ES|| Ya estamos casi a medianos de setiembre, dentro de nada ya será otoño… Siempre lo digo, pero el tiempo vuela! Cómo cambia el paisaje urbano! Los más pequeñitos ya han empezado la nueva aventura que es empezar el año escolar y, según qué hora de día, se puede ver montones de niños y niñas que con sus mochilitas de colores se dirigen a descubrir miles de cosas junto a nuevos compañeros o amigos de siempre. Estos animalitos empiezan con buen pie y ya se van de campamentos, cargados con mochilas y maletas, todos en su sitio, con el cinturón puesto, mirando las maravillas que aparecen entre los árboles (menos el frailecillo que va volando siguiendo a sus amigos y solo se posa a descansar. Ah! Y el hipopótamo que conduce sin distraerse ni un poquito!)🌙

EN|| We are almost in mid-September, soon enough it will be autumn ... I always say it, but time flies! The little ones have already begun the new adventure that is starting the school year and, depending on the time of day, you can see lots of kids with their colorful backpacks heading out to discover thousands of things along with new colleagues or old friends. These little animals are off to a good start, they’re already going camping, loaded with backpacks and suitcases, all in their place, with their seat belts on, looking at the wonders hidden between the trees (except for the puffin that flies following its friends and only settles down to rest. Oh! And the hippopotamus who drives without being distracted even a little bit!)🌙

ES|| Hay muchísimos tipos diferentes de amor y este cartero está preparado para repartir todo tipo de cartas a todo tipo de destinatarios! Siempre me ha parecido un poco absurdo fijar un solo día para celebrar el amor, y menos si se trata de uno estándar con unos roles predeterminados, con mucho consumismo y con poco sentimiento. El amor, de todo tipo en su infinidad de formas (¡Ah eso sí, todos menos los que son tóxicos!), tendría que celebrarse todos los días del año, ya sea el amor por la familia, el amor por una o varias parejas, el amor por los amigos, por los animales de compañía, por el planeta tierra, por el arte o, el que le gusta más a este conejito trabajador, el amor más importante de todos (y a veces el más difícil) el amor a uno mismo, siempre sin caer en el egocentrismo. Así que ya sabéis celebrad el amor todos los días! ♥️

EN|| There are many different kinds of love and this postbunny is prepared to deliver all types of letters to all types of recipients! To me it has always seemed a little absurd to set a single day to celebrate love, and even more so if it’s a standard love with predetermined roles, a lot of consumerism and little feeling. Love, of all types in its infinite forms (Oh yes, all except the toxic ones!), should be celebrated every day of the year, whether if it’s love for family, love for one or more partners, the love for friends, for pets, for the planet Earth, for art or, the one this hard-working bunny likes the most, the most important form of love (and sometimes the most difficult) the love for oneself, always without falling into egocentrism. So go and celebrate love every day!! ♥️

September. Montessori Calendar 2022.

ES|| He hecho una nueva versión del caracolito enamorado. Hace muchísimo tiempo que tenia el esbozo y el apunte de color hecho en procreate y también realice una versión de la misma ilustración en formato vertical para la exposición de postales de @gallerynucleus . Además tengo pendiente una nueva versión donde quiero experimentar con mucho más gouache y menos acuarela! 🐌 En las imágenes podéis ver el resultado final, el primer paso con solo una capa de acuarela y gouache para el azul del fondo, y el esbozo. Por cierto recordad que si queréis tener o regalar una de las postales de la exposición aun las tenéis disponibles en la tienda online de la galería! EN|| I’ve made a new version of the little snail in love. It's been a long time since I had the sketch and the color tests made in procreate and I also made a version of the same illustration in a vertical format for the power in numbers exhibition at @gallerynucleus . I also have a new version pending where I want to experiment more with gouache and use less watercolor!🐌 In the images you can see the final result, the first step with just a layer of watercolor and gouache for the blue in the background, and the sketch. By the way, remember that if you want to have or gift one of the postcards from the exhibition, you still have them available in the gallery's online store!

ENG || One of the things I miss the most these days is nature. Although I’ve my little plants on the balcony, they pale in comparison to the green fields full of flowers and bees. I’ve to admit that, every day, one of the moments that make me smile is when I see a neighbor's cat sharing a hobby with me: observe the birds while they eat medlars of a street’s tree. What a pity that this past week they have finished them all! Now I’ll only be able to read about them, draw and dream them ... ESP || Una de las cosas que más echo de menos estos días es la naturaleza. Aunque tengo mis plantitas en la terraza, estas palidecen en comparación con los campos verdes llenos de flores y abejas. Tengo que reconocer que, cada día ,uno de los momentos que me sacan una sonrisa es cuando veo al gato de unos vecinos compartiendo una afición conmigo: observar los pájaros que se comen los nísperos de un árbol de la calle. Que lástima que esta pasada semana se los hayan terminado absolutamente todos! Ahora solo me quedará leer sobre ellos, dibujarlos y soñarlos... CAT || Una de les coses que més trobo a faltar aquests dies és la natura. Tot i que tinc les meves plantetes a la terrassa, aquestes no són res en comparació amb els camps verds plens de flors i abelles. He de reconèixer que, cada dia, un dels moments que em treuen un somriure és quan veig el gat d'uns veïns compartint una afició amb mi: observar els ocells que es mengen les nespres d'un arbre del carrer. Quina llàstima que aquesta setmana passada se'ls hagin acabat absolutament tots! Ara només em queda llegir sobre ells, dibuixar-los i somiar-los ... ESP || Hace unos años hice una ilustración divertida sobre esas ganas ansiosas de comerse cualquier cosa: la gula. Estos días de confinamiento, con tanta gente haciendo pasteles, madalenas, pizzas, panes i mil cosas mas, no puedo parar de pensar en ella. A mi me encanta cocinar y sobre todo hacer pasteles, especialmente si son de chocolate: no solo están buenos y es un placer comerlos sino que siento que hacerlos es algo terapéutico, un break de la rutina. Además yo que no soy de mucho azúcar me chifla poder hacerlos a mi gusto, es decir con más chocolate y menos azúcar! Vosotros estáis aprovechando estos días para descubrir la cocina? 🍪🍒🍫

ENG || A few years ago I made a funny illustration about that anxious feeling of desire to eat anything: the gluttony. These days of confinement, with so many people making cakes, muffins, pizzas, breads and many other things, I can't stop thinking about that illustration. I love to cook and especially to make cakes, even more if they are made of chocolate: they not only taste good and it’s a pleasure to eat them, but for me I feel that making them is something therapeutic, a break from the routine of every day. Also, I don’t like very sugary thing, so doing it myself I can make them to my liking, with more chocolate and less sugar! Are you taking advantage of these days to rediscover the kitchen? 🍪🍒🍫

CAT || Fa uns anys vaig fer una divertida il·lustració sobre aquell sentiment ansiós de ganes de menjar qualsevol cosa: la gola. Aquests dies de confinament, amb tanta gent fent pastissos, magdalenes, pizzes, pans i moltes altres coses, no puc deixar de pensar en aquesta il·lustració. M’encanta cuinar i sobretot fer pastissos, encara més si estan fets de xocolata: no només estan bons i és un plaer menjar-los, sinó que sento que fer-los és quelcom terapèutic, un break de la rutina de tots els dies. A més jo que no sóc de molt de sucre em torna boija poder fer-los al meu gust, és a dir amb més xocolata i menys sucre! Vosaltres esteu aprofitant aquests dies per descobrir la cuina? 🍪🍒🍫
