Of course, he’s still reluctant to actually play tennis anymore... but surrounded by these people and their talents has at least inspired a spark of interest in his own talent again. Can he truly retire so early in his life? Especially when he still has so much love for the sport?

Being the only kunoichi of mixed bloodlines - it can be a little difficult to live up to the legacy expected of you. Enju is related to both the Clan Leader of Koga, and her mother had been the sister of the leader to Iga. Her mixed bloodlines is looked as a symbol of peace, a final coming together of both clans, especially after what happened. However? This does mean she has a lot riding on her shoulders.

Due to this an various other things, she has spent a lot of timing training and practicing with both her friends and family - and yet? Hasn’t really been aloud to go on many missions just yet. So? There are times she’ll make rookie mistakes … or allow her heart to lead her, when she should have used her head.

Following the death of a certain person in game - Enju is forced to be on the run. She has to, after all: she can’t be forgiven for the supposed “murder” she took part in. And even if she hasn’t done anything? She can’t prove it.

So? She needs to run - it’s her only chance to really clear her name. ( By giving herself enough time for someone else to prove it had been someone else. )

An AU scenario - where she was never invited to that particular mission, and the world fell back into chaos. Shinobi and kunoichi are in high demand with the fall of peace, and wars waging even every region again. Due to this, Enju has become a regular kunoichi - and determined not to let her friends and family down? She has begun to get used to the day to day tragedy of their Clan.

Never had she realized just how much she would have to kill her own heart for this job. But? She refuses to let it go. After all? She is everyone’s hope. Their symbol of peace. And even if it kills her? She won’t stop.

The other woman’s approval of the nickname had Isanami brightening up. She always loved using nicknames with people she liked, and it was a real shame that usually those whom she liked didn’t really… welcome it, for lack of better words. Still, Juju’s nervousness was quite prone to being contagious. Although the youth was one who liked to spread her own form of kindness and cheer, if there was something that was CONCERNING to the other, she’d like to know that. In case she was the cause for it, being a bit overbearing with her own friendliness.

After all? People here tended to be more RESERVED than anything. It was hard to trust, especially with war and fights breaking out every so often due to the turmoil of the government. Perhaps someone like Isanami was actually quite scary when compared to the people who would rather keep to themselves? Hmm. She’d have to think about that separately one day.

❛ I think it’s good to have that kinda mindset. Y’know, helping others without expecting anything in return. But it’s also good to show others your gratitude. I don’t like to think of it as repayment or anything. Makes it all business-y and like we gotta owe each other favors. ❜ She might be a little bit of a hypocrite when she said that; after all? The way she got Saizou to STAY at Ueda in the beginning was because she held that bowl of soba over his head…

No matter! Isanami had successfully pressured convinced Juju to accept this form of gratefulness. And she was glad that she chose sweets too ― that was always a good way to satisfy the stomach! ❛ Sweets it is~ ❜ Isanami dangles her feet over the edge of the branch, as if having a conversation deciding where to eat in a TREE was normal. ❛ Hmm… I can probably get down by myself with no trouble at this height. ❜ It was said to herself more than anything. Not wanting to trouble her new friend anymore, she gives her fellow light-haired companion a reassuring smile. ❛ Go ahead and wait for me at the bottom, Juju! I’ll be down in a few minutes! ❜

She didn’t know if Juju would listen to her request. After all, the kunoichi proved that she was a soft-hearted individual who didn’t like to see others in danger. And going down from a tree like this was a bit RISKY. However, Isanami would like to believe that she had improved greatly from the last time she was in a tree like this. Even if she hadn’t? Just like last time, at least there would be someone to look out for her should she made a wrong step.

That being said, regardless of Juju’s response, Isanami would make the first move by hoisting her body over the EDGE of the branch. One thing she learned from last time; it was best not to linger too long on a branch. Quick jumps was the way to go!

      Enju couldn’t help but smile a little at the others sincerity. She was a bright companion – cheerful and chipper. Perhaps a little overwhelming, but she knew very few people like Isanami. The only person she could liken her to was the young k u n o i c h i she considered her “little sister”. . .

      “Well, I’d hate to deny you your chance to show your gratitude. That would… be rather rude on my part as well.” Despite being a kunoichi, despite being a very busy one, and being the DAUGHTER of the chief… she would make time for this. After all, ENJU had already risked outing herself for the safety of this stranger. The very least she could do was make sure that the other was truly going to be okay. . . and some sweets did sound good. That was the truth there. “… alright, alright. I’ll just… think of it as getting to know someone, then?” That was why youths these days got together for sweets, right?

      To chat, catch up, or make friends? Her confusion over this was really the obvious sign that she wasn’t someone normal…

      But it wasn’t as though the other didn’t realize she was a ninja already. After showing her technique like that. . . With that thought, sapphire eyes move to look at the other. ( She couldn’t help but be curious on why someone so friendly… was so calm with the presence of a ninja already? )

      Perhaps it was because she, herself, failed to have much of a shinobi like presence? The thought was vaguely disappointing, but – she did offer a soft, sincere, smile when the other chimes about sweets. However, a vaguely panicked expression appears when the other mentions jumping. “Ah, a-are you sure? I can bring you down, you know…” But the other had requested her to wait at the bottom, and? As confused as she was, she was going to do just that – at the very least, so that she could be prepared to catch the other should something go wrong.

      However, as Isanami quickly stepped off – Enju followed suit. She wasn’t given a chance to head down first, however – but she made sure to throw herself down fast enough that, though a slightly rougher landing, she would meet the other down there and have her hands on her hips to help steady her. “… y-your… really brave, aren’t you?” Enju pants out, panic having forced her heartrate up quite a bit. But, she was smiling still.

      Isanami… was going to be quite the interesting person to get to know.

      ( A professional “Honey Pot” assassin, and a surprisingly young one at that - she was picked to be the back-up for the children. Someone who was supposed to come in, and finish the job. Instead? She was hired as something of a language expert. And? Despite being fed up with it, almost immediately? She eventually welcomed the idea. Even becoming fond of the kids… though? She certainly doesn’t care for the nickname they’ve given her. )

       A cool-headed killer, and a professional at it, Irina is good at what she does. Often hired to infiltrate, at least for a time, get their guard down and then kill her targets? She’s infamous for getting the job done, even in very difficult situations - such as high profile, multiple witness, scenarios. She’s willing to use anyone, or anything, in her ability to get the kill. That was how she was trained. And she’s not about to give up now.

      Due to the spoiler-ish nature of this verse? I will be a little vague here - Irina has switched her career path, given how everything eventually played out. And? Though it still requires she use a lot of the same skill sets she once did? She does find this job more enjoyable - after all! It is somewhat exciting to have a constant companion to pick on a little. ( Even if he just sorta tolerates her crazy some days… )

      When Kamui/Corrin left their family to side with their “birth” family, Leo and the others felt understandably betrayed. They’d been nothing short of family to them and when they left - they where heartbroken and betrayed. And? Their father was quick to turn on them. . . There was little they could do in the matter, rather then fight. And though they didn’t hate them, they couldn’t forgive them ether.

      Later down the verse, Leo is calmed some... and due to calming down and listening to reason when approached, he is one who manages to survive the events of their leaving. Eventually becoming the next King of Nohr. A position he had never truly expected to be taking, but? He hopes to make his family proud. Both those there, and in the afterlife.

       When Kamui/Corrin was seperated from them all and went to Hoshido... and decided to come back, despite everything they found out? Even, eventually, bringing back their missing sibling Azura? They’re understandably relieved. Especially given what they’re told that they found out.

      However - it appears that their father no longer shows them favor. It’s strange, despite proving their loyalty repeatedly, he seems particularly cruel to them. And it’s not something Leo necessarily understands, and yet? They keep trying to help their sibling prove themselves.

      Following an unlikely chain of events, unfolding since the moment Hoshido and Nohr began fighting over whose sibling Kamui/Corrin was - and having them simply refuse to take ether side and leave? It’s a slow gradual process to bring both sides together. And though some are more reluctant to accept this peace then others, it does bring both sides together. Working towards a common cause.

It seemed only natural that the current “Saint of Blades” be chosen as one of the Brave’s. After all: She was powerful, talented –naturally gifted. When she was chosen, no one questioned it. It was clearly something she had deserved. However? Behind her playfulness, she has a bit of a wicked streak. Often pushing jokes just a little too far, just to see how people respond. She knows, she observes, and knows often which buttons to press to get the exact responses she is looking for.

And trying to gain vengeance against those he preceived to have done him wrong... ( and those who actually did. )

       This is the verse where he teams up with Judal/Judar and gains himself a second Djinn.

❖ ─ ━ ɩɴⅴеႽτɩնατοʀ It was actually surprised to see him at his desk each day, it was like he was trying to improve himself more something which was actually quite kind of him to do. Despite everyone else who works in their Division though, Hijirihara was the only one that could make her smile the brightest and more or less trust so these small things made her day. ❝I never knew you were good at these sort of things, Hijirihara-san. I’m actually amazed at it, and it’s actually quite adorable too. ❞ She responded back smiling more towards him. It didn’t actually matter that he gave it to her earlier than expected there cause she would respond the same way. It was very sweet of him he went to the extent of decorating it there too so she was more than happy he gave her the plushy there. ❝I named it after a character from a game I played in the past there, so his name is Dezel. And he’s now he’s one of my valuable treasures too. Besides that though, how was the chocolate I made you? ❞

      When she compliments him again, he lowers his head a little – hiding his eyes a little bit behind his messy hair. He didn’t often show these skills to others. So? It was nice to have them complimented. But? it was a little overwhelming as well.

      Perhaps that was just because he was naturally a little anxious? Or perhaps it was because his partner & friend was the one saying it? And he wasn’t used to being complimented by her… after all, he could be an awful lot of trouble for her as well. And there where days that he still found himself hiding in weird places. It was a comfort thing for him. “I could show you how I do it, sometime? If you’d be interested… in something like that, I guess?” Perhaps he could make a companion stuffed animal for her current one – and he could show her how he did it.

      Honestly, it’s just understanding how shapes work together. And knowing what the completed image would look like reassembled. ( Ironically – a similar technique to figuring out murders. Not that he was going to say something like that right n o w though. )

      “Dezel? I like it.” Hijirihara comments, smiling just a little as he nods. “I liked the chocolate.” He continues, answering her question now as well. “It was really good. A little more of a dark-chocolate, right?” Do you know who sucks at small talk? This fella.

      But do you know whose gotten better at it, because he wants to talk to his partner more? SAME ANSWER as above. ( This fella. ) “I think I read somewhere… that you have to keep it at a certain temperature? While you’re cooking it, otherwise it doesn’t have that shine it had… so… that’s really cool.” Casual conversation may not be his strong point. But?
