OMG so i realized this day 5 years ago, 2016 Falsettos revival opened officially at the Walter Kerr Theatre and to celebrate this special day, here is some of my favorite photos from this wonderful production because we don’t talk about these enough. Enjoy!

also me: *realizing in my country, people speak english as a second language, musicals in general and anything related to musical theatre rarely exist and no one cares or knows about them. I don't take any professional classes in singing, acting and dancing and my parents maybe won't let me participate because it will be expensive or i wouldn't have time for extra activities. My random thoughts about Heathers the musical (yes i just watched it today)

Okay first of all, J.D needs professional helps (i only realized this when i read the comments and it took me so long to realize: his dad doesn't take good care of him, his mom's death traumatized him and he doesn't have any friend at all)

The beautiful's ending reminds me of chip on my shoulder's ending (come on it's the same guy who wrote the music for both musicals)

Yes a lot of songs in this remind me of other legally blonde and mean girls songs. ( lifeboat and what's wrong and me; big fun and whose house is this; kindergarten boyfriend and ireland; fight for me and stupid with love etc.)

why all the songs is so CATCHY? (they shouldn't make inappropriate songs that catchy)

i really like the idea to let H. Chandler, Kurt and Ram haunt Veronica, like it shows Veronica's thoughts and feelings beside the diary, and it lets actors and actresses more time on stage/onscreen time!

Heather Duke/ Alice Lee needs a real solo! (i know they did this on purpose to highlights "no discernible personality" line and West End production actually has one but still)

Also Ryan McCartan singing dead girl walking is a masterpiece.

A pretty fun experience to watch this musical overall. I would give it 7.5/10!

wait i just realized the the small thing on stage during four jews in a room bitching from obc Falsettos was a small bed.

So if Jason was 12 and a half at the beginning of act 2 and he was 13 when the bar mitzvah happened at the ending of act 2, Marvin’s healthy relationship with Whizzer ONLY LASTED LESS THAN 6 MONTHS. WHY WILLIAM FINN HAD TO HURT ME THIS WAY?

y’all i just watched Heathers (the movie tho) and i have a few of things to say:

The first scene where they stepped on the flowers had me in PAIN like GIRLS WTF ARE YOU DOING?

It’s must be difficult for them to be in a same group with same names.

GOSH THIS MOVIE MADE ME WANT A RED SCRUNCHIE SO BADD!

It’s really refreshing to see progtanist’s love interest was also the main antagonist (it’s not always the mean girls so yeah)

Heather McNamara and Veronica friendship is cute somehow.

We shouldn’t romanticize Veronica‘s unhealthy relationship with JD.

I don’t really sure about the meaning of this movie (i’ll watch a few analysing videos on this movie later!)

I was procrastinating everything to watch this movie and it was kinda worth it!
