This was the first slide of my class lecture tonight and I think it sums up the college experience pretty well

I don't actually own any animation software, so this was all done in Unity using a combination of 2D rigging (pearls, iterator body) and using basic C# code to script in certain effects (the spinning halo). I was careful to make everything loop on the 2-second mark, and then opened a running window of my "game," screen-recorded it, cropped the boundaries of the screen recording, and then converted a 2-second slice to a gif.

There’s been a bunch of snow and freezing rain lately, so I drew something fitting for the occasion.

Chris is the hero character in Purity Town -- he’s from a fishing village in a warm coastal area, so he’s never seen snow before.

imagine your pompous self-important ass of a colleague finally fumbles it with the goddess of magic, he goes into isolation for two years, is stripped of most his magic, and youre revelling in the schadenfreude, only for him to show up with a baddie hanging off his arm, skin glowing, a stable job, a hero of baldur's gate, a new, humble(r), #blessed 🙏 attitude, and a wedding invite. id chew off my arm.
