Got bored and curious so I went back and counted every time someone said something along the lines of “EARS” and “Very Ears” to one of my Tango drawings

Total came up to 11 times

And for tips starting out, uhhhhh, not so sure how helpful I can be, I’ve always drawn my whole life (only started drawing people around like 5th grade I think) and I have negative self confidence :p

First thing that comes to mind is don’t rush progress, let your style form on its own. I strongly believe in learning on your own, I really don’t like the videos I see or the mindset/teaching of “drawing the correct way.” Let it be fun and unique.

I have a whole system and order I use to set up each one of my drawings (I could share my process if anyone cares or curious to know), but that’s just me, I like having a system and being organized (to the point of overthinking :p)

Also don’t be afraid to use references or to take inspiration from something!

Life update: so feel free to ignore

Rearranged my whole set up for drawing yesterday (and my bookcase, oh my goodness why do I have so many books…at least I like organizing).

Also have a huge commission (will say more when it’s done/if it goes well :p), hopefully I’ll find some time in there to work on the drawings I have for fun ;-;

I have a new drawing I want to post of another hyperfixation character, but I don’t watch/read/like the story they’re from

I just like this one fella ;-;

Also the fandom scares me

Ugh that song gets me every time, I love it, why do I listen to it

The want to join and chat with people, but then social anxiety walks in and punches me

Joined a chill server in overwatch just to hang out while I draw. The owner was kicking people who judged others or said anything insulting. They also started kicking people who weren’t in voice, I was but wasn’t talking cause I prefer not to

They said they would kick me if I didn’t speak, then when I literally only said “hi,” they proceeded to kick me cause I sounded female

And people wonder why I don’t talk on overwatch much at all, I wonder why I still play this toxic game

Anyway sry for the rant, that really annoyed me

Day late from upload but just listened to the new OK Go song (they have such amazingly made videos) and I was not mentally prepared to see Zed in the comments, but yet it makes so much sense

Today is the one day of the year where I overuse the line “back in my day”

Every time I see my old flower court drawings pop up again, it makes me want to desperately draw them again.

Those two drawings were pretty early on with learning digital art (and their designs in general) and it pains me to look at them

This also gives me another excuse to draw more flower court shhhhh

I was not expecting to really like the result of my long haired Tango doodle, now I reallllly want to draw him in a punk outfit with it.

(Just need to somehow find a good outfit reference .-.)

I am in awe in how amazing people can be sometimes, seeing people here comment about little details in my drawings that I’ve thought most people wouldn’t notice, that makes me so happy!

The amount of little headcanons I have behind said details, and then seeing them noticed! AAA I love it! I could talk about them for hours!

Anyway, just had to rant a bit :p

hey! no worries about a large amount of tags (just saw your hermit lineup post), this is the Using Too Many Tags website :D

BUT. just as a heads up -- as far as I'm aware, only the first five tags you use are actually "read" by tumblr. That is, the rest will (kinda) work on your blog, but to "show up in the tags" that people follow and stuff, it's gotta be in the first five.

Thank you for the tip! I’m honestly very new to posting stuff (on anything in general, I’ve always just lurked) and having all those tags was a peace of mind thing for me mainly, brain wanting everything to be very organized.
