"Through the Energon Fires during the Autobot's first wave of attacks on Iacon, I saw a sight I never thought I'd see. Orion Pax and his manipulated body... standing in the middle of it all, just standing there. Staring deep into my spark... It made me wonder, was the Senate really telling the truth?" -Bulkhead.

Some context: When the war started in the Emputara!Orion Pax AU, the majority of the Autobots in the Autobot Resistance are mostly consisting of canon G1 and IDW Decepticons with a few exceptions (Ratchet and Ironhide, for example). But when the war began to kick into higher gear, we begin to see the Senate's Decepticons leaving the army to join the Autobots (Not a WHOLE bunch, just a noticable number). Why?

Because they SAW Orion Pax. They saw the true horror of how a respectable and loved officer of the law became an abomination of science. And they truly see what the Senate is willing to do to keep their power.

Emputara!Orion Pax AU: Megatron's Reaction

Megatron led the team of his fellow Cybertronians through the halls of the Institute until they came to the largest room in the entire facility. In front of it was Prowl, holding the biggest gun Megatron had ever seen. "That is far enough." He said matter-of-factly. The weapon slowly charged up. "You and your team will follow me to interrogation, or you will be eliminated. Please just go the easy route. We don't need any more problems." Prowl aimed the nozzle at Megatron's head in an attempt of intimidation, but in Prowl's shock, Megatron just laughed. "You seem to forget, Prowl. I have mined in the tunnels and fought in the pits of Kaon. That weapon you hold may be big, but it'll be an meer scratch of my paintjob. So go ahead. Shot." Prowl glared and was about to pull the trigger when out of the shadows popped Whirl, his new one eye head seering with hatred. "This is what you get for trying to mess with my mind, PROWL!!!" He shouted loudly before punching the cop in the faceplate so hard it sent Prowl straight into the opposing wall, knocking him out cold. "Now... can we get Orion outta here? This place is going to be crawling with guards soon!" Onslaught said, pointing at the sirens blaring everywhere. Megatron nodded and pointed to Soundwave and Ironhide to begin busting the door down. Within second the door came crashing down. The team rushed inside. Inside was a bunch of machinery and giant test tubes hosting arms, legs, and torsos. It was a mad science lab to be frank. Megatron just got the creeps. Until he laid eyes on the tube in the center of the lab. It had an entire body in it. Ratchet also noticed and his eyes went wide. "No..." was all he whispered. Megatron ran up to the tube and immediately began crying.

Inside was the unconscious and manipulated body of Orion Pax. Megatron slammed the glass, Soundwave and the others standing back. Megatron then looked up into the black expression of Orion. "The Council will pay for this... Or my name isn't MEGATRON, now Leader of the soon to become AUTOBOTS!"

Emputara!Orion Pax AU

OKAY OKAY HERE ME OUT: What if Orion Pax was the one sent to the Institute and was forced to go under the Emputara Process? And Senator Shockwave was simply placed in prison? Here's what I think would have gone down: Megatron would learn of what happened and grow upset. At this time Orion and Megatron were friends. So Megatron would gather anyone he can. Some of the highlights would be Onslaught, Brawl, Ratchet, Ultra Magnus, Soundwave, Ironhide, Barricade, and Blaster. They would basically go full ballistic on the Institute and proceeds to raid the entire place, freeing Whirl in the process. They get to Orion, but it is too late, he had already gone under the process. So, in order to keep Orion MOSTLY himself, Soundwave hacks the system and is able to restore most of Orion's emotional processing, but in the end, he could fully revert the process. Orion can feel feelings but can't express them. And his body was heavily manipulated (Think Transformers Prime Shockwave with IDW Comics Optimus Prime). Megatron is so upset and fully opens up the idea of war. In the end many Cybertronians join him, and the war begins.

The two sides are the Autobots and the Decepticons. Megatron leads the Autobots, while the Cybertronian senate lead the Decepticons.

This is surprisingly my first time drawing bots that aren't Starscream even though soundwave is my second favourite.

This took longer to post especially due to it being the work day's but I still got it done 👍🏻.

On the last drawings I tried to at least make it look like there are flames near them with the orange and red but that could use extra work.

I'm trying to see what design I should stick with cause there'll be changes from the original designs.

Thanks for the 24 likes on the last post did even better than the previous one.

I have more to give on Shockwave and Soundwave but that may not be the next post.

I have realized that all of the incorrect quotes so far have been about the Rescue Bots and ProtectoBots.

I looked up fan art of them to get a better gauge of what their relationship dynamic is like but there was like no art of them

I leaned more towards my au since I haven’t read any of the comics but I know they’re friends prewar there (I don’t remember if this is canon in any other continuity)

I actually really like this pairing I think they go pretty well together tbh !!

I drew Shockwave and Optimus pre war in my au since the art I saw was pre war too. Warrior cat shockwave has heterochromia since pre empurata shockwave has blue eyes.

I had too much fun drawing this one and did a full scene instead of my gradient background I normally do, hope you guys enjoy !!

Reasoning: He is very… destructive. He has a bad attitude and sounds like he just had 23 pounds of black tar heroin. I wouldn’t mind sitting down and getting to know him but, I don’t think I’d last 12 seconds around this emotional wreck of a mech.

Reasoning: I wouldn’t mind going out to dinner with him but if he brings his pet, I’m out of there. If he could speak more English instead of mumbling Cybertronian, we might get somewhere. He doesn’t look very cuddly so, I can’t see us vibing on the couch anytime soon.

Reasoning: Scary. I like bots like that but this is… scary on another level. In my opinion, he was one of the most fearful Shockwaves that I’ve seen. I’m sure he is a nice person deep down, but for now, I’ll just get a coffee with him.

Reasoning: We don’t know much about him, having only heard him speak once or maybe twice but, I will go on a date with him. Can I sit in his lap? Yes? Awesome. I think we would have an ok time, though it would be awkward. If it goes well, I’d go on a few more with him, and he does look better than BayVerse shockwave so, maybe we can cuddle?

Warning: theme of depression,kidnapping at the end ,the author never met or seen an emo irl

Shockwave side : Let's say he mostly choose to hang out with you to kinda make himself less suspicious to everyone and You were a perfect choice ,you were calm and didn't bother to talk to anyone and had a good fashion sense for a human

You didn't actually have a choice if you wanted him as your guardian or anything he just kinda low-key took you and was like yeah this human is my friend yeah

Bumblebees was like woah cool and 100% annoyed him even more but hey at least he is doing his work without any worries

The downside of this cover up plan that he had to spend time with you a lot so you don't get suspicious of him and the more time he spent with you the more he noticed you might be a bit....Good for a human

Longarm side : well he is like the best bot to hang out with even you're 100% sure he is using you for something but you don't know what it is so you roll with him and hey at least you have a friend who kinda doesn't question you much when look tired af Or saying dark jokes about yourself or about your taste of music or choice of clothing

Or when you kinda don't talk to him for days or appear at the base for weeks ,or when look like you haven't showered or eaten for Days ,you are really grateful he just leave you alone most of the time actually,it's easier to kinda deal with things when you're alone not burdening anyone with your problems because who cares anyway

You relationship with him was mostly him and You hanging out around the team and him keeping you around whenever he need you ,you would talk and he would listen ,he never question you so you were okay of how things were going between the both of you

That's till one day he just snatched you outta of nowhere while you were walking home and took you to a wooden area away from ppl

You might have feared for your life if you actually cared much about it

Longarm tens up as his optics look at your teary eyes and he hug you ,you try to escape the hug but he hug you tightly ,and You let a son out then you cry ,For the first time since what felt years ,you cry your heart out and You speak about your worries and anxieties and he is patting your head awkwardly

" there....there...You know I'm here...for you....You don't need to keep all this to yourself..i am here for you...i will take care of you...you are never alone as long I am here " he tells you as he try to wipe your tears away but fail ,you smile at his attempt as you sniff

" thank-Thank you Dude..Ah...Thank you"you hug him tightly and he pause ,he mentally curse himself as he speak" no problem(y/n) that's what friends for after all '' he spoke as he felt as someone had his spark on fire

Well after that conversation in the woods your relationship become more wholesome vibes since he started to his care and loving side more to you and he almost always assured you that you're one the best thing he ever met

You both often spent time in the woods to talk about everything that bothered you and have moment of peace from everything

You both grew closer and closer and it was like a perfect fairy tale expect it was with a giant alien robot and a tiny human who had no care for this world

Everything was going great....

That's till you get the news from bumblebee that longarm was the spy they were looking for ,he was in fact not even Longarm ,he was some Bot named shockwave who took identity of longarm and was using you as a way to keep his cover

Your heart broke by that news,you knew it was too good to be true....You were such a fool ,you sat down as you kinda had the worst ugly crying of your life ,and bumblebee for once knew his humour won't light this up ,so he keeled next you and hugged you ,you were alone again...

And of course You didn't notice the red optic that was watching you and Bee from a distant......

Few weeks later after basically barely eating for days or taking care of yourself you decided to go for a walk to clear your mind so you walked and walked roll you reached the woods...and you kept walking,you were trying to clear your mind while listening to your favourite band....You thought to yourself how once these woods were the spot of having fun with him are now just a bitter reminder of the past...

" [Y/n] " you heard your name begin called....but you were alone...great depression and now haunting voices ,you ignored whatever the fuck was that and continued walking then you stopped dead I'm your track as you are now face to face with noun other than that BITCH*shockwave* his red optic is staring right at your soul "YOU MOTHERFUg-"

He cut you before you continue" [y/n] do not resist" he said before you got any chance to even realized why he said that ,he reached out for something that released gas and you suddenly felt sleepy...shit.and found yourself falling to the ground before you found yourself begin held by...him...You couldn't even tell him to screw off before you slipped to dream land

Finely shockwave ex-vented deeply as he held you closer to him and put his helm on your shoulder, he is going to make sure you are happy again ,he is going to take care of you just like promised

He is your friend after all

Let’s get something straight, Shockwave is so touch starved that it is almost sad.

If he has had a rough day, he will just walk into the lab, activate his holoform and would hug you from behind.

Sleeping together is a must for him✨ (not like that pErVeRt). He loves waking up with you in his strong arms.

His favorite position is spooning. He will mainly be big spoon but it depends on his mood. If it’s been a really bad day for him, he wants nothing more than for you to hold him tight and for you to let him know you are there.

Despite his extremely cold exterior, he loves to show you love! He will treat you with sweet kisses and whisper sweet nothings in your ear. He is easy to make blush and just by touching his little ear fins, he could be left a blushing mess. (I find his ear fins adorable because that’s how he shows his emotions-)

He will let you perch on his shoulder while he works, being mindful not to move to fast or else you could get hurt.

He has a problem with overworking himself so you often beg for him to get some sleep, which he would ignore till you get serious.

When he does give in, he would give you soft kisses on your lips while you would just hold his holoform close on the bed.

You two would almost always wake up together and he would have his legs wrapped around yours.

He isn’t a morning person surprisingly, and would often complain how it would be “Illogical” to get up at any time earlier than 9.

Overall, there is more than meets the eye to this mech. (Hahah I am funny)
