Or: TFW your son looks like a copy+paste version of your beloved dead mother you don’t even remember, and so project your want of Mother onto said son causing him to push you & your expectations of Mother away, only to unknowingly become more like Mother because you never even knew her at all, so any actions carried out under the assumption of ‘What would she not do?’ was really running into the arms of her true spirit and oh, have mercy— now they are both looking at you but you can no longer tell where one begins and the other ends anymore, if they were ever even distinct to begin with because had you ever been able to tell, had you ever wanted to??
