• Max’s diary. (the way she thinks of herself so lowly, the way she’s so homesick throughout the whole game, the way she misses Chloe even when they’re together, the way she’s so nostalgic of something she’s lost forever, the way she tries so hard to be a good person even when she makes mistakes—)

• the way Max just knows when Chloe hands her the picture

• Victoria when you make fun of her

• Rachel’s doe watching from afar when Max and Chloe find her body

• the way Max and Chloe look at each other for a split second after Max kisses Chloe and she pulls away. there’s nothing concretely sad about it but whenever I see this scene it just hurts.
