ES|| ¿Cuál os gusta más, con línea negra o con las líneas de colores? Segundo helado de la serie de heladitos sonrientes. Da la casualidad que también es mi segundo favorito. Me gusta el contraste de formas y sabores de las tres bolas. ¿Qué sabores creéis que son? Yo me he imaginado una bola de chocolate blanco con “lacasitos”, una de fresa con virutas rosas y la última, por imaginar sabores, pistacho con trocitos de chocolate negro (aunque por la paleta de colores que he estado usando parece más una bola de menta con chocolate). En esta ocasión, además de las dos versiones, también os enseño el esbozo con la paleta de colores CMYK (ha sido la misma para toda la serie de ilustraciones). Aunque veréis que hay colores que al final he acabado descartando y de alguno he utilizado algún tono más oscuro para las sombras.🍦🍫🍓

EN|| Black line or colored lines? What do you think, which one do you like more? Second ice cream in the series of happy ice creams. It just so happens to be that it's also my second favorite. I like the contrast of shapes and flavors. What flavors do you think they are? I have imagined a scoop of white chocolate with "lacasitos", one of strawberry with pink sprinkles and the last, to imagine flavors, pistachio with pieces of dark chocolate (although due to the color palette I’ve been using it looks more like a ball of Mint with chunks of chocolate). On this occasion, in addition to the two versions, you also can see the sketch with the CMYK color palette (it has been the same for the entire series of illustrations). Although you’ll see that there are colors that I ended up discarding and some of them I used a darker tone to make some shadows.🍦🍫🍓

ESP|| No sé si soy yo o el tiempo esta un poco loco, un día voy en tirantes i pantalones cortos y el otro voy más abrigada que este dinosaurio! Diría que ya podemos guardar las bufandas en el armario hasta el año que viene pero no lo tengo tan claro… ❄️☀️🌜 Os gusta este personajillo? Lleva escondido des de principios de año, a diferencia de mi, ella ve que nieva y no piensa en hibernación, si no que coge su patinete y sale a intentar ser mas veloz que el viento! ESP || Hace unos años hice una ilustración divertida sobre esas ganas ansiosas de comerse cualquier cosa: la gula. Estos días de confinamiento, con tanta gente haciendo pasteles, madalenas, pizzas, panes i mil cosas mas, no puedo parar de pensar en ella. A mi me encanta cocinar y sobre todo hacer pasteles, especialmente si son de chocolate: no solo están buenos y es un placer comerlos sino que siento que hacerlos es algo terapéutico, un break de la rutina. Además yo que no soy de mucho azúcar me chifla poder hacerlos a mi gusto, es decir con más chocolate y menos azúcar! Vosotros estáis aprovechando estos días para descubrir la cocina? 🍪🍒🍫

ENG || A few years ago I made a funny illustration about that anxious feeling of desire to eat anything: the gluttony. These days of confinement, with so many people making cakes, muffins, pizzas, breads and many other things, I can't stop thinking about that illustration. I love to cook and especially to make cakes, even more if they are made of chocolate: they not only taste good and it’s a pleasure to eat them, but for me I feel that making them is something therapeutic, a break from the routine of every day. Also, I don’t like very sugary thing, so doing it myself I can make them to my liking, with more chocolate and less sugar! Are you taking advantage of these days to rediscover the kitchen? 🍪🍒🍫

CAT || Fa uns anys vaig fer una divertida il·lustració sobre aquell sentiment ansiós de ganes de menjar qualsevol cosa: la gola. Aquests dies de confinament, amb tanta gent fent pastissos, magdalenes, pizzes, pans i moltes altres coses, no puc deixar de pensar en aquesta il·lustració. M’encanta cuinar i sobretot fer pastissos, encara més si estan fets de xocolata: no només estan bons i és un plaer menjar-los, sinó que sento que fer-los és quelcom terapèutic, un break de la rutina de tots els dies. A més jo que no sóc de molt de sucre em torna boija poder fer-los al meu gust, és a dir amb més xocolata i menys sucre! Vosaltres esteu aprofitant aquests dies per descobrir la cuina? 🍪🍒🍫

EN|| Sharks are one of the most endangered animals on planet Earth, it’s estimated that in the last 50 years their population has been reduced by 70%. There’re 17 different species of shark in danger of extinction, like this one in the illustration, the Carcharias Taurus. This problem is especially significant in the Atlantic where fishing fleets can deploy 1,200 km of fishing lines with 28,000 hooks where all kinds of animals are trapped, especially sharks. Furthermore there’s also the indiscriminate fishing of the babys, which, taking into account that most shark species are characterized by having a low reproductive rate, a slow growth rate and late sexual maturation, makes it impossible for sharks to overcome their population decline, making them very susceptible to overfishing. On the other hand, climate change also affects sharks, the water temperature is increasing, the oxygen content of the water is decreasing, especially in coastal areas, and the waters are becoming more acidic. One of the main reasons why protection measures have not been put in place for these species is because the shark meat market has many economic interests, since it’s used for cosmetics, nutrition products and food. Sharks, due to their importance in the food chain, play a fundamental role in the sustainability of marine life and in the ability of these ecosystems to mitigate and adapt to climate change. ES|| Los tiburones son uno de los animales más amenazados del planeta Tierra, se calcula que en los últimos 50 años su población se ha reducido un 70%. Hay 17 especies distintas de tiburón en peligro de extinción, como este de la ilustración, el Carcharias Taurus, también llamado tiburón Toro o “Solraig clapejat” en catalán. Este problema es especialmente significativo en el Atlántico donde la flotas pesqueras pueden llegar a desplegar 1.200 km de líneas de pesca con 28.000 anzuelos donde quedan atrapados todo tipo de animales, sobretodo tiburones. A todo esto se le añade la pesca indiscriminada de crías, que teniendo en cuenta que la mayoría de especies de tiburón se caracterizan por tener una baja reproductividad, una tasa de crecimiento lenta y una maduración sexual tardía, hace imposible que los tiburones se sobrepongan al declive de su población haciéndolos muy susceptibles a la sobrepesca. Por otro lado el cambio climático también afecta a los tiburones, la temperatura del agua esta aumentando, el contenido de oxigeno del agua esta disminuyendo sobretodo en las zonas costeras y las aguas se están acidificando. Uno de los principales motivos por los que no se han creado medidas de protección para estas especies es porque el mercado de la carne de tiburón mueve muchos intereses económicos, ya que se usa para cosméticos, productos de nutrición y para alimentación. Los tiburones, debido a su importancia en la cadena trófica, tienen un papel fundamental en la sostenibilidad de la vida marina y en la capacidad de estos ecosistemas para mitigar y adaptarse al cambio climático.
