a messy drawing of the king sitting cross legged and hunched, one hand on his knee and the other up in a flat palmed gesture. he is looking down at siffrin, who is standing before him, looking miniscule in comparison. the king is speaking, saying "hey man (gender neutral) are you sure you want to do this right now? like seriously i mean it are you sure? are you absolutely sure?"
another messy drawing, this time zoomed in on siffrin, who is standing there looking up at him with a completely blank, shadowed expression. he has dropped his hand flat on the ground next to them. he's still talking, saying "i mean. listen. not to be rude or anything but you look like shit. just complete and utter garbage. i dont know that this is even going to be a fair fight. like. you can take a break, you know?" siffrin does, indeed, look like shit.
basically the same image as previous, except now siffrin is glancing down at the king's hand. their expression is still completely blank. the king is still speaking, saying "i mean. you could take a quick cat nap? 20-30 minutes, maybe? it's not like your friends are gonna be here any time soon, and we literally have all the time in the universe. it really couldn't hurt to just take a chill pill. speaking of your friends, what you said to them was fucked up. that was fucked up, man. what is wrong with you."
nearly the same image as previous, and the king continues to speak, saying "also what was up with the counter thing. don't think i don't know about that, i could hear the explosion from here. like. why did you do that? you didn't have to do that. i mean, honestly, it's pretty concerning that you made it up here on your own but like you didn't need to wreck shop while you were at it. people live here dude. they're going to have to deal with your mess." siffrin has crouched down to be just above the king's thumb. one hand holding their dagger high in the air, preparing to strike.

an extremely normal heart to heart between two very mentally stable fellas.
