the mornings when he goes to work and you were also about to do so with yours, or when you two also see each other when you both go home. Sometimes, he invites you to tea, especially when you openly show that you are comfortable with him and consider him as a friend. Actually, he sort of became your confidant. If you had anyone or anything you were frustrated with, it would be his pleasure to hear your worries and rants. He also has a knack of giving you history lessons… he doesn’t really mind even if you feel sleepy from hearing them, he’d find it adorable when he finds you asleep that time he was comforting you through his stories even. 

XIAO is the neighbor who glares at you or narrows his eyes at you when you meet his gaze. You always think that he is angry at you, so you never tried to approach him. At first. One day, however, you were walking home alone and he had saved you when some drunk person tried to hit on you. You invited him to dinner the next day in thanks for this, and since then, you found out that he wasn’t angry or irritated at you. He was just… normally like that, especially when it’s someone who he did not know much. The more you got to know him, the more you got curious about what else he would open up to you. He’s kind of like an onion; will sting you a couple of times with his words, but will nonetheless have many layers, but all the layers were a part of him, and you had grown to love each one of them. Before you know it, you will be considered the one closest to him and one of the very few people he trusted. Unbeknownst to both you and him, he was feeling more than that.
