Isaac had never been one to be very affectionate, he was a very busy man with work and such. It would often only range from small hugs before he left for work to spooning while you both slept, it was never more than that. This however, it made you feel a little insecure, making your mental health slightly decrease.

You were alone at home, the house was empty. Isaac was working late and your thoughts were bearing down on you, chomping away at you. You were tired, your eye bags showing the extent of worry and stress you felt.

Your mental health had just been plumeting lately with thoughts of how Isaac may leave you. He knew you were often worried and over thought this. Due to your last and past relationships, he always tried to put things right between the two of you, never wanting you to feel left out or alone at all. He was there for you and wanted you to feel loved despite him not showing it very often.

You sighed, the sunset turning into a watercoloured scene, the colours blurred nicely into each other. Yet it felt so lonely. Your hands slowly slid up to your face and hid it, you then felt the warmth of tears burning your palms.

The scene was emotional to anyone who saw it while peering up at the window at you. The apartment was large and had large windows, allowing anyone outside to look up inside. You sighed and looked at your phone, Isaac hadn't messaged yet.

You stood up and wiped away your tears while you crouched and got a start on dinner. It would probably go cold before Isaac got back again. Yet.. you would still cook, the food hot in the pan while you made a simple recipe.

You didn't know if Isaac would even be coming home tonight. The thoughts were making you spiral and you soon became emotional, tears forming again as you cried. Your body slumped to the floor, spoon in hand and your arms still half folded on the counter. You looked so done.

You hadn't even noticed Isaac had walked through the door due to this. As soon as he saw you, his eyes widened and he quickly put down his things and came over. His hand pat your shoulder and he crouched to your level, his hands sliding to your face as he looked at you.

"Oh love.."

He sighed in a soft way, his large hands held your cheeks either side of your face, tracing your scars and such as you cried, your hands angrily and uncontrollably trying to push him away but he didn't care and pulled you in for a hug, he knew you needed it, as soon as he felt your body melt against his.

"I've got you.. I've got you shh shh shh.. Let me take care of you"

You had never felt him be so touchy, it made you almost calm immediately. Hands calmly touched you and lifted your body into his large, muscled arms. He sat down on the sofa and grabbed a blanket, wrapping you up and cuddling you. You let him do whatever he pleased at this point, you craved this comfort.

"Such a good pet for me. There you go, calm.."

He smiled softly and kissed your head, letting you rest in his lap. The rain outside gently hit the windows and added to the comfort, the tv quietly playing an animal documentary that both you and Isaac watched. His hands played with your hair while you came down from your meltdown, soft hair stayed in between his fingers as you both fell asleep.

The image of you both passed out and exhausted on the sofa would never not be cute or funny. Your face was red and teary, yet hidden in Isaacs chest your breath warm. Isaac meanwhile was holding your waist with one hand and one on the back of your head. Neither of you heard his phone ringing later that night. You both deserved this break and Isaac finally having time to touch you (he was most definitely ignoring the call)

Maybe you are made to be loved, you deserve this after everything.

"Not long, why are you worried about me?" Dontis teases with a smirk.

Xanthus scoffs, "No, you know the city so I'm sure you've mapped out the little hidey holes."

Dontis nods, "Yes I have. I'll let you know when I'm on the way back." He says as he grabs his bag.

You're sitting on the couch watching all of this unfold, Xanthus standing by the doorway as Dontis gathers his things. Fran had left a while ago to explore New Orleans, and Dontis is now leaving for a while, which means it would be just you two in the house.

Xanthus folds his arms.

"Hm. Be careful." Xanthus warns.

"When am I not?" Dontis says with a smile.

"If I listed them all now you'd be late for your appointment, and you seem...eager to leave." Xanthus questions.

Dontis chuckles. "Not to leave you but to see them, I have my own bonds to tend to."

"Hm, have fun then."

"You too~" Dontis says as he opens the door, turning back to you for a moment.

"Look after him okay?" Dontis jokes to you. You laugh gently.

"I will, don't worry." You joke back as Xanthus rolls his eyes sarcastically, smiling a little.

Dontis gives you one last smile before making his way out the door. Xanthus sighs as he makes his way over to you.

"Where has he gone too?" You ask.

"He's gone to see his hunter friend, and I doubt he's coming back soon." Xanthus says as he sits next to you on the couch.

"How come?"

"Because they think it will be the last time they see each other, and honestly I don't blame him for thinking that way." Xanthus sighs as he lets his head rest against the couch. "We're doing something that no one else has been foolish enough to do, well they have but were defeated without a soul to spread it. That means we're either brave or idiotic, or both." Xanthus shrugs.

"Well we'll have to see soon won't we?" You reply.

"Mhm, no matter what we are it'll all come to light soon. And in the mean time.." Xanthus shifts closer to you. "I'd like to tend to my bond, as Dontis puts it." He says as he strokes your face.

"Feeling a bit bold today are we?" You tease with a laugh.

Xanthus chuckles back, kissing your forehead. "Well, it has been a while since we've had some private time, especially with you doing so much research all the while. Ah, speaking of...how are you feeling, love?" Xanthus asks you.

You perk up about your feelings as Xanthus listens intently. After a while the conversation then turns into just talking about whatever, just appreciating each other's presence for a while.

However, you can't fail to notice how Xanthus was acting a bit...different. The constant shifting around, moving closer to you, the way his eyes lingered on your neck, looking at you like you were some sort of prey, and his tone just felt different. You shook it off, thinking it was just because it was the two of you in the house and he could let his guard down for a while. But when your eyes met the bulge between his legs, you knew exactly what he wanted from you. Your eyes went wide and you cut off what you were saying, starting to stutter.

You two had never done anything so...lewd. It never crossed your mind at all, only exchanging kisses and hugs. The only semi lewd thing you've done is when Xanthus was feeding on you, and his hand trailed a bit too much on your chest, touching places you didn't know were sensitive until then. But that was it, never going any further. So to see him be so needy in front of you now was...well quite arousing if you were being honest. The way his eyes lingered on you with that wanting expression made your body go warm.

You two stared at each other for a couple of seconds, before Xanthus sensed your want, looking at your lips. He moved closer to you and whispered.

You just nodded. He held your face gently and kissed you passionately, the kiss turning more needy as it carried on. Exchanging kisses, he put his hand behind your head and pushed you down gently, landing with a slight whine as he licks your bottom lip, asking for entrance as he strokes your face with one hand as he uses his other to support himself on top of you. You allow him in, his tongue battling with yours lovingly as he admires the noises you make. Sloppy kisses shared back and fourth, his hand trailing down your chest and perking at your nipples, gently trailing his hand over them, making you gasp into his mouth slightly. He smirked at this as he gets a reaction from you. He slowly starts to slip his hand under your shirt, toying with your nipples even more. The sudden contact made you break off the kiss and throw your head back, letting out a slight moan.

It depends on the context. If you mean kidnapping, then he would kill them. If the situation was such that Pickle's life wouldn't be threatened, then he would likely do a thorough background check on the person and frame them enough to land them in jail.

This is hard, because I’m really attached to most of these characters! But, if I have to choose, it would most definitely be Xanthus!

From the very beginning he has been a real one. He looked out for us when we were getting stalked by Yandere boy, he was there when Fran was about to put us on a shirt, and he was still there when went on that mission. He took care of us every step of the way, and loves us in all of our entirety.

He never tries to run away from his problems, either. And I think he has the most integrity out of every character of the Sakuverse. He has more than a few skeletons in his closet and makes sure he doesn’t run away from any of them. He doesn’t make excuses for his actions—like when he accidentally killed Audric’s entire family. Even when Dontis was trying to give him an out by saying, “You didn’t know”, or “It was an accident”, he wasn’t taking ANY of that. He made sure to be honest about every kill he’s ever made, and doesn’t forget them because “they’re engraved in him.” He doesn’t whine about how hard life is, or throws a pity party whenever he makes a fatal decision. He simply recognizes the repercussions that will come with the choice he’s going to make, and simply lives with it—and that’s so commendable.

He loves art, (which is amazing, because I’m an artist), and is just a reliable person overall! I do admit, that he can be a bit overboard when it comes to the whole ‘possessive’ aspect of his personality, but compared to him, humans are weak and their lives last as long as mayflies. He is possessive because he wants to make sure that he can spend every last moment with us, and I think that’s beautiful.

If I was ever in a bind, I know he’ll be there for me. :)

And I also know that he’ll look after my kin after I’m gone, too. Which I find even more endearing.

Isaac gave you a few different outfit options and left you to decide. You went for a red and black theme, it was just a no-brainer. 

Seeing yourself in the mirror was definitely… interesting. You hadn’t seen yourself like this in a while. Looking at yourself made you feel more confident and less anxious. 

You finished getting ready and went to the living room to meet Isaac before you two would leave. Your footsteps stopped when you saw him. You guys accidentally matched…

“I’m ready!” You said, smiling and spinning so he could see your outfit.
