Hello, I'm Ola, a graduate student from the faculty of science - Al-Azhar University in G@za P@lestine. I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. As you reading my message, myself and my family, “my mother, father, three sisters, and my little brother,” are trying to survive under all kinds of suffering including but not limited to fear, instability, and starvation, thirst, and poverty in northern G@za.

After 508 days of suffering, I am writing to you today with a heavy heart, in desperate need of your help. I can't describe how harsh the situation we are living in is. My family is suffering from the biting cold of winter, and we are facing a severe shortage of food and clothing. Every day feels like a lifetime, and every moment makes me feel helpless and hopeless. 💔

After the prices went up so crazy, I created this campaign to help my family provide food, water and essential needs. I know for sure that you can't help all families that want your help but at least you can help those who come across your life.

On this day, 12 June 2009, cleaning workers at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London working for the subcontractor ISS were called to an emergency “staff meeting,” which was actually an ambush by immigration officers. The cleaners, mostly members of public sector union UNISON, had been organising for some time for better pay and conditions, and had recently successfully achieved union recognition and the London living wage. At the bogus meeting, 40 UK Border Agency officials detained the workers, then handcuffed and took away nine of them, including one worker who was six months pregnant. Workers believe the raid was in retaliation for their organising activity. Some of the workers, like Rosa Perez from Nicaragua, were deported without even being given the required 72 hours notice. One union member was flown to Colombia just 48 hours after her arrest, in the same clothes, with just £0.75 in her pocket and dumped in Bogotá, hundreds of miles from her home town. Another of the workers reportedly suffered a heart attack during the ordeal and was denied medical attention – and not even given water. Despite the deportations, the other workers kept up their fight and after various strikes and occupations by students, in 2017 they achieved their goal of being taken back in-house to be employed directly by the university. And yes, even Penny got a redesign.  *mutters something about Penny only showing up in 2 episodes and is really just a minor character at best*

I may be too hopeful, but I’m hoping they get caught and are also charged with identity theft. Pretending to be my friend to hack others he knows and those who follow him… I’m heated.

What My Brother Mohammad and I Need After the Ceasefire:

1. Reuniting with My Family:

I want to travel to reunite with my 10-month-old daughter, whom I haven’t seen since the day she was born, and to be with my wife. This will cost me a lot, and I currently have nothing to cover these expenses.

2.Helping My Brother Mohammad Rebuild His Project:

My brother Mohammad wants to rebuild his small project to start a new life. He is injured and unable to work, so this project is his only way to earn a living.

3.Supporting My Brother’s Pregnant Wife:

Mohammad’s wife is in her last month of pregnancy and could give birth at any moment. She needs some financial support to cover the costs of childbirth and care for the baby.

4.Rebuilding Our Shelter:

We are displaced in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. After the ceasefire, we will need to return to our homes, but the Israeli occupation prevents us from taking our tents from the south to the north. This means we will need to build new tents to provide shelter for our families.

I hope this message reaches compassionate people who can support us in these difficult times.

can you PLEASE put your age in your about/sidebar and make sure it’s accessible on mobile. imo if you’re an adult esp 20+ it’s a little weird that you wouldn’t have your age readily available on your blog. if you’re reading this now and you don’t have your age listed, please rectify that. i feel like teenagers get lured into talking to adults in fandom/lgbt spaces that they may not have intentionally sought out because they think they’re talking to other teenagers, and this can lead to a lot of other – much more insidious –problems

Q: What kind of ruler do you think he'd be?

Probably one that would take his responsibilities as seriously as possible but those very same responsibilities would make him wanna crawl out of his skin. Guy just wants to stand in a forest and stare at a tree, y'know. Can't do that with a buncha people yapping at you about the state of the farms in his kingdom after a particularly harsh winter.
