A few months ago, I had a few friends join the femininomenon fest, and I had major fomo. I decided to join it and brought a friend along with me (@kelpforestfire). Tonight I posted my final chapter for my snamione fic for the fest.
It was such a fun experience, and I've already started another fic for the Moony's Midlife Crisis Fest. I've made more fandom friends, beta'd more fics, and just really enjoyed finishing this little fic that allowed me to let my inner scientist nerd-out a bit.
I've had the BEST cheerleaders and betas behind me, and I've really loved the sense of community that this has given me. I've loved all the fics I've read from the fest. It really was an amazing and timely idea.
