Y'all, I'm not gonna lie, I'm kinda scared to show my OCs on here. Like, I know that a lot of people make their own characters for their favorite medias, but I have such a problem with keeping track.

It's especially bad for Criminal Minds, because that's the OC that I draw and talk about the most, and I've created so many AUs with him and the BAU, but I can't talk about it all without introducing him. I'm serious, I've spammed my best friend (who I'm not even friends with anymore 😭😭) with so many imagines and scenarios with him, and I have no one else who's as interested. And as far as I know, the Criminal Minds fandom isn't too keen on OCs.

Anyways, it's time to introduce y'all to Kenick Reid.

Kenick [REDACTED] was born in Castroville, Texas on October 13th, 1979, in his childhood home. His French parents were cannibals, and they forced him into the same lifestyle. They didn't want him, but because they were hiding from police due to suspicious behavior—they moved to Virginia when he was five—they kept him. However, they severely abused him until their untimely deaths when he was ten. He was taken in by his best friend’s family, whose father was killed while drunk-driving (which he later found out was the reason why his own parents died). A couple years later, when he was eighteen, his best friend’s mother was murdered, and when he saw how distraught she became, he set out to hunt down the killer. Using his instincts, he found the killer and turned him to the police. Ever since that day, he set out to join the FBI so he could help even more people.

On the day of his interview, Kenick ran into Spencer Reid, and he instantly fell in love. However, when Derek teased him, Spencer wanted to show how unaffected he was by being snarky and dismissive to Kenick, even though he loved him, too. They both eventually confessed their feelings during the Lila Archer case (season one, episode eighteen, "Somebody's Watching"), and became a couple. They married on October 21st 2009 and renewed their vows on the same date ten years later. They have three kids, one of which (their first) was birthed by Kenick’s old friend—they named her Diana, after Spencer’s mother. They then had a pair of twins (they both donated) and named them Albert and Edgar. 

Kenick had a pet snake named Échelles that was unfortunately killed while he was out on a case with the rest of the BAU, and he owns a horse named Luscious. He can be more than a little rambunctious and sarcastic, but he uses that front to cover up all his insecurities and fears. He sometimes struggles with relapse on cannibalism, but Spencer always pulls him out before he can, and vice versa with Spencer's addiction. Kenick’s a vegetarian. He speaks English, French, and Spanish, and he talks in a Southern accent when he’s passionate. He's also short as fuck (4'9).
