Eli: Basic is a difficult language. It can be understood through tough thorough thought, though.
Thrawn: Please stop
Imperial!Ezra ends up on the ISD Chimaera, found family with dads/mentors Eli Vanto and Thrawn.
I just watched The Honorable Ones, I now understand where Kalluzeb came from.

Books Thrawn: Refuses to take art even when it's offered to him.
I had a daydream that Thrawn got thrust back into the Acendancy and they have a punishment for murderers. Two cuts on his cheeks (like Indigo Montoya). They marked him and whipped him. And then my mind went wild, and they stripped him of his family name, honorifics, and status with ways to earn them back after paying penance.
But the sad part was that he believed that he deserved it.
i had a dream that tim z released like an âextended versionâ of lesser evil that featured a handful of extra chapters at the end. the dream was so vivid that my first thought upon waking up was âomg i canât wait to finally read that!â
the extended content was pretty dark and heartbreaking. apparently there was more to thrawnâs punishment than just exile: he was to be publicly tortured - not to death, but still. something akin to being tied to a cross for three days. his allies suggested he should run, but itâs thrawn, so he surrendered willingly. the other things i remember are more fragmented - a scene with a forest and a lake, a dam in that lake; thrawn underwater, struggling to swim upwards.
in the dream i also drew this fanart of thrawn holding cheâri who is clinging to him, so of course i decided to recreate it (i love drawing things that come to me in a dream. it makes me feel powerful.) something scary was supposed to happen to cheâri though i donât know what, and in the epilogue she was shown many years later, married and with kids, and still remembering thrawn and honoring his legacy.
iâm glad it was just a dream because it was very much grim and dark, but if it was real it would be an intriguing thing to read. anyway iâve literally been thinking about this dream all day so i hope yall enjoy this little art and what my thrawn obsessed brain has produced in my sleep.
Just thinking about how horrified Thrass would become at what Thrawn turns into during the empire.
Thrawn wouldnât understand it, thinking that his brother would be glad to join him... to become a family again.
"We served the same purpose in the Ascendancy," Thrawn told him, "We could do so again."
"This isn't what we served," Thrass would say, "This isn't who we are."
"It doesn't matter," Thrawn would reply, "We are the same, just as we were before-"
"I don't want to be like you!"
Thrawn's face turned grave, almost unrecognizable to the brother that only knew his kindness.
"That," Thrawn said finally, "Is your mistake... brother."
Hey do you guys think Thrawn even has a clear memory of what Thrass's face looked like. You know. Considering the time it's been since Thrass died.
I've been imaging this all day...seeing it written out made me cry.
âThalias,â Thrawn rasped, after a while. âSamakro. Itâs nice to see you again.â
The shorter Chiss opened her mouth to reply in kind, but her companion was faster.
âOh, really?â he sniped, lip curling in obvious disdain, sunlight glancing off of his piercings. âI didnât think we committed enough war crimes for you to feel truly at home here, isnât that why you fucked off to Lesser space?â
âSamakro!â the shorter Chiss - Thalias - hissed, elbowing her unrepentant companion.
âCan you not give him a break for five minutes? Heâs been- crawling about the wilderness, for who knows how long, and-â
âI donât know, Thalias, did he give the literal war crimes a fucking break at any point over the last few years?â
âI-â Thalias trailed off, biting her lip. âLook, you have a point, but just- lay off for a moment, please.â
âFine,â Samakro growled. âA moment. Then he gets whatâs been coming ever since he decided rampant war crimes were in. Fuck, I knew he was- unorthodox, but this- what heâs done, Thalias? Itâs unforgivable. Itâs fucking unforgivable.â
âI know,â Thalias said, soft as ever. âBut- please. Not now.â
âFine. But only-â and that was directed at Thrawn, moreso than Thalias- âbecause you asked. Because, fuck that guy.â
Ezra blinked at Samakro, and glanced back at Thrawn, whose face was as pinched as heâd ever seen it, and he suddenly became acutely aware that Thrawn was- upset?
No, that wasnât quite right, he was hurting. Who were these two people, this Samakro, this Thalias, that Thrawn held their opinions in such high regard?
Could someone please draw this for me?
In the droid production facility on Mokivj...
Padmé: Hey, be safe
Anakin: Always
Outside in the ship...
Che'ri sarcastically: Cart ran'bin'he'ar (be safe)
Thrawn laughing: Ch'ah csarcican't cart cseo ran'bin'he'ar (I'll be so safe)

I need him to face what he's done and feel regret, on some primal level. I need him to reconcile with himself. I need him to face reality, and choose the Acendancy. And become who he was before again, even if it's not an exact copy. I want my Thrawn back đ„ș
Not to have raw emotion in this Chiliâs tonight, but Iâm imagining Ezra getting taken to the Ascendancy and realizing that the cold, somewhat callous man who enabled Heraâs cold-blooded torture and presented him to a Sith Lord on a silver platter is...rather beloved, if controversial.
(Ezra is a Jediâhe does not let his anger consume him, but this time heâs resisting a mixture of that and confusion)
to be clear. Ezraâs feelings are absolutely valid in this scenario. He does not have to get cured of any dislike for Thrawn just by seeing how the Chiss heâs close to think of him. But itâs definitely something Iâd want any writer who takes this path in canon to consider.
bonus: the Chiss hearing Ezraâs (and very many imperials with them) testimony about Thrawnâs actions under the empire and *them* needing to reconcile that Thrawn, who, while a trigger-happy on preemptive strikes, generally cared, is the same person who theyâre hearing about committing cold military acts and nearly bombing a planet into submission.
I hope that this is the mindset that Thrawn continues to have in live action.
He may serve the Empire but he is still fiercely loyal to the Chiss people. I hope we see that.
Chiss Officer: How...how many children do you have, sir?
Ba'kif tiredly: Biologically, emotionally, or legally?
Ar'alani: How many kids do you have?
Thrawn: Biologically, emotionally, or legally?
OCC Thrawn, Thurfian redemption arc, random idea!
Snow drifted past them all, sticking to their shoes and hair. His nose stung with the prickle of cold, his shoulders ached, and his hands began to numb. But Eli did not notice as he looked up at the face of the former Grand Admiral who stood before him, his head bowed, hands clasped behind his back. His red eyes were closed as tears trickled down the planes of his face, and Thrawn was smiling. A feeling of relief settling in his bones.
A Chiss with a general air of distain and wariness moved forward, an embroidered cloak, a sun on each shoulder, secured with a golden tassel moved forward and into Thrawn's line of sight.
âExile.â
His eyes lifted up, tears still flowing freely.
âThurfian, Patriarch. You are the one who called for my exile. Rest assured that whatever lesson you wished to instill in me, I have learned tenfold. I wish only peace upon the Chiss. But I understand our ways.â He fell to his hands and knees. âBut please, if you are to kill me, shoot me now, so that I may not know a single more day away from Her.â Thrawn's finger curled around the snow beneath his palms, as if to soak up as much of the cold of his mother world as he could.
Thurfian, the Chiss, took a step back. His red eyes widening by a fraction. His head tilted to the others, military and political leaders alike, before turning his eyes once again to the Chiss before him. His shoulders slumped.
âMitthârawânuruodo âŠâ he stopped, and took a breath, he squared his shoulders, âMy brother, you will not die today.â Thurfian unclipped the cloak from his shoulders andâŠand placed it on Thrawnâs.
âWelcome home, Mitthârawânuruodo. Welcome back to Csilla.â
Imagine Thrawn:
You are my flag, Y/N. You are my nation.
Suddenly remembered that Thrawn went from cadet to Grand Admiral in 12 years in a alien hating society. Icon.
Excerpt from The Last Command by Timothy Zahn (1993):
 âButâŠIt was so artistically done.â
Thrawnâs last line starts with the word âbut,â almost as if under normal circumstances he would be furious that his plans had unraveled so spectacularly and without him knowing it. Instead, he says âbut,â and he says it calmly, with a smile on his face. He canât be mad, because to him, his opponent beat him with the same level of attention he put into his plans. Because it was masterful and because even he could not have predicted the genius of turning the Noghri against him and then silently infiltrating Wayland.
The irony here is that our heroes actually didnât put that much thought into his defeat specifically. I would argue that Thrawnâs true opponent was Leia, as it was her skill in politics, negotiation and empathy that both turned the Noghri against Thrawn and got Mara Jade to reveal the location of Wayland. In a way, it was Leiaâs art that Thrawn didnât account for.
This line alone also makes me ask â what does Thrawn really care about? Looking only at Zahnâs Thrawn Trilogy and no other material, it is clear that Thrawn likes to win. He also likes to prove his worth, becoming one of the few high ranking, non-human imperial officials. But more than that, Thrawn loves art and psychology. He craves knowledge, surrounding himself by other culturesâ art in order to learn, to improve and to win.
So, did Thrawn really care about the Empire at all? What was his true motivation? There is little evidence in the trilogy to suggest that Thrawn cares a lot about ruling the galaxy or in reviving the Empire. In fact, Pellaeon even states at one point that Thrawn has created a new empire, different than the one before, with his ingenuity and proportional punishments for failure. So why is he doing it? Truthfully, I donât think this question really answered in the trilogy, leaving it up to the readers to decide. But from his last line as he dies, Iâd hazard to say Thrawn doesnât care about the empire or superiority or anything of the sort. He cares only about the art of war. To him, war is a chessboard, a game for him to play. Sure, he loves to win but he can appreciate when he loses. And that is why he canât be mad at his defeat. Because it was so artistically done.
What do you mean incorrect? This is every conversation they've had ever.
Thrawn: Letâs talk solutions. How do we deal with this potential alien threat?
Ar'alani: Unfortunately, it appears that we donât have any legal recourse.
Thrawn: We donât have any⊠âlegalâ recourse.
Ar'alani: No ThrawnâŠ
Just a thought:
It's not Cody or Kote, it's KotĂ© (kĆt-ĂŠ).
...
No one ever said that the Mando'a to Basic pronunciations/spellings we have are exact, it's not a far fetch if when writing his name Koté, a Mando'a word, in Aurebesh liberties are taken on account of Aurebesh not having accent marks.
As to everyone calling him Cody, most Jedi and everyday citizens wouldn't know Mando'a, it would be like how English speakers used to (and still do to an extent) change names for easier pronunciation. Miguel = Michael, Yeshua = Joshua, PiĂšrre = Peter. It's not that far of a stretch.
*None of this has any connection to canon like at all.
I love this.
Off the wall au:
Senator of Naboo Padme Amidala, Ambassador of Tatooine Anakin Skywalker, and Viceroy of Stewjon Obi-Wan Kenobi all argue over the custody of Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano.
Her teacher, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, is just trying to figure out which one of them assassinated the Chancellor.
Cue diplomatic senate shenanigans interspersed with attempted interrogations and a very dead Sheev Palpatine.
Echo really was the mom in the group. He went off for a well deserved vacation and the group falls apart. Dads fighting to keep everyone happy. Kids are bickering. Someone stole the car and for some reason shits blowing up!!
I decided to give myself a profile pic on here and it feels like I just made a lifelong commitment.
Did I just sell my soul?
Either that or my grandmother's death, same amount of trauma.
Everytime I need to fake cry I think about Fives screaming for Echo at the Citadel.

Breaking down the walls Crosshair has built and melting his heart would be such a slow burn. You'd first just have to learn to enjoy each other's silence - comfortable silence. Not awkward at all, just existing with each other. He's not a talkative guy, and doesn't like being pressured into conversation. But flashing him a little smile across the room will do more than words ever could.
Then you start doing quiet little things for each other. He's out of toothpicks? A new box mysteriously appears. You're sick today? He's convinced his brothers to be as quiet as possible to let you sleep. Hate taking out the trash? It's already been done, even though it's your turn to do it. He's noticeably tired today? you've made a new pot of caf, what a coincidence!
Then it's little touches - a brush of your fingers against his as he hands you tools for repairs. A light tap on his arm to wake him from a nap. Your knees touch as you sit next to each other around a bonfire. Crosshair isn't a touchy-feely guy, but subtle, gentle physical contact makes him feel warm and tingly. The first time you are hurt during a mission, he wordlessly bandages your hand for you. Glancing up every so often to make sure he's being gentle enough. Once he finishes up, he holds onto your hand a little longer than necessary.
When you wake up shaking and sobbing from a nightmare, he hears you. He makes his way over to your bunk and has one word for you: "Scoot." He's warm, and you feel safe again. His brothers find the two of you cuddled up together in the morning, but they don't say anything - they just share some knowing grins. They always knew you and Crosshair were a perfect match.
Your first kiss is barely even a big deal because it was so natural. You're both so obviously comfortable with each other that everyone kind of thought you were already dating. He kisses your temple when saying goodnight, you kiss his cheek when he brings you caf. Your lips would find each other's eventually, and after that, very frequently.
Crosshair wouldn't ask you to be his official partner - it's just a given. If anyone asks, you're "together." He's still got a fear of being abandoned, and doesn't want to put a label on it. In his mind, it'll hurt less if he ruins something that doesn't exist. But one day, after years of sweet silence, gentle touches, softly kissing, and making love, you overhear him refer to you as his wife. And you know that his heart is yours forever.
Thank you to everyone who got me to 1000 likes!
Omg yay this is so cool.
Crosshair: Iâm gonna need a human skull and I can't have you ask any questions why.
Tech: Only if you also don't ask why
Tech: *Pulls out 7 pristine human skulls* Take your pick.
Crosshair:

Crosshair: This one is fine.

I was talking about Prime and as I mentioned the books by Alexander Irvine đ
Everyone: "What if Megatron and Optimus Prime were bitter exes! Haha haha hahaha"
Me *having read the books by Irvine": They...they are. They literally are.
They were leading a revolution with together, theywent on dates through the Pits and Iacon, and it got to the point that they couldn't differentiate whose ideas were whose anymore. And they only fell apart because Megatron is easily jealous...and not the one with the brains in this relationship, okay.
HELP ME FIGURE THIS OUT!
For a long time my tag for most sites has been Aroa'yr Shuk, and I've run into a little problem.
I was trying to remember what it meant as I only have a slight memory of making it, I know for a fact that shuk means tear, but I can't find the meaning of aroa'yr, I know that I didn't make it up (if I had it would of been closer to "aroy'a") but I also can't find any proof of that the word exists beyond a thing on swgoh.gg called "Imperio Mandaloriano Aroa'yr" so I know that the word at least exists.
And I put it through Google Translate and it's not a real life language.
So can someone tell me if I just made this up? If Mando'a has changed? If it's from another Star Wars language?
Please help me...
