oh my, the first humanization in my life

I have been very tired with university, and with little motivation to draw, I don't know why, but I wanted to make a fanart of Death, I had a different idea of the pose in my head, but I really like the result.
For some reason drawing him seems very fun to me, although I didn't like the other 2 fanarts I made of him, I think this one turned out much better and more expressive.
A sketch I did at around 12 am, I did it in a few hours, so sorry if it's out of proportion. I didn't really like the first drawing I did with this character, so I decided to try it again, and exaggerate the light and the proportions a bit. What do you think? I don't quite like the pose and color palette, so I think I'll just leave it as a sketch :0

Maybe I don't understand, not everything, that'd be a lie. For only you'd comprehend your feelings whole and sometimes even we can't understand what we feel, so to say I completely understand would be a total lie. But I do know, what it feels like to wanna be up, to give up that sleep and be invested in a conversation, to risk being sleepy the next day than to sleep and surrender all that could have been. I've been there, those sleepy days may feel terrible but every moment, every conversation of that night keeps me smiling and lifted through the day. Sometimes, there's even a glimmer of excitement hoping for the same the following night.

I just watched Puss in boots the last wish in theaters and it was even better than what Tumblr lead me to believe! Like I see death all over now and he's awsome but in the movie with all the context he's even better!
