It took so long but I now have a Tango design. This is a huge milestone I spent four hours on this drawing but this was years in the making I’ve wanted to draw him for so long but didn’t have a design.

I kinda hate it, but I spent too long on this not to post it. Tango is one of my favorite lifers/hermits, but I literally never draw him because I can’t figure out a design I like. Also I tried a new thing where I drew it grayscale first and then colored underneath the shading, and idk how I feel about it, but it was fun so I might do it again. Also I’m in the early learning phases of learning how to draw semi-realistically so um ignore the fact that his face is real derpy. Also if anyone has seen tango’s nose he appears to be missing it and would probably like it back now.

a partially rendered Tango wip! And you might be thinking, “but Ian, this doesn’t match any of your other drawings of Tango! In fact, every time you draw ANYONE, it’s a different design every single time! You’re so inconsistent!!!” And to that I cackle evilly and draw even more inconsistent designs. Hah. Take that. You thought you could criticize me and my indecision? Well, I laugh in the face of genuine and accurate criticism!! In fact, I’ll laugh right now! Hahahahhahahahahahh-

He’s so silly! He’s got a decked out 2 key around his neck because I love the idea of hermits having little mementos from past seasons, and he’s got some red stone dust on his sweatshirt, the silly! Also, all evil laughter and insults aside, I am going to try to come up with more consistent designs for all my favorite blorbos, so I guess consider this the first one, unless I change my mind, which is also likely.

So. I was a part of local hermitzine last year, and now I can finally share with you my artwork

It was a very fun experience. I love hermitcraft, and i whatched tango and bdubs before, so big eye crew was a perfect group for me to represent on the pages of this fanzine. I had a chance to work with a bunch of great artists whose art impressed me so much. And I finally tried something new with my own style. I really put down a lot of work and dedication into this (135 hours on timelaps). Even though I feel like right now I can do better, it was the peak of my abilities at that time. I'm very glad I've been a part of this thing, and I certainly want to try again.

Day 14: groups and collabs @hermitadaymay

Not my best work cuz it was very rushed and after the most intense uno game at midnight I just had no energy 😭🙏 but I still think it turned out cute and I had a lot of fun!!

Fun headcannon, I like to imagine it’s a page from Zeds scrap book and he loves collecting photos of his friends and putting them into collages

Day 3: tango tek!!

I told myself I wasn’t gonna do a full page art for anyone cuz I don’t want to burn myself out and then suddenly it was tango day and he just appeared

I got a bit carried away with designing him but I have never had so much fun drawing I’m so happy with this piece

I don’t draw scenes often but I hope I was able to make it clear the Teknicians are putting a blanket over tango and taking his goggles off, cuz he fell asleep at his desk
