Deconstructing gender is fine and all but people really aren't ready to start deconstructing sexuality with it. Sexual orientation is literally inherently based on gender if we are deconstructing the idea of gender then that's the next thing to go.
The same contradictions that are inherent to gender also apply to sexuality. Wdym a lesbian is so grossed out by the idea of muscles on a man but a muscular woman is different? not talking about the giblets or anything either just arms, back, broad shoulders, hands, these are all things that are (in a de-gendered world) genderless, just anatomy. Both men and women can have these features, why are they different based on the gender identity of the person with that anatomy? It's a contradiction that many people are not willing to accept (looking at people who still don't understand he/him lesbians), binary sexual orientations are just as much of a construction as gender is.

They're wanting to change the definition of water to see which water would qualify under the Clean Water Act...I wish I was making this up.
What this means, in layman's terms, is that not all water or wetlands would be under environmental protections, so some could legally be dumped in, scraped out of, or otherwise harmed.

Wildlife need their habitat. If the ESA redefines harm so that habitat is no longer protected, the implications for wildlife would be catastrophic.

I've noticed that when people don't know I'm intersex and think I'm just a regular cis guy, they will almost never use such language for me, even if they hate my guts. That changes the second they learn I'm intersex + have some "female" sex traits (uterus, & breasts notably), or if they believe I'm a trans man.
It is 100% targeted. You aren't overreacting.

I'm an RA (resident assistant, basically making sure people living on my floor of the dorm are safe) on a college campus, and during one of my most recent meetings, we discussed what to do if I.C.E comes to the dorms asking for a student. This is unreal. This meeting was weeks ago and I still feel the same pain in my chest as when we first had to talk about it. I'm literally a 20 year old college student and I have to worry about what to do if I.C.E asks for one of my residents, many of which are international students. Plus, that same week, I.C.E was at one of the nearby highschools.
I don't know what more to say other than please be aware of how serious this really is. Please engage with your community and do what you can to protect them if possible.
Hey, I feel like everyone should be aware that teachers in the U.S. are being taught how to deal with when I.C.E comes into their classrooms looking for undocumented immigrants (students aka children). I.C.E officers are allowed to detain teachers if they believe they are protecting students. This is actual dystopian shit. Putting children on planes without their parents and dropping them off at an airport in a probably unsafe country where they have little to no connections is inhumane! Everyone should be appalled!

Reminder the majority of that will be for building new detention centers.
Reminder ICE are *currently* detaining tourists who can pay for a plane ticket home and people with visa issues that were already resolved, because they have to make quota so Trump can brag about the numbers going up.
Reminder most of these people were already in the immigration system - that's why they were easy to detain.
