I’ve already posted a few of these designs, but just for simplicity’s sake: HERE ARE ALL OF THE REDESIGNS for Golden Bat: Reimagined!
You might notice an extra character you don’t recognize: Priestess Amelia is a cult leader character created by @babblingbrookebutler for the sake of fleshing out the story some, and, well…
…she kinda ties directly into Mr. Dark Bat up there. If he looks like Golden Bat, gone Berserk Mode… good.
And yes, even Penny got a redesign. *mutters something about Penny only showing up in 2 episodes and is really just a minor character at best*
Anyhoot, this character design livestream was an absolute delight, and I can’t thank everybody who came out to it enough for all of your wonderful and helpful input! It’s been a blast, everyone, and I hope y’all enjoy the designs!
so can we start hunting down white liberals now or what
so i never rly post my art here, but i was proud of what i did and hoped to share it 🤷♀️
sonic running errands
Reminder that this is still going on (through April 17th) and that we, the consumers, have a lot of power
Imagine this: Takes place after Rift Apart and involves our beloved doctor trying to learn how to be a good babysitter for Lawrence's baby (Seeing as how he clearly cares about the child), as well as getting into various absurd shenanigans in the process.
Along the way, he re-encounters his dimensional counterpart, Emperor Nefarious, who bafflingly appears to have survived his final fate in the last game (And been spat back out into Doc's dimension), although now as a severely pitiful and broken shell of anything resembling who and what he once was, unsure if he wishes to live or die, but always remembering (Consciously or not) what our doctor told him about success.. Perhaps.. he could...try.. a different way to live? What else does he have left? Physically, imagine C-3PO in ESB after he was blasted apart on Cloud City (This will be important, later), except worse, and Emp. Nef's body, as damaged as it is, being generally held together by wiring, however loosely. Not much he can do, if anything, to defend himself.
By all the laws of the universe, he should be dead, and yet... Fate, however merciful or cruel, has brought and left him at the doctor's mercy. Not to mention, ALL of Doc's instincts should be screaming at him to finish this 'emperor' once and for all (For GOOD this time), as proper supervillain etiquette would dictate.. But, for whatever aggravating reason or inclination, he doesn't, ugh.. "Whatever", he tells himself, I can always kill or torture him later for catharsis or stress release, and, um... Maybe he could pacify the baby too while I'm gone, keephimfromwailinghisheadoff-" BAH, there's no time for this! He's on a tight schedule, and infant food as well as other supplies aren't going to simply appear out of thin air for necessity's sake (If only), so he drags the broken emperor back to his not-so-secret lair, still unsure what to do with him...
TO BE CONTINUED...
Hey there, earthsong! Your Mario AU is pretty intriguing, and I'm curious to see how it keeps developing! Your take on Daisy is awesome, but I was wondering if in this AU there are any other combat sports besides boxing, and if Her Rowdiness is also interested in any of them...
"Her Rowdiness", that's hilarious xD
But yes, there's def more combat sports than just boxing! Kickboxing, wrestling, fencing, dueling, martial arts of all sorts. The one Daisy actually has a career in is Brawling, which is essentially a mixed martial arts sport but moreso in that everyone can use any fighting style they want and not so much the styles are mixed together to create one specific method of fighting. It also involves the use of magic combat so there's that as well.
Daisy appreciates all sorts of fighting styles, hell she's fought against pretty much all of them, so she has a vested interested in them. If not to perform herself, then to learn so she can use her noggin' when in the field. For Daisy though, the most prominent fighting style she uses is probably boxing. owo
let's work it out on the remix | cromwell x more x brat
🌿 My Name is Rola, and This is My Story 🌿
I never thought I would be writing this. I never thought I would be begging for help just to keep my children warm, just to feed them one more meal. But here I am, reaching out to you, because I have no other choice.
My name is Rola. I am a mother of two beautiful children, and before October 7th, we had a life filled with love and laughter. We had a home. My children had their own room, filled with their toys and drawings. We would sit together on our balcony, drinking coffee in the early morning light. We had dreams, just like any other family.
But in an instant, it was all gone.
A missile struck. The earth shook beneath us. The air filled with dust and fire. My husband and son ran, stumbling over each other in terror. I stood frozen, the ringing in my ears drowning out my own screams. Our home was shattered—windows blown out, doors ripped from their hinges. And when I looked outside, our neighbor’s house, a place that once echoed with children's laughter, was nothing but rubble and ash.
That was just the beginning.
The bombs never stopped. Every night, I held my children close as the sky rained fire. The sound of explosions mixed with the cries of mothers searching for their babies in the darkness. I covered my children, whispering words of comfort, but how do you comfort a child who is terrified of dying in their sleep?
We had to leave. We walked away from everything—our home, our memories, the warmth of our life before. My children left behind their favorite toys, their books, their safe space. Now, we have nothing.
No home.
No food.
No clean water.
No way out.
I went to buy sugar the other day. It cost $20 for just a kilo. Food is disappearing, and the little that remains is impossible to afford. Every day, I fight to find just enough to keep my children alive.
I am exhausted. I am scared. I need your help.
I never imagined I would have to beg for my family’s survival. But today, I am.
Please, if you are reading this, help us. Help me save my children. Help us find shelter, food, a way to rebuild even a small piece of the life we lost. If we ever have the chance to leave, we need support. If we are forced to stay, we need a home again.
Every donation matters. Every share helps. Every voice that speaks for us keeps hope alive.
💚 Please donate if you can. Share our story. Help us survive. 💚

(Don't know if you've gotten questions like this before but wanted to see what you'd think, considering how much you seem to like Shadow.)
Q: Concerning Shadow's title of Ultimate Life Form, do you think that it is something empowering he should wear with pride, or a curse/burden to be freed of which, among other things, shackles him to horrific and unrealistic expectations?
I feel like this question is kinda like a litmus test for why a person may like Shadow.
Personally, I think there's nuance to be found here. To me, Shadow feels both those ways about being "The Ultimate Lifeform," but how he feels about it bounces between one or the other depending on his mood. He is The Ultimate Lifeform, a being of great power that demands respect when he's trying to intimidate someone or achieving his goals -- Goals only he is capable of achieving, with what he is and all that. Obviously. He's the Ultimate Lifeform, so of course he should be the one to step in and solve the problem. He was designed to be an unstoppable force...
... So when he fails, he has to mentally come to grips with that failure in a way that, I feel, is more difficult for him than, say, if Sonic fails. Sonic is natural. His failures are natural. Shadow is unnatural. His failures. Are. Unnatural. They are not meant to happen. It's arrogance until it's not. His status is just as much a rope he holds to climb a mountain as it is a noose around his neck. A source of confidence, and Gerald Robotnik's judgemental gaze.
He's proud. He's an achiever. He's a pillar of strength. Until he slips.
So, how he (may) feel is how I feel. Depending on his mood, Shadow's Ultimate Lifeform title is both a boon to him and a great and terrible weight. He draws strength and self-loathing from it in equal amounts. That's simply how I interpret it, anyway.
I can finally share this little project I’ve been working on!! it’s called “the Crown of the Fae” and i really wanted to explore how my two characters, Aiden (the fae) and Aiva (the wee lass) met each other! And what better way to do that than in the form of RHYME!!! But honestly, these two characters mean a lot to me, and I’m so glad my book illustration class finally gave me the opportunity to do a little more with them! .
Hello there! A long time ago on Twitter, I saw a post from you involving potential stories you'd like to do in the future, one of them involving Davy Jones as a bounty hunter. Out of curiosity, does your Davy look anything like the one from the Pirates of the Caribbean films?
Dave Jones! He wasn't a bounty hunter, but he was a ghost (and demons maybe) hunter! I'm honestly not sure if I wanna go forward with making his story into a comic. He MIGHT do better in the form of a video game tbh!
Which is EXTREMELY ambitious to make, yeah, but I gotta go with my gut feeling on this one.
I don't think he looks too much like Davy Jones from POTC? Like, he's got the face tentacles but I'd say that's the only real similarity.
For reference, here's a sketch I very very quickly did for you for him so you can see for yourself (VERY ROUGH, I DID THIS IN LIKE 5 MINUTES)
