Pretty random but one of my traits as a tree is giving random gifts to humans.
Sometimes there is just the urge to make a craft I made with my own branches and give it to them as a way to say thank you. It's really euphoric because not only it was made exclusively by me, but it also has an equivalent of growing my own plants and providing it to creatures and continuing the cycle.
I remember that one time I randomly made paper frogs for my human companies (5 of them) and I delicately made each one with heart. I also sent them one chocolate for each on the same day even though it's not valentines day, haha. Whenever someone wants to borrow something for me, I'd gladly give it to them no matter what their kind is.
I know that I am a tree regardless of my personality, but I love finding traits that connect with my tree kintype.

Hey there, specifically looking at the plantae kingdom rn /pos /silly
In need of a garden where you can express yourself as a plant?
Currently, I am in a phytanthrope community with barely ANY plants inside of it!! This garden needs more plants to make it a lively community!!

anybody just hates the usual human body care needs? hell, even animal ones, like no i dont wanna eat, sleep 8 hours a day, exercise, go on walks, and then also work for minimum of 8 hours and have to find 3 hours for relaxation and also shower and brush my teeth and
i wish i could just. sprout. photosynthesize. and just grow there, chilling, no nervous system, no brain, just grow and reproduce. and die in like a year, then get composted, god I'd love to get composted...

1. Well I cantttt describe exactly because i dont really feel shifts from my tree kintypes but whenever it's sunny outside, i tend to stand below the sunlight and enjoy the warmth of it's sunlight. It feels like i am ABSORBING it's nutrients and shit, and kinda feel my body processing to it; like.. photosyntesis or idk
2. Because of the influence of my other kintypes, i dont really have a preference for weather. I usually adapt very well in both wet and warm spaces, although I do prefer warm weather because receiving the energy from sunlight surely feels euphoric. Kinda resenting myself sometimes..
3. It was an instict?? I thinkkk. One day I probably saw a tree and say like "wait thats me" and after a little discovery boom 🌲🌲🌲

so, I suspect I might be a phytanthrope/plantkin, specifically the common snowdrop, but I'm not sure, so I hope to learn more about your guys' experiences 🙏

do you get any type of shifts? mental or phantom? if yes, what do they feel like?
question 2:
does your kintype influence your preference for weather or environment? if you're something that usually grows in a wet or damp environment, do you prefer the rain? if you're something that grows in the summer, do you prefer warm weather?
question 3:
how did you actually figure it out? what was something that made you kinfirm your 'type? or did you just instinctually know what you are?

Little rant (maybe)
I noticed that i felt shifts way more often this month. No matter what place or situation i'm in, I can feel my tail, occasionally my round ears, and my snout. My animalistic urges like eating straight from my mouth also likes to kick in. I do so by putting the food on my "paw" and gently eating it while tilting my head mimicking an animal. Utensils dont really do me a favor while feasting.
I enjoy being under the sunlight because i depict it as a "photosyntesis" kind of stuff.
I remember when I was swimming yesterday, the feeling of receiving some sort of energy from sunlight gives me a lot of euphoria especially when im just standing. But when i am actually swimming inside the pool, I feel my hyena body parts. Im pretty much free being in the water because even though i swim like a baby being thrown inside, nobody commented about it.
Maybe i have shifts as a hyena AND a tree. For the space kin?? Not yet.. or.. I do feel like emiting an energy from me but idk if that even counts
Also it has been a year since i have awakened as a hyena therian!! Yipee!!! (I dont remember when but i remembered it was last year lol)

Guys i finally opened up to my bestfriend about my theriotype and kintypes. He actually accept me!! I feel better because before that, I just feel a really deep existential crisis because im a part of the universe stuck in a flesh with meat and bones. After I opened up, I feel better and refreshing as if something inside me just lightened up. I realised being an otherkin/therian isnt easy, but it feels wonderful sometimes <3
