girl, if you want to try pilates then let me know. i have this adorable studio that i go to and the ladies who teach it are the best. they snatched my waist so quick. exactly. i don't know what's going on, but if you need someone to vent to then i'm here. odds are i've probably been in the same boat as you, so we can swap war stories.
i think i should try pilates because i have been seeing people's results and they look fantastic. yeah i've been eating and drinking them today, but tomorrow it's back to the gym and working on my businesses. can't let one thing stop me from working on what i love.
that's unfortunate. i can't believe there is another bug eyed, big lipped baddie out there. and here i thought i was one of a kind. i did hear that there were doppelgängers of ourselves out there in the world, but this is the first time i've heard about one for myself.
Spotted someone this morning who looked uncannily like you. Had me doing a full double-take mid-coffee. Either you've got a lookalike roaming London or I've hit that age where reality starts playing tricks (which is ridiculously likely). ( @alyvas )
oh my gosh, he lives. i was about to send out an sos signal to find you. oh trust me, i know it's been a hot minute. if you hated me all you had to do was say so, teller. just let a girl down easy next time. i kid, i kid. i'm currently not working at the moment. i went back home to do a little bit of work things, and then i spent some much needed time at my parents house. so i guess that counts as a jealousy-inducing vacation? that's gross. when do you have some time off coming up?
sup, debnam-carey. it's been a hot minute since we've chatted but i'm about to fix that and come talk your ear off the next time we're in the same room. are you working right now or are you taking another jealousy-inducing vacation? tell me all about it, i'm still stuck at work for another few weeks and no fun time off has made me a boring boy. / @alyvas
as much as i wish you could speak on all the juicy details, i understand why you can't. i think that's the hardest part about this business. you want to tell the world about all the exciting things you are working on, but you can't. i can't wait to find out all the juicy things coming this season, though, so as soon as you can spill the beans be sure to let me be the first to know. thank you! landing godzilla was a surprise, but one i am so excited to get started on. been a fan of the series since i was a kid. i promise to tell you all about it. maybe even convince you to take a girls trip with me so we can experience it together. i'd need someone there who was familiar with it. it's sort of become a tradition at this point. it's my little gift to myself.
you know i get it, in fact — i love it and all i'm hearing and wish i could even speak on. i think that's what makes it hard, you can't say anything as much as you might like. more is coming though — promise. aww, thanks, babe, and i can say the same for you! seems every time i look, you're on another project and so love it for you. yes, you so should, i had the best time and whenever you go, tell me all about it okay? could always do that for it, unless you get another idea. either way, hope you have the best time for that. a birthday trip sounds so nice and i always try to do one myself.
i would hope so. then again it took the longest time for me to convince my dad to get rid of his iphone 5. he was stuck to that thing like glue. this is why you are among one of the very few artist in this world who deserve to be famous. you care about everyone above the money and the ticket sales, and it definitely shows. i wish there was a way to group everyone into the same room. i know people wouldn't mind standing shoulder to shoulder for a chance to watch you perform. stop— you are so cute! to have a hug from the legend herself would cure all of my seasonal depression. that is so kind of you. i would definitely love to bring her along, and i'm sure she'd more than thankful to be anywhere. she's not a hard woman to please, even if she does hate crowds. i knew you were cool, and the fact that you love jazz and blues just cements that. i grew up on it too, mainly because of my dad, so he'd be pretty excited to know that others feel the same way. he's convinced that old school is dead, but it's very much alive, and you can see it in a lot of newer music these days. wait until he finds out you know of his band. my apologies in advance if he tries to persuade you to let them open for you. tell me about it. the 80's was such a great era, and i'm so sad i wasn't born during that time.
Thankfully, I think most of us are beyond the age of 3G in the so-called free world. It's hard to say what is and isn't happening beyond closed doors, what with the amount of NDAs that we all have to sign, but hopefully we'll turn a corner where people feel they're being treated more fairly in the ticket queue. I wish I could fit all of my little monsters into the one room, arena, stadium – whatever. !!!!! Oh my goodness, that's so exciting. Let me know if it happens and we can finally hug in person and you can let me know if the show lives up to the hype. If your mom isn't big on crowds, we can definitely make sure you're in a non-crowded area, lovely. Blues! I love it, and I love old school. A lot of people don't believe that but I grew up loving jazz, myself, although really I loved all music. Oh, Cosmic Spice? What a great name. You know, I think the '80s might have been our best era of music. I can't wait to meet him! All of them, honestly.
alycia: it's good that you do, otherwise i'd have to find another and i'm not sure i could find someone as qualified as you. well when you put it like that how can i argue with that logic? i have to admit that those are some of my favorites as well, simply for the memories that are attached to them for that reason. alycia: i love that for us. photoshoot at some gorgeous, gothic places? yes please. maybe we can find some spooky places to explore as well. you know me and my thrilling need to find all the spookiest places. it's been a little too long for my liking. we gotta make sure this much time doesn't pass next time, because i'm realizing now just how much i miss you, and i don't want to have to miss you anymore than i have to.
Jamie: I love being your favorite muse, just throwing that out there. Oh god no, darling, those are my favorite photos of you. Why would I get rid of them? Those are where you look the most beautiful, if you ask me, or the ones where I'm the reason you're looking a mess. Those are my favorites. Jamie: I'm glad to help you have some fun then, love, and I'm sure we'll find some great places to explore too. This city has a ton of old, gothic places that are right up both our alleys. Oh, I knew you'd be sold once I told you about the balcony view. And don't worry, I've already thought about a few of those things we can do on that balcony as well. It has been a long time after all. 😉
life can be so silly at times, especially in this business. we can work multiple projects at a time and be so busy we can't remember what day it is, or we can go through dry spells where no work is coming in. i started this year off with no real work lined up with a future that was very unclear, but now i can proudly say that i'll finally hit the big screen in 2027 in the godzilla vs. kong sequel! it's currently unnamed and very much still in development, but i am so thankful for this blessing. let me hear some 2025 surprises you've all gotten. let's celebrate these wins together. @hfrpstarters
oh, it was definitely a waste of time. that's what happens when you follow a boy around only to have him ghost you right after. but it's his loss, not mine. i just think you are putting a lot of pressure on my shoulders here, but i guess if i've been deemed the bills good luck charm then i should proudly own that title. i'll do you one better, i'll actually go to a game this year. just send me the game dates and i'll try and attend as many of them as i can.
Come on, I bet it wasn't a waste of time. Where did you go? Listen, it's because I know you're going to help us win. It wasn't a fluke! It's going to happen again, trust me. We didn't really lose any games once you started to pay attention to the games last season, so if I tell you when they are will you pay attention to them this upcoming season too?
@alyvas
i think hitting the gym is such a healthy outlet for stress. i am in the best shape of my life at the moment because i've channeled all of my stress and anxiety into pilates. i think you should allow yourself to eat your feelings for day one, and then once it's over you find something that makes you feel good and you focus on that.
some things just never change and that’s me hitting the gym to solve all my problems. when kylie and i fell out i hit the gym and had one of the biggest transforms of my life. i know it didn’t really solve my problems but it helped me out. any suggestions i can do before i eat myself into a vanilla salted caramel ice cream coma? @hfrpstarters
there is a reason australia is home of some of the most deadliest creatures— and i don't just mean the animals. we're feisty. let's just hope i can actually put that level of fear into them when i give them a stern talking to. it's so sad when they turn something so beautiful into a cash grab. they started doing that with the walking dead universe, and after a while i knew i needed to walk away because the quality of the writing just wasn't there anymore. they just did enough to form some resemblance of a plot and tried to make it a gold mind. i hope marvel can get it together and the next film surpasses all the others. you deserve nothing but the best scripts. the day marvel actually notices me is the day hell will freeze over. i may never make it past netflix level stardom and i'm okay with that.
you know what, you’re absolutely spot on. aussie hell is the final boss of all hells — polite yet terrifying, delivered with a charming accent and a side-eye that could melt steel. if i were those execs, i’d be cancelling brunch plans and prepping apologies immediately. and yeah, it did feel like they were squeezing every last drop from the marvel juice box — and somewhere in the chaos, a bit of that heart went missing. i mean, i love being part of it, but even i can admit some of the films felt like they were made on autopilot. we need that spark back, you know? the real magic. don’t tempt me. don’t you dare tempt me. you’d steal the scene the moment you showed up — the internet would go feral. you say you don’t know if it’ll ever happen, but listen… if aussie hell can move mountains, maybe it can get you into the mcu too.
i have never been more frustrated that i'm not stateside at the moment. i left prague and went to the UK right after, but i'm always down for a little gossip session with you. we can pop out the ipad, pour us both a glass of wine, and have us a good ol' virtual hangout session.
Wait, are you still stateside? Because I need to hear this little gossip before you jet off to the UK. My movie wrapped, so I’m officially back home in L.A., reunited with my own bed and aggressively average coffee. If you’re around, let’s carve out time for a proper catch-up, you can tell me more about this special friend. I’ll bring the wine, you bring the tea (figuratively, unless it’s scandalous enough to require actual tea).
