Kuroyuki was sent away from Koga at a young age, so that he might master the techniques used by another Clan. It’s a difficult arrangement, and despite it’s awful sides, he did offer himself up for this oppertunity, because he felt it was the only way that he could also contribute to guarding his dearest friend. Since returning, people often say he hasn’t “changed a bit”. A notion he finds charming, but doesn’t often comment about.
An alumni of Hope’s Peak Academy, nowadays, he finds his talent isn’t very... practical? Despite HPA’s credibility for instant success in the outside world, his talent isn’t exactly sought after. It’s alright, though. He isn’t upset or hindered by this fact. In truth, he has been hanging around campus a bit more now... considering asking for a job in the “art” portion of the school.

Competitive and charming, Gakushuu is well-liked among his class - Even if he and his father are, somewhat, eerily similar. He is charismatic, charming, and will pull all the stops to win when he finds himself in a position to compete. However? He does have an honor code - And is only willing to go so far, unlike the Headmaster.
However? He does not have a high opinion of those in the “End Class.” As that is the nature of their schools system, he - like so many of the others, treated them like lesser students. But? As things continue to play out, he is beginning to recognize them as genuine rivals.
Ether by a string of bad luck or out of an attempt to drive out the hidden force behind Class 3-E, he’s suddenly found himself being welcomed into the “END CLASS.”
And? Despite having gotten himself there … He is absolutely baffled by what he finds. Sure. He had expected an exceptional teacher. Clearly! But… I don’t think any amount of resolve could have helped him expect what he found when he arrived.
AU Collaberation with [ @carnifcx ]. Engaged to her Nagisa Shiota, in this verse!
The only prince born to his father, the king, it was seen as very important that he immediately marry. And? As soon as his father found him a suitor he deemed … well, suiting, he arranged the marriage without any more prior notice. This could be… troubling. Especially because his father, the kind, and the mother of the “bride”… seem to get along far too well…
This is the verse for the main story line of SDR2.
What started out as a nice little trip – despite being unexpected, especially because she had thought she was about to starter first day at Hope’s Peak Academy, turns rabidly dark. With the appearance of a bear by the name of Monokuma and the announcement that they would be partaking in something called a “Mutual Killing Game.” Sonia is strong minded and strong willed. Being a princess means she is good at keeping a straight face and keeping herself calm, even in times of high stress. However? There is afear prickling at the back of her mind. After all? Who is doing this? Why is this happening? Why do she or any of her classmates have to die? What is the purpose of this cruel game …
Confused, but willing to adapt, the Ultimate Princess has found herself on a “school trip” to a mysterious Island along with the fellow members of her class. It’s confusion. But, as weird as it is… it doesn’t seem like a bad idea. Perhaps this was a good way to get to know everyone! Sonia would feel awfully silly if she didn’t at least give it a chance! Perhaps she could have a wonderful time with her class here, even if getting here… might still confuse her. ( … how does a room fold away and bring you to a beach? She may believe in magic, but… she still can’t put a finger to a spell that could do something like this. )
A member of Yukizome’s class, and always a will participant in showing up to class, from the moment they got their new enthusiastic teacher? She has found herself positively excited or class~ She wanted a true school experience. And she enjoys getting to know those around her. Even if… certain classmates can be a little… “overwhelming” to say the least.
A member of the “Remnant’s of Despair,” Sonia is still just as charismatic and as much of a leader as she has ever been. One of her strongest points, and part of what makes her so terrifying, is as a princess she has military training as well as the charisma to move people - she is a master of mass manipulation, as well as strategic destruction to decrease moral of enemies and so on and so forth. She is also very much willing to take up weapons and lead the charge. She is by no means weak. But she is terrifying.
Spoilers for DR3!
After having awoken from the Neo World Program, she and the remaining survivors had decided to wait for their classmates. They were willing to stick around there and wait for them to revive, regardless of the odds. However? With a little push from their local, artificial, genius? ( Izuru ) They were able to retrive all of them - and managed to pull off a bit of a last minute save for their saviors.
Someone who had moved to the island of Orsus in the recent years – particularly to train herself in the ways of her people, and give her a safe place to study. After all, it wasn’t until recent that she had even known that she was a witch. Her family had been intent to hide it from her, especially given that they considered themselves a strict religious family. And they would not have their daughter ruining that for them… However? Sonia’s natural magic was too strong to be sealed, and when it finally revealed itself, nothing would stop her from figuring out what exactly she was.
It took some time, but eventually she was able to discover that her origin-line tied her to the line of the original “W i t c h ‘ Q u e e n” and that meant she had the potential to grow into that level of power as well. Even to take the title – but? To do so, she would have to survive – because the line had disappeared for ages, and clans were currently warring over the title. And some untrained youth was certainly not going to do anything about the state of things. She needed to survive, which meant? Moving somewhere she could study in peace – until she is able to properly wield her natural talent.
Working to try to revive the Ox King, Gyumaoh, Doctor Ni Jianyi is helping with the very taboo experiments necessary to mix magic and science together. He is modern science’s first biological engineer and a very playful man. To the point of often annoying those who work with him... but he cares very little.
In this verse he only goes by “Ni Jianyi” and will not respond to Ukoku Sanzo.
Traveling around as “Priest” Ukoku Sanzo again, he’s decided to take some direct action on his own - this is the events of Saiyuki Reload, the Manga, when he continues to run into Hazel from time to time to manipulate events and cause him to respond certain ways. He is a trouble maker and is attempting to manipulate events to that they favor him... how will it end?
Before the “Light” died out of his life. Despite not being a wonderful priest, and never being properly chosen for the scripture he now carries, he at least does a good job helping out wherever he chooses to go. He’s a bit of a loose canon, and is very dangerous... but he’s known to hop from place to place, based on his interests at the time.
Sanada Nobuyuki, the Lord of Numata… and unfortunately for him? The older brother of the troublemaker, Yukimura. He is very different from his brother. A busy man, he takes his job very seriously. He also takes their fathers mission into account far more than his brother ever did: The mission? To make sure the Sanada family line survives, no matter what. He’s also a married man, married to young Komatsu-hime, his light. Often times? The serious man can be found working… ether his page or his wife at his side.
This particular verse falls around the time he first met the Unno twins, when they were being assigned their pages- And? Around the time he allowed his brother to choose the method that their pages were chosen. He is still very serious, however? He’s a little more relaxed around this time, but? Not by much. This was when he was first getting to know the young page, and getting used to having him around- Debating just how much help the other would truly be to him.
This particular verse takes place with him during his waring era. Because of this? Don’t expect to find him in a particularly wonderful mood. He takes his job very seriously, and? Is more than willing to slaughter an enemy, if that’s what it comes down to. What’s important to him? Is surviving for the sake of completing his father’s goals. Of course? This isn’t the only thing that concerns him… after all, he does value his own life. But? He’s a little more anxious and unnerved during this time. Don’t expect him to be overly pleasant to strangers.
Sanada Nobuyuki, much to his dismay, is a teacher at the school that his own brother has recently come to teach at. Unfortunately for him? This has not been going particularly well. After all: He is very strict and serious. He is often found staying around after hours, grading papers, or even sticking around before and after school if any of his students have any particular questions. You’ll find that his classes are difficult, but? If you have questions for him, he’ll do everything in his power, with what limited patience he has, spending forever trying to help you understand it.
This is his canon timeline verse ; Adlet, having been chosen to be one of the “Braves” has begun his travels to help his fellow “braves” seal the Majin. He has one of the “Crests of the Six Flowers,” resting on the back of his dominant hand. In this verse, there is a lot of confusion - after all: despite being honored to be chosen, and being the “strongest man in the world,” his words not mine, … there are too many braves. Never have so many been chosen. So? There must be a traitor … or a liar. A lot of this verse is Adlet trying to pull the team together, and trying to work alongside of each other, while trying to figure out who the traitor could possibly be.
A master of “trick weapons,” Adlet Mayer finds himself often called upon by those seeking weapons and such - He doesn’t sell to just anyone. His weapons are his passion, and he won’t have them used to back a person or group he doesn’t agree with. So? For the most part, he is a traveling merchant … Forever looking for new things to make his weapons with, and continuing to smith and forge what has got to be some of the most unique weapons in the country at this time.
A traveler with little in mind for a goal - he travels the lands to try to learn things a little more first hand. Something that had been recommended to him by his teacher, the man who taught him to fight, and to build. Now? He is doing just that. Traveling the countryside, traveling from city to city, to figure out things for himself. Learning more about local and foreign plants, poisons, antidotes, weapons - and becoming something of a craftsman in the process. He considers himself something of a traveling gentleman, however. So? If approached with an issue? He’ll do what he can to help those in need.
… which is probably why he is always suffering from lack of funds.
All he’d ever wanted in the world … was to be chosen as one of the Brave’s. To be given the chance to prove himself, to make up for what happened, to save people like he was once unable to. All he’d ever wanted was to be a hero. To prove that he didn’t have to be a prodigy or naturally talented to become a hero. And? He fought and trained every day, proving himself again and again with tricks, weapons, and everything in the book, to do so. And yet? Here he was - Here was everything he’d ever dreamed off, and? He hadn’t been chosen. He hadn’t accomplished anything. And? If he couldn’t accomplish his dream, if he couldn’t be chosen on the grounds that he wasn’t “good enough,” he’d damned well prove them wrong. The Goddess choose poorly. And he would prove it. Even if it meant slaughtering those she had chosen.
The shinobi in charge of over-seeing the younger shinobi’s training, Chojirou is often very proud of those he has worked with. Trusting them and treating them as full-blown shinobi, the moment he believes they’re ready. He wants to give all of his companions a chance to prove themselves, and won’t deny them the opportunity.
However, he is a duty bound man - if given an order, he will try to complete it. Even if it destroys him.
Despite his obvious loyalties to the village, despite his dedication to Koga, he’s unable to bear the weight of his orders. He wanted to complete them, even if it destroyed him - he’s a shinobi. He shouldn’t have an opinion. He shouldn’t be able to argue or disagree with his orders, he knows that. And yet? With those orders pointing his blade towards his loved ones... he can’t.

[ Contains Spoilers for NDRV3 ]
This is the verse that will be used for most canon timeline interactions, or canon variations of different chapters and trails. Basically anything that happens in the “Gifted Inmates’ Academy” killing game will fall under this tag. :’3 ( I will add more details to this, when the game has been out longer, and I’m not scared of spoiling things for people in my verses page! )
Leader of the group “DICE,” famous for stealing artwork of varying varieties - Kokichi has managed to keep his face and hid true identity from the public thus far. He is a “Phantom Thief,” snatching up artwork and such from different museums. So far? No one knows why he targets the ones he does …
Kokichi targets only artwork that has potential to cause trouble. Being as anti-violence as he is, he has little tolerance for things that are supposed to be safe, but someone made them dangerous. For the sake of people who enjoy art, and should be able to feel safe around it - he would rather snatch up these problematic pieces while they’re still considered ART, and not considered dangerous.
A cherubim ranked angel, Kokichi is a very strong “youth” whose duty is to guard the “GATES” to the “Garden of Eden.” However, given that this is something he can summon at any particular time, he hasn’t had to really worry about where he guards it - as long as he doesn’t summon it to people who aren’t supposed to see it, or go there.
Given his ranking, he is able to summon holy-weapons as well - a guardian measurement, assuming someone forces him to summon the gate, or he can have his wings flare into fire.
His tells about his race - when he feels like showing them, are his wings. Soft and pure white in color, due to his being an “active duty” angel. ( They can blaze out - turning into fire, but he very rarely does anything like that. ) Aside from those, which he can hide, his only active tell is his eyes - each eye has a golden ring around the pupil. Those are his “halo,” which glow when he uses any of his abilities.
organize things... right.

The baseline of threads for the timeline of SDR2. So? Threads based on the Mutual Killing Game will use this, usually.
( Spoilers for SDR2 and DR3:Despair/Future/Hope ) ;; One of the many students brought to the Island for the Neo World Program. At the very least, that’s what everyone is meant to believe – While in truth? Chiaki is a created program based on everyone’s cognitive thoughts on someone who would be best at helping them all. She is not created of the true Chiaki, and is instead made of the memories and thoughts the others had of her, even if they don’t remember her much themselves. Regardless, she is considered the “Traitor,” because she is also considered a member of the “Future Foundation” and is meant to guide them all into recovery. Usami’s sister.
At first, a quiet high schooler just trying to go through school – after all, she’d rather be gaming, she eventually found out that gaming was also a good way to interact with others and make friends. Something she took to rather happily, actually. Cheerful, though still quite, the Ultimate Gamer was chosen to be the representative of the class eventually. And? Acted as something of a focal point of “hope” for the rest of her classmates. In general? She’s just a shy nerd who wants to make friends. After all: Sometimes, it’s nice to have a player two~
With Monokuma and AI Junko defeated from the get go, the rehabilitation of the former Remnant’s of Despair can happen without much trouble. So? To help them all make memories, bonds, and help them form hope? The lot of them are put through a lot of silly little events and group bonding experiences. Chiaki is there to help move the rehabilitation on, after all! That’s what she’s there for! And, honestly, she’s happy to do so. She’s happy to do anything she can to help her friends. ( Even if she won’t be able to leave with the rest of them, she’ll be happy just as long as they don’t forget her. )
Somehow, having survived the “Death Game” put together by Junko Enoshima, Chiaki woke up to the world in disarray. Her classmates had fallen to despair. The world was falling apart. And, because of the seriousness of her injuries… it had taken her some time to wake up. And? By the time she had, in a coma, she had been brought to Future Foundation. ( When she recovered and actually started getting the lay of the land, she became a member of the 7th Branch. ) However? When the Remnant’s of Despair were brought it, and when Naegi did what he did – she was quick to go along with them. ( “They’re my classmates! Please, let me help you! Let me help them!” )
Built to help save the others, she tried to do just that - Absorbing the virus data that she found forming inside the Neo World Program, before it could fully form. Unfortunately, this formed a stream of “RED DATA,” overwriting her initial programming. Instead of wanting to save them, she now has only one goal - Keep her classmates here. Forever. No matter what. Anyone trying to leave, would be considered a traitor. “I built this paradise for you, to help you, and this… this… this! This is how you treat me! You traitors!”
There is no game. Chiaki has no interest in any game. Any battle. She is data and given the data put into her unstable programming, she can manipulate the remaining data at will - The only thing the others on the outside were able to block her from, was being able to directly manipulate the data that made up the consciousness’ of those who were supposed to be receiving help. If your in this program, you’ll have to try very hard, very sneakily, to get out - because she’s not going to make it easy.
Chiaki Nanami is a member of the Light Elven breed. A type of elf that is famous for a few things – one? They are a breed of all female elven folk. They have never had anyone who is full Alven who is a male. Two? They are famous for guarding treasures, and making near games of watching over them. Enticing strangers to play their games and – to this day? Always, always losing. ( After all: other breeds, humans included, are only allowed to marry a member of the Weisse Frauen if they beat them in their game and capture their treasure. )
Chiaki has only just become old enough to have obtained her treasure. However? Unsure of whether she wants to marry or not – or even what sort of game she wants to do? She thought it would be wise to surround herself with other members of the Folk, to try to get some original ideas.
Traits of her breed include perpetually pale skin – and yet? Being entirely unable to see any of the veins in her arms, or through her skin at all. Her ears, which are harshly pointed. And the fact that she literally glows in the dark. ( And yet: At night, that’s all her body can do. She has no other access to her magic during the nighttime. )
Pre-canon verse where Ewan is just a young man living out in the middle of nowhere with his brother. He is a good, innocent, boy who is simply trying hard not to be a burden for his elder brother. He is entirely aware of the fact that it isn’t easy to have to drop everything to raise someone else... and after their parents death? His brother has been doing everything in his power to protect and raise him.
So? He does everything he can to help around the house. And does his best to keep up with his studies, so that his elder brother has no reason to be overly concerned for him.
Unaware of why he was chosen for this particular round - it appears that Ewan was one of the “princes” summoned to the Thousand Year Labyrinth, in hopes of picking the next ruler. And whereas most of them are famous names, genius’, musician’s, ... famous people, he has none of that prestige behind his name and is unsure why he was picked.
Also, he’s one of the ones who is quick to suggest that the others all work together for this crazy event. He’s not interested in competing. He’d rather just make sure that everyone survives.
After the events of the main series - and leading into the events of the second series, this is the events after Ewan was chosen by the others to be the ruler. This would be the verse of the others supporting his rule, and him just sorta... trying his best.
