Hello My dearest friends,๐
My name is Mahmoud Jihad, from Gaza. My home, my university, everything has been destroyed. I now live in a flimsy tent with my family after losing everything. I was studying Information Technology while caring for my family, and now we have nothing. ๐
We are living amidst indescribable destruction and desperately need your help to survive. ๐ญ Even a small donation can make a huge difference. Every contribution is a spark of hope in the darkness of this war. โจ
My campaign is verified by: @beesandwatermelons โ #190 and @gazavetters โ #63.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Let's rebuild our lives together. ๐โค๏ธ
!!!!!!!!!
there are palestinian kids who should be in school, getting ready for a new semester. they should be procrastinating their homework, texting their friends. they should get to go home when they feel unsafe or upset.
instead, the school year was suspended on november 6th. over 200 schools have been bombed. more than 7,870 children have been killed. kids do not have a safe place. anywhere. their homes are being destroyed and their schools are being destroyed and the places they used to hang out at and eat at and shop at and pray at and mourn at and live at are actively being destroyed
people of palestine, of all ages, should be living their lives. they should be having normal experiences. they should be going to the movies or redecorating their rooms or celebrating birthdays or scrolling their phones for no reason. but theyโre not. theyโre not allowed to have the comfort of mindless human joy without constant threat and fear and bloodshed, and it is the fault of israel, the united states, and other fucked corrupt governments.
there have been close to 20,000 palestinian deaths, almost 2.2 million people displaced, and an estimated half of those people face starvation.
we need to fucking do something. the fact that the US still refuses to support a ceasefire is disgusting and evil. the claim that all anti-israeli statements are based in antisemitism is hurting both the people of palestine and jewish people worldwide.
hereโs some things you can do:
-donate if you can or ask someone you know to donate
-sign a petition to demand a ceasefire
-fill out a form to email your representative. then do it again. then do it again. then do it again.
-boycott and avoid all companies on this list that you can (especially now that the holidays are rolling around: buy from independent stores, non-big name brands)
-spam text your friends and family with this post and these links
-reblog to spread awareness, interact with other posts that give instructions for direct action, follow palestinian voices
-instead of feeling guilt or denying yourself personal happiness, do all you can to make a difference. it doesnโt matter if you donโt have money to donate or if youโre a minor. you can always contact representatives or sign petitions
That moment when you have no one to listen to your info dump so you just walk around your room in circles ranting to yourself
PLEASE DONATE TO THEM IF YOU CAN!!!
๐๐Stop, please ๐๐
We have been displaced several times, and our tragedy has reached the point that we now live in a tent that is unfit for living. We desperately need your help, I have launched a donation campaign but I cannot get the funds so I can get $50000 to get through this current crisis.

every person ive ever suggested to that going through your partners phone not only invades their privacy but also the privacy of all the people who have possibly texted very personal things to them have acted like they genuinely never thought of that before
Going to the mall as I am now (kinda punky/extremely autistic) is kinda funny like. That's a nice shirt. However, it's not one of my thousand beloved black graphic t shirts and it is such a texture and kind of a weird shape to it and honestly I don't really wanna buy any sort of fast fashion type shit or brand shit. Don't care. Oh they have patches. Kinda cute but straight up I can just make those. In fact, I would prefer to. Don't care. Also I'm not buying that.
Info dump, share if you want or rephrase, etc: Up until today, Iโve been hearing suggestions that people who have changed/are changing their names and gender markers apply for as many official documents as they can esp if theyโre in a friendly state. As of the 22nd, it appears that has changed with respect to passport applications, where the Colorado Name Change project is now reporting nationwide officials have been instructed to deny passports and confiscate supporting documents (I.e corrected birth certificates, SSID, etc). Which is to say DO NOT SEND IN YOUR PASSPORT OR OTHER CORRECTED DOCUMENTS FOR A PASSPORT UPDATE REQUEST in the US. However, currently issued documents are not currently expected to be retroactively withdrawn so if you have a corrected passport HANG ONTO IT.
solid information, I'll rally the punks.

PUNK PSA:
Please donโt put anything too political on your back patchesโ especially about your own marginalized experiences.
This has been a long standing rule in punk communities, passed down for generations. People do get jumped and experience violence as a result of this. You canโt see who is behind you, you canโt tell if theyโre far right, and you canโt prepare yourself for sudden violence from behind.
So many people are new to the scene, introduced via social media, and donโt know the weight of walking with something on your back (literally and metaphorically) that immediately outs you as marginalized. If youโre able to defend yourself, or out with friends who can watch your back, by all means go for it and wear whatever you want on your back patches but if you walk alone at all ever, please be safe.
Also this is why punks wear spikes and studs on our shoulders especially. Makes it harder for someone to grab you and works as self defense (but also never wear spikes at a small show or if you plan to moshโ people can get hurt!).
