But it seems that the same couldn’t be said as he gets accustomed to the ways of mortal life. It was then that he begins to realize that humans—mortal life is full of unexpected events. 

“Dear, can you come here for a minute?” 

He supposes he should not have been surprised. After all, you two had been going out together far more often than not. It is safe to say that you both have mutual feelings towards each other. 

Yet the calm touch of your voice lets the barriers he had put up in his soul slowly fade away as if the numbness of his scars had begun to recover from its wounds.

ʚ♡ɞ — For Thoma, there’s nothing better than coming home after a tedious day spent working for the Kamisato’s. Loves sprinting to your shared bedroom and you’re already there, laying on the bed waiting for his arrival all pretty and ready for him. Thoma crawls over to you, cupping your cheeks as soon as he’s between your legs and places soft, needy kisses all over your face whilst whispering in his little whiny voice how much he’s missed you and that he hasn't been able to stop thinking about you all day long ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Zhongli loves having his sweet darling sitting on his thighs, one of your cheeks resting against his chest as he strokes your hair, gently running his hands down your neck, causing you slight tickles. Zhongli tells you stories about the past with a low, tender and deep voice making your heart flutter in delight, his words being only interrupted by random kisses that he leaves on your head, occasionally using his slender fingers to gently press on your chin and lift your head up so he can easily access your pretty mouth, putting his lips against yours as he whispers how much he loves you, sending shivers down your spine everytime his breath touches your skin. ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Ayato sits you between his legs, your back leaning against his chest, taking advantage of this position to wrap his arms around you and get you even closer to himself. He just needs more of his beloved darling! Ayato loves moving his hands up and down your torso slowly, caressing every inch of you as he tilts his head slightly to leave little kisses on your shoulder, neck, cheeks. Practically, all the places that are within his reach. He often teases you too, going from barely brushing his lips against your skin to leaving a small nibble on it only to listen to your complaints with a sly grin. Poor darling of his... but do you really want him to stop? ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Gorou snuggles into your lap, doing his best to get his entire body on top of yours. If he can't, all he does is rest his head on your thighs, looking defeatly up at you, his arms flexed at his chest like a puppy and his pretty blue eyes observating you, waiting for you to put your hands on him. When your fingers finally dip into his locks, his eyes close in pleasure, cheeks glowing pink, and tail wagging back and forth joyfully. His pretty sweetheart takes care of him very nicely, mhm! ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Childe... he’s so sweet. He likes to join you when you're lying on your side in bed, getting himself in the same position as close to you as possible so he can hug you and put a leg over your. Yeah, that’s his way of saying “This pretty girl is mine and no one else touches her.” even when he’s alone in the room with you. It may be a pretty cute position for you, but for Childe, it has a meaning more about feeling responsible for your protection. In this way, he can also hide his face in the crook of your neck, leaving little kisses all over your collarbone with a victorious smile for having you by his side until he’s completely asleep. ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Diluc has a thing for literally feeling you over his body, so his favorite position is having you on top of him while he’s lying on his back, you resting your head on his chest and your legs between Diluc’s legs, which are flexed and spread apart to give you the space you need to situate yourself comfortably. This way you can hear his heartbeat well, which becomes unstoppable when you move even a little bit. Luckily you can't see his face and how extremely flushed he is. Diluc discreetly makes sure you don’t raise your head to look at him, putting both of his hands on it playing with your hair while he tries to distract himself with any other thing to bring down the hue of his cheeks to normal. ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Kazuha absolutely loves intimate moments with you, so he takes advantage of some place where there’s no one around at night to spend some time alone with his dearest. Sitting on the grass, the night cloak over you two and you next to him. It’s the moment of the day that Kazuha treasures the most. Loves having you close, when you lean your head on his shoulder as he puts his arm around you tightly, whispering how he’s needed you alone for him and only him, maybe even ending with a needy “may I kiss you now, please my love?” ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Kaeya keeps you close while you are both resting in bed. When you crawl to his side to rest your head and one of your hands on his chest, that’s definitely something that moves his heart and quickly reacts, passing his arm under your head hugging you closer to him, reaching with his fingers your cheeks and the corner of your lips. Every time his digits meet your mouth, an irremediable desire to throw himself at you and kiss you floods him, but Kaeya must remain calm — right now his pretty girl is resting in his arms and he’s a very honorable gentleman. ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Itto has a total of 0 problems when it comes to satiating his need for cuddles. Wherever you are, whoever you are with, he has it very easy to get you up from the ground — the height difference really helps him —. Your reaction by inertia is to wrap your legs around his waist so you don’t fall, and by the time you’ve fallen into his trap it’s too late to escape. His eyes begging you to please give him some attention, the pout on his lips and his strong but careful grip on your thighs all mean one thing — give him some love or you’ll be clinging to him like a koala all day! He has no rush, after all. ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — Heizou loves hugging you from behind. From the front is too boring for him, besides, it amuses him greatly to see how sometimes you get scared with his spontaneous appearances in which without saying a word, Heizou appears behind you, immediately grabbing your hips with his hands, getting closer to you and giving you a little kiss —or lick— on your exposed neck. In bed, he does the same thing. One minute you’re totally relaxed, trying to fall asleep and the second after Heizou is up against you from behind, spooning you and nuzzling his head in the crook of your neck. Forgive him, poor baby always wants to feel his pretty girl by his side! ♡

ʚ♡ɞ — What does Albedo love the most? Well, his preference without a doubt is when you shyly intertwine your fingers with his. It may not be much, but his heart goes crazy when he feels this simple show of affection from you. Being honest, the only thing Albedo needs is you. It doesn't matter what you want to do —hold his hand, hug him, kiss him.— He will do anything to keep his girl happy. Oh, besides in bed he’s extra affectionate with you. Nothing stops him when he wants to get closer to you, always asking you if you are comfortable about it first. But of course you are! Shut his mouth with a kiss on his lips and you’ll have him enamored for the rest of the night. ♡

—what gift would they buy you for Christmas/the holidays?

THEMES. more chara analysis but they’re fluffy tho!

NOTES. these are quite shorter than i originally do the other multi-hc’s but it’s going to be like this for the other version as well hehe. enjoy enjoy!

AYAKA would give you a sword—a katana, specifically, one that is intricately made and also has a hilt that resembles you a lot. A flower if you liked them, or maybe a symbol for your own Vision. Whatever it was, she wants you to know that her gift is custom-made, just for you.

BEIDOU would give you a matching eye-patch—yes, even if you didn’t need it. She noticed that you sometimes kept on staring at her own so she brought you one also! That’s her reasoning, anyway. To be quite honest, she just wanted to see you with one as well and ingrain the image in her memory.

EI would give you a cake, or maybe your favorite food. It’s a bought item, however. She cannot bake or cook one herself so she probably asked for someone else’s help or she bought it at the finest shop there is in Inazuma.

EULA would give you a glove, especially if you insist on joining her in her journeys, most specifically if they involved Dragonspine. However, it is also proven useful if it’s during the cold seasons in Monstadt. The thing is, she probably brought one herself, she’s just too shy to bring it out that it remained in her pocket or room.

GANYU would give you a perfume, concocted personally by Ying’er. She actually got the idea from Baishi, Baiwen and Baixiao, saying that whatever is made by Ying’er will definitely be something the receiver would like.

ZHONGLI is grateful that you are safe. Mortals are fragile, and it was a huge relief for him, but he can’t say he wasn’t saddened by your lost memories, because he was. Yet, it was not that much of a dominating feeling than the relief and comfort of knowing that you’re doing well. 

He couldn’t help himself, it was as if his hand was craving your skin, reaching out to the side of your face to trace his fingers lightly whilst offering a gentle smile. 

“Mr. Zhongli…?” you stutter—did he make your heart flutter again? 

“Is this uncomfortable?” he retracts his hand and backs away to give a respectful amount of space between the two of you. 

“It’s…  alright,” you let out with a bit of hesitation in your voice, “I don’t… for some reason, I don’t mind it. It must be hard for you as well.”

“You mustn’t think about it,” he says, “it must also be difficult to lose all your memories. I am here to help you as much as you can.” 

He sees you smile again—it was the same one you’d often give him, different, but still similar nonetheless. 

For now, he thinks it was enough.

ITTO loves your hugs! soft and sweet, he willingly melts into your embrace. in all actuality, the sight of you hugging him is quite funny due to the sheer size difference, but you don't mind it! there's more of him to hug. when he's with you, itto doesn't care of his reputation. all he cares about is your comfort and wellbeing and if he's accidentally squishing you too hard or not. itto can really be such a sweetheart! so yes, hugs with him are incredibly amazing <3

CHILDE loves loves loves any sort of physical affection from you. sneaky cuddles, hugs, kisses – anything that he can get, he wants it. childe loves your hugs so much; they're the equivalent to a hot chocolate or a warm blanket. it's soothing to him, especially as a man who has been on the battlefield for quite some time – these precious moments are rare and short-lived, but always sought after! it's really quite cute – scary fatui guy being all snuggly. you don't mind it at all.

ZHONGLI welcomes any sort of physical interaction, although he may be a bit stiff at first. zhongli may not be a natural at hugging, and may sometimes awkwardly elbow you in the stomach – but over time, his hands seem to perfectly find its way around you into a hug. time does that, and changes the nature of your relationship for the better, i believe. zhongli does like warm hugs, it makes him feel a sense of peace and relief from his war-torn memories.

XIAO wouldn't admit it at first, but he seeks out your hugs as a source of comfort. being involved with violence from such a young age left him eager to seek comfort. your hugs were sunshine, happy days, good things – each caress leaving him asking for more. xiao, all tough facade deteriorated – loves every type of physical touch he can get from you. he wouldn't admit it, but he thinks that physical touch is really the special thing that sets apart your relationship from the others.

SCARAMOUCHE didn't like it at first, but grew over time to enjoy each hug from you. being a warrior – and an outcast – made his need for physical affection grow to heights he never knew about. he was touch starved; the lack of love from relatives helped with his repressed need for affection. he loves how your chin just fits perfectly in the crook of his neck, and he loves how he can just be... himself around you. without the stress of being a balladeer or part of the fatui. just... scaramouche, kunikuzushi. just him.

THOMA loves all the affection he can get! i know it seems repetitive from my other post, lol. thoma is such a cuddle bug and is always 100% down to cuddle anytime! whether he's at work, eating lunch, preparing hotpot ingredients, baking with you, cleaning the house, anything! he'd steal you away to cuddle sometimes XD but when there's no time? hugs are always the solution. quiet breathing as he curls into you. when he's upset or bored or angry or just feeling any emotion... thoma looks for you straightaway.

DAINSLEIF isn't a hugs type of person, but would do it just for you. i don't think he likes physical touch very much, but he might indulge you in it every once in a while! he needs a bit of solace after being plagued by his past. he might curl into you after a long day or research, or after a battle, after you had tended to his wounds. dainsleif doesn't exactly mind hugs... only if he comes from you. he wouldn't accept it if it comes from anyone else! you're special that way. XD

KAZUHA loves your hugs! especially out at sea. he loves how he can find you out at deck, and just wrap his arms around you. late nights are spent cuddling with you all the time. he loves how he could just cuddle you, no questions asked as the two of you can just.. co-exist in the space together. just you and him, as everyone else retires for the night. you can see the lights of liyue harbour together, the quiet bustling of the city, a gentle reminder that you're still out at sea. but that doesn't matter, because you're with him!

ALBEDO buried himself in his work right after he buried you. Actually, he wasn’t even working the same way as before. Yes, he was conducting his experiments, but he was not the same as before, as both Sucrose and Timaeus could tell. His expressions had never shone as brightly as it did when he was with you that even Klee could not make his smile reach the edge of his eyes. In his mind, with Science, everything is possible. If this work of his would lead him to a fate that would help him see you again, then he’d do anything for that to happen. Anything.

CHILDE smiles and acts like before, but it was quite obvious from his lackeys that he’s easier to anger nowadays. Some would even say he’s slowly becoming a little like Scaramouche at some point. Either way, in the end, he never really did move on from your death. He says he did, but he never will. Within the depths of his soul, the smile that’s on his face and the laugh that he gives are all but a farce, a mask much permanent than his own.

DILUC doesn’t look like it with his cold front, but he blames himself everyday with what had happened. Everyday he loses sleep, and everyday at least once would he utter your name, unconsciously. Before he’d rarely remember basic necessities and always had your help with them, but now all he could remember is you and how different it was when he lost you. No one will remind him now how he should take care of himself, how he should properly sleep at night, or how he should take breaks when handling matters regarding Dawn Winery. No one.

GOROU is the general—was your general. Not anymore. He was praised for his work and leadership, but he could not even protect his own lover who was one of his soldiers—a shame and utter defeat. He cried over your body that day and growled at anyone who dares come near you, but now, there was nothing he could really do. Everyday beneath the raining sky and thundering clouds, he repents. Everyday he tries to tell you he was sorry for not being able to protect you, to offer you Sakura Blooms near your grave, but it seemed… “Not enough,” he hisses, his knees and palms falling onto the ground, head bowed down, unable to look onto the name engraved on the stone—your name. Once again, he apologizes a thousand times, but like the storms in Inazuma, nothing was ever enough.

KAEYA has had nightmares before, but now, he only sees your face. He could barely even call it a nightmare until he wakes up with sweat all over his body, breathing hard, mind still dazed at the memory of your last moment with him. No matter the day, it was always the same dream, same nightmare, same ending. It’s as if the world was telling him that nothing could be changed now, that all of these feelings were all a result of him not confessing to you earlier on. He wouldn’t be regretting now if he had said those three words before, not when you were already gone. He tries his best to hide it, to hide the pain like he does to everything, but everyone knows that the only reason the Chivalry Captain only visits the Angel’s Share is because of you.

KAZUHA still writes haikus for you, even reciting them into the empty wind, hoping it will carry his voice for your spirit to hear it. He had accepted it long ago but deep inside, he held you dearly in his heart, gripped you unlike when he would when you were still alive, when he thought that everything was okay. He was too at ease, and the worse came, just like when it had before. Unknowingly, he closed his heart for anyone else because it was too full of you and his memories with you. He still couldn’t let you go, after all.

SCARAMOUCHE had been antsy. Was he losing his touch? Hell no. He was in the same condition as before, no one could barely tell any difference. That is until one of his lackeys woke up that night and was sneaking for some food, ears catching up onto the wails from the forest, screams that soon followed by a clasp of electro, its light flowing between the trees. SCARAMOUCHE has had sleepless nights, but these days have been far worse than ever. Barely being able to sleep without seeing you being killed in front of him, only to feel his anger rise up even more when he remembers that it was his own that did it. If he could have done anything differently, then maybe… No. He can’t do anything now but to fulfill his duty for the Tsaritsa and let his boring life go on. That’s right. Just like yesterday, he will continue on, even without you. Tomorrow he might act like this, but does he really have any other choice now?

THOMA was hiding in your house when it happened, when everything was stripped away from both you and him, and all was because of him. Your dreams, aspirations, your life… it all ended because-“Don’t blame yourself,” your voice echoes in his mind, and he grieves even more. “Why does it have to be you?” he questions aloud, but only to be met by the stars and the silence of the night. Once again, emptiness envelopes his chest. He was the type to never feel lonely, but he didn’t realize that losing you would make him feel this way.

VENTI was the same. He acted the same, but the difference was; everyone looked at him with pity, and it was more difficult to keep up the facade any longer. Before you came, he knew he was miserable, but after you were gone, it was everyone’s turn to know. Why must they look at him this way? Can’t they see that he’s alright? Can’t they hear him singing happy and sappy songs and can’t they see him interacting with others well… only to end up being entirely closed off as the night progresses; his songs reminding him of you, the sight of Angel’s Share making him recall moments he had with you there, of when you talk to him each and every night. Turns out… he hasn’t moved on after all.

XIAO hears the way you called his name for the very last time; the day when he failed to save you, where he was the reason why this even happened, and it still haunts him till this very day. He never slept because everytime he did, he would only see your face and never want to wake up. He remains composed, and he still acts like usual, but anyone who knew him truly could feel it, could see the way he had been more dismissive and aloof than before, if that was even possible. Even his fellow adeptis could barely talk to him now. They thought it was best to leave him with his business or else it would get worse, but they never knew that his love for you was strong enough for him to handle for the next few years, or maybe a hundred. He already knew love, and it was with you—only you.

The child you left ZHONGLI reminds him of you. It aches his heart, but the child was also his source of joy in moments that he felt so alone. In a world where a god surrendered everything for his mortal lover only to lose the said lover, your child was the only connection that he had with you, and he spends every second of every minute loving, caring and protecting his child. But every day, he still longs for your smile, and every night he longs for your voice whenever you say you love him as he replies the same. He might be a god, but he knew of these feelings because of you, and he owes them to you, as well as he couldn’t help but feel negative with it. This love was worth it, but without you here, was it really?

long overdue for me to write smth for yall omg 😭 i kinda took an unscheduled mini break from writing bc I'd managed to burn myself out a lil lmao

once again the way i wrote these rly changes as u go down but I thought the concept was cute so 😩 also peep me finally trying to write smth for thoma after wanting to for weeks now 🤩

Kaeya would embrace you often, but rarely tightly. Casual hugs and frequent pecks to the cheek are common with him, but only when you really manage to get to know him and only if he ever shows you how emotionally vulnerable he can be will he ever hold you tight. If you reach that threshold in your relationship, he will wrap his arms around you and softly declare that he never wants to let you go again.

Diluc is far less frequent with the way he holds you, by which he simply chooses to do so exclusively from the comfort of behind closed doors. When you're alone together, expect to be held as if you're the most precious thing in the world, warm and tender as he wants nothing more than to enjoy spending time with you. His hugs are soothing, enough to comfort you even when you feel inconsolable.

When you're embraced by Albedo, expect to get a noseful of chemical scent. He almost always smells strongly of whatever scientific experiment he has been enacting last. However, his hugs are tight and sincere. He holds you like he means it, like he's trying to squeeze every last drop of whatever emotion he's feeling at the time out into it.

Childe would hold you like he couldn't ever let go of you. His embraces are enthusiastic and full of passion, quite literally sweeping you off your feet if it has been a particularly long time since you last saw him, barrelling into you and knocking the breath from your lungs. With his frequent travelling, often he will come back home to you and just spend an entire evening holding you in his arms to make up for all the time with you he has missed.

Zhongli's embraces are all-encompassing, but not suffocating. They're warm, usually accompanied by a gentle kiss to the top of your head. More often than not, you find yourself in his arms particularly at the end of rather long days, the simple action completely eradicating any stresses you had had to endure. They're comfortable enough to have you falling asleep wherever it happens, sometimes even catching yourself close to dozing off when you're stood up.

Xiao rarely holds you at all. Not because he doesn't want to, but instead because he feels like something bad will happen to you if he does. If you do manage to convince him otherwise, to reassure him that you'll be completely fine, he holds you delicately- as if you're made of glass. Any wrong move and he thinks you'll shatter. You promise him that you won't and his arms wrap the tiniest bit tighter.

When you're held by Kazuha, it's tender but fleeting. As if he can't bring himself to hold onto you for longer than a few moments. Approach him about it and he'll go quiet, softly explaining that even if he holds you forever he's worried you'll still end up slipping out of his grasp. You find, however, under cover of night, he holds you tighter. When he thinks you're asleep, he will wrap his arms around you and stay like that for the entire night.

Venti embraces you often, no matter the occasion. It's his favourite way of showing affection and with you at the receiving end it happens pretty much all the time. It'll be rare to not find him by your side, drawing you close to him, even with something as simple as keeping his arm draped around you. One of his favourite ways to hold you is with you nestled in his lap as he places his head in the dip between your neck and shoulder.

The way that Thoma embraces you somehow always manages to leave you breathless. It isn't often that you get to, usually just the first few moments of seeing one another again after time apart, but he scoops you into his arms in such an overwhelmingly passionate manner. You swear every time you're able to feel just how much he loves you with those welcoming hugs alone. If your time apart has been especially fraught with concern, those simple hugs manage to make it feel like everything is going to be alright again.

ZHONGLI is observant, but he is dense as well. The moment he lands his eyes on you, there was already a gentle smile on his face. His arms found your waist, circling around you as he pulls your back to his chest. With this proximity, he was able to catch a whiff of your homely scent, the muscles on his shoulders easing down at the feeling of home. 

Only when he had pulled so very slightly away when he brought up your clothing, “You’re dressed quite differently today, is there something special to celebrate, dearest?” 

“Ah, not really,” you say, “I just wanted to wear something different for a while.” 

“Well, it is indeed different from those of Liyue customs… tell me, where did you get it from?”

But what if? What if you had ended up with someone of your kind instead, would the situation be any different? For the better, or for worse? 

Surely, it would not be the latter. 

Those were what he thought as he forced himself to smile when you waved at him from afar.
