A small rant
I hate how right-wingers try to excuse spreading hateful or ignorant ideas as "just a joke" or "I'm just asking questions". Like they somehow think that jokes or questions cannot be rhetorical.
It's like some people think that ideas just don't affect the real world in any tangible form. Like they are just having a purely theoretical conversation that effects nobody at all.
People on the right need to realize that rhetoric is very capable of inspiring violence. Saying shit like "trans people are groomers" is the kind of shit that gets trans people killed.
And public figures who advocate hateful rhetoric will always try to distance themselves from the consequences of their words, saying shit like "I never said I condone violence", even when violence is the natural logical conclusion of their words. Yall cannot act like implying that Jews run the world is not a call to action to commit violence against them, that is pure bullshit.

"all men are evil" is radfem/terf rhetoric, but clarifying "all cis men" because you want to signal that you're not transphobic doesn't work because it's still deeply rooted in radfem beliefs. It's saying you believe there's something inherently evil in being born/assigned "male", and you carry it over in how you treat ppl who transition in or out of that gender. "All cis men are evil", is gender essentialist and you can't get around that.

something I find kinda interesting about radfems is that because they believe that womanhood is characterized by universal experiences of trauma and oppression, and because they believe that only they and people who agree with them correctly understand the nature of this oppression, they end up sounding like they believe that the only reason women would like things that they think are bad is if they're somehow being tricked into liking it
does a woman like wearing makeup or revealing clothes? patriarchal brainwashing. a cis woman who identifies as a lesbian dating a trans woman with a penis? she's doing it out of guilt or pity, or she was pressured into it. afab people coming out as non-binary or trans men? that's just internalized misogyny making them want to escape womanhood. hijabi women keeping their heads covered and dressing modestly? obviously they've been pressured into it by their oppressive islamic upbringing. women who are into kink, particularly if they're submissive? abuse victims who don't realize their male partners are taking advantage of them
women aren't allowed to like things under radical feminism. every aspect of a woman's life is either a political statement or a decision made under duress. women have free will and agency unless they disagree with me, in which case they're helpless victims who can't recognize how oppressed they truly are.
don't get me wrong, I think it's worth examining why you enjoy doing the things you're doing. the modern state of corporatized pop-feminism has found a way to frame nearly every act, regardless of how harmful to one's self or others, as feminist, and that's a trap that you certainly don't want to fall into. but the vision of womanhood that radfems paint is so bleak and joyless that it can never adequately act as an answer to that problem

trans men are allowed to talk about their experiences. trans men talking about trans man experiences is important- it helps other trans men figure out who they are, and helps others who are not understand.
trans men talking about trans man experiences does not take space or ability to speak from anyone else. we are not talking over or silencing other trans people by existing. we are populating the space we rightfully deserve to occupy. we have space within the trans community- our own space, that we specifically speak on. it does not take away from everyone else's space, just like theirs dont take away from ours. we are supposed to occupy space.
if you believe trans men being vocal about their experiences, injustices, struggles, dysphoria and so in is trans men "trying to take over the trans community", admit you sipped the "all men = bad" terf kool aid one too many times. any rhetoric designed to pit trans women and men against one another is terf rhetoric. please be aware of this.

My brother in Christ, the rights of trans people, especially black trans women, in the U.S are in grave danger right now thanks to the ignorant and bigoted politicians that run our already corrupt government. People who want nothing more than to silence our voices because our mere existence alone makes them uncomfortable. If shutting down the voices of those who are actively suffering in the trans community because you want to make peace with heteronormative patriarchal society, a place that has never truly accepted us, or because you simply don’t want to acknowledge it is your idea of pride, then you are not an ally. You are part of the problem.
Pride was never meant to be silent. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
