Katie almost laughed from the thought of shilling some tech companies service on her NEWS station. Other patrons on the floor looked in their direction, intrigued by Katie's overreaction

Vox was taken aback, a noise exiting his mouth, but drawing it back to rethink his response

He leaves the table without a goodbye, almost in a rush. Perhaps he was becoming uncomfortable, or short on time. The waitress came back while he was leaving, confused and concerned
“Sorry, we just needed a few minutes to talk… I have coffee at home anyway” Katie says while standing up, towering over while walking past the waiter.
