I love vampire au's so much, but then I think about them with pairings like superbat and timkon and damijon they just... don't work???? Like the most delicious thing in vampire au's is when vampire (someone from batfamily usually) character drinks blood from their non-vampire partner. this but nico IS beautiful. he is. but also eerie and scary, and that’s kinda what makes him so beautiful. espically to the people who can see it and aren’t ACTIVLEY hating on him.

i love that canon nico's appearance is described as unnerving. percy says he has a glint in his eyes that makes you think he's either a genius or a madman. people comment about how his presence is eerie and how he just seems to show up, like a specter. his smile is said to be more unsettling than his scowl. pretty privilege nico is a fun hc but i just love the idea that he looks like some eldritch being at his worst and a sopping run-over black cat at his best.

i love it when nico is smart because in my head he has a ton of random knowledge on a lot of things/topics and loves to talk to ghosts so he needs to know at least the basics of at least a few languages and it also is a way for him to learn stuff (the ghosts like to talk about the stuff they were interested in, or just their life- which nico likes to keep as stories) idk i just like it when he is smart, but also still a dumbass lmao

he also first bought the skull ring for Bianca to fiddle with because of ADHD, now he fiddles with it

he doesn’t have a full Italian accent because he knows so many languages, his accent is more like a mix of everything he knows but the Italian is more prominent than the other accents (the accent is unique and cute)

Nico once looked at one of Percy’s college assignments when he (spontaneously) shadow traveled to his room (out of boredom) and helped him with the assignment, he corrected Annabeth’s math once and everyone was so shocked

Nico and Leo can get along really well because Nico is always cold and Leo is always hot so they have cuddle sessions and ramble at each other about machines Leo could make (Nico helps out with the building process sometimes but hates getting blown up so he brainstorms things for Leo to build)

but yeah, i love that movie. i was trying to think of a good unsername but couldn’t and then i thought of this one and it i was just “good enough”

this but nico also is still a little fucked up. maybe something else happens that sets it off (plus gives him all/most of his powers) or he’s JUST like that lmao. like he’s a smiles and laughs but in an insane way. and hella fucking dangerous. and it freaks everyone out bc he’s so innocent and happy looking while also having a vague aura of death around him and DOES kill. openly. and then jokes about it. he should also keep his goth/emo-ness just for funsies but less “my soul is as dark as my jeans” and more “death and the grotesque are really beautiful actually”. idk just nico who is happy and smiley but also dangerous as fuck, and has EXTENSIVE knowledge and connections (because of his sweat hearted-ness). this is very similar to what i imagine a healed! nico would be like too btw

i have no idea how you would do this but i think an AU where Bianca lives and thus Nico doesn't have the sharp angsty nose dive would be very fun. What if Nico was just. still a mildly annoying nerd throughout the rest of the series. Nico but he keeps talking about mythomagic while following everyone into the labyrinth against their will.
