My human!

Bots can be pretty overprotective and possessive over their human(s). Especially when being given affection or being cleaned. For example like this person with her lion.

I imagine one day Sam is giving Bumblebee a car wash when Barricade shows up.

The war is over in this au and he's reformed so he's not going to be blasted. Anyways he's got to talk with Sam about something but Bee is having none of that. He revva his engines, threatens him with a blaster, etc. Sam is like calm your maggy ass down. Doesn't work. So he has to finish the wash before he can talk to Barricade.

Another idea is one day Optimus gets hit with something that makes him revert to a feral thing using only his base coding for logic. The autobots are all there when it happens. At first it's kinda fine he's just acting like an overgrown puppy. Then the former decepticon barricade drives over to them with Sam inside to be dropped off. Optimus sees this then absolutely loses it and flings himself at them.

He flees very scared/confused, with Optimus in hot pursuit. The autobots explain through comm links what is happening with him. Eventually Optimus reaches them so Barricade has to transform to protect himself plus the human. When the prime sees Sam plopped out on the grass he immediately goes to grab him. Scared as hell Sam dodges the hand then books it to a little cave nearby. Barricade tries to fend off Optimus as long as he can but he's only one bot. When the prime beats him he runs after Sam trying to grab him again. Sam just in time manages to make it into the cave. The feral transformer desperately claws at the ground trying all he can to get him out. After a few minutes of frantic digging the human hears a kind old microwave type of noise that somehow is soothing? Sam takes a peak to see that Optimus was making the noise; with some of the most heartbroken eyes he's ever seen. When the autobots catch up they recognize the sound that's being made. Creators would use it to call for their sparklings. Finally knowing that Optimus didn't actually want to hurt Sam he comes out (I'm gay) of the cave. Big ole bot grabs him asap and affectionately nuzzles him, scent, hug, etc him.

It takes two days for the effects to wear off so Sam and Bee have to deal with a lot of mother heaning. He's protective of the other bots too but these two are his fragile babies!

I got inspired by @1244950 interpretation of Bayverse and Transformers Prime interactions with each other. Especially Bayverse Optimus with him finding out about TFP MegOp and everything. Hilarious stuff.

I'm glad that someone loves Bayverse Optimus a lot to actually take a look into his character in a different light other then just lable him as a "cold blooded sociopath". It baffles me actually.

So have my love for the Bayverse franchise. No matter how bad they are, they're the reason I'm in the Transformers Fandom.

I just made a bull horn laugh at this.

It’s so insanely funny to me how Sam Witwicky was killed off-screen by a fucking TORNADO.

LIKE IMAGINE A BUNCH OF ALIEN DEITIES GIVING YOU A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE, AND YOU STILL END UP GETTING KILLED BY A FUCKING TORNADO.

PLEASE I LOVE THIS FATHER DAUGHTER MOMENT WITH MIC (my oc) AND OPTIMUS

To Be a Father

A/N: I am pleasantly surprised at how well this turned out, and I must say I believe it to be one of the best that I’ve written! Hopefully you’ll think the same, haha.

Happy Father’s Day to all you dads out there. You rock. <3

Title: To Be a Father

Summary: Optimus spends the day with you by the lake.

Words: 3048

It wasn’t often that Optimus Prime got a day off from his duties, but when he did, each time was more likely than not going to be spent with you. In previous years it had proved quite difficult to do so, as you had school to attend and lived with your family in an entirely different state, but as soon as you turned eighteen you took up an apprenticeship at NEST. Your brother, Sam, had also been offered one, but apparently he much preferred the quiet life as opposed to you, who took up the aspiration to somehow be involved in the military as soon as all things Cybertron came to Earth. Of course, Optimus adored the extra time he got to have with you, but he vaulted straight into what Will and Epps had dubbed his ‘Daddy Mode’ any time something even partially dangerous cropped up and completely refused when you asked to join him. You still shivered at how mad he’d been that one time when he’d discovered how you’d sneaked out of the Base to follow him and the other ‘Bots… granted, he’d only discovered you because a Decepticon had somehow managed to slice through your upper arm, and that was most likely the reason why he’d been so mad and refused even more from thereon after… but, still. You’d joined for the whole military experience, and that certainly wasn’t what you were receiving.

It had come as somewhat of a shock at the beginning when Optimus began to act as though he were your father. After all, who could get used to seeing a robot look after a human as though she were his own? Nevertheless, that shock had subsided almost five years ago. Now, it would be a surprise if the alien Commander didn’t treat you as he did. Everyone had accepted it, and it was practically custom at the Base to expect nothing less than Optimus being the one they go to when something concerned you.

He was your guardian, no doubts about it, and neither of you would have it any different.

“I can’t throw this to you!”

Lake Chelan was beautiful on a summer’s day. The cool, blue-grey water glistened in the evening sun, dancing on the the small ripples of waves as they glossed over the surface. The trees surrounding it rustled in the warm breeze, leaves toppling off and floating down to the grassy ground where they lay surrounded by wild flowers and mounds of dew-dropped blades of emerald.

Both you and Optimus had first visited it when exploring the new Headquarter’s surroundings in Washington. Thankfully, it had been winter at the time, so the place had been empty enough that nobody noticed the thirty-two foot alien robot trekking through the trees with a human sitting on his right shoulder, and the two of you had been able to explore as thoroughly as possible. It must have been on the third trip to the lake that you’d stumbled - and quite literally at that. Optimus had tripped over a fallen log and barrelled straight through a rather large canopy of trees and bushes - across what you’d since dubbed your ‘secret hideaway’. It was a beautiful area of the lake which had seemed pretty undisturbed, housing all sorts of creatures that unfortunately ran as soon as Optimus came crashing through their home. It was overgrown, dotted with flowers which were all the colours of the rainbow, right next to the glittering lake, and it was utterly beautiful. Optimus had done his best to arrange all the trees and such back into the places they had previously been so that it would remain a secret to everybody but the both of you, and, so far, even after four or so years, neither of you had encountered anyone else in that part of the lake.

Today was one of those rare days in which the Prime has been given a day off, along with many other men at NEST. It was what the humans called ‘Father’s Day’, and those who had children to return home to had been granted permission to do so. Optimus was no exception. He had bustled you into his truck and sped off towards Lake Chelan with absolutely no sign of hesitation, and the two of you had been there for six hours, now. The sun was beginning to set, casting a magnificent glow over the shining lake and painting a gorgeous canvas of reds and oranges and yellows in the clear sky. He doubted the both of you would get home at all tonight, if your complete lack of boredom had anything to say about it, but he couldn’t admit that he cared that much. He did not mind where he was, as long as he was with you, and you were happy. The moment he returned home, work and his duties would slap him right back in the face.

“Of course you can.”

“No, I can’t. This is Will’s ball, and I’m not gonna return it to him, completely squashed, with a crappy explanation like ‘I threw it to Optimus and he burst it’.” You gave the ‘Bot a look, hugging the blue blow-up ball to your chest, and Optimus chuckled. He was sat on the ground, one leg stretched out in front of him while the other was bent at the knee, and both arms braced on the grass behind him. He was the most relaxed he’d been in quite a while, and most stoic generals who marvelled at the Autobots every time they visited NEST would more than likely feel faint at one sight of the position the stern and battle-ready robot was currently in.

He shook his head. “You over-estimate my strength,” he told you, and you scoffed.

“Nobody can over-estimate your strength.” You turned and threw the ball in the air. “We’ll have to find a bigger ball.”

“One that is not plastic.”

“And one that won’t burst at a slight touch of your finger.”

Optimus smiled. “We best get to searching once we return, then.”

You mirrored his smile, throwing the ball once again. A bird flew over you, followed by a couple of what you supposed to be its babies, and you couldn’t help but laugh as Optimus immediately moved his head, not fancying another case in which birds attempted to nest on him. Waking up with an itching feeling and reaching his hand up only to pull back in surprise when the ruffle of feathers and cacophony of chirping reached his audio receptors was not something he wanted to experience again. You had not stopped laughing for at least half an hour after while he sat, back resting against a tree, arms crossed over his chest and the most ill-tempered look on his face.

You threw the ball up once again and quickly clasped your hands together, bouncing it on your fists when gravity pulled it down. One of those hands immediately came up to clap over your mouth as the ball flew straight towards the Prime and hit him right in the optic. He made a shout of both surprise and discomfort, one of his flapping arms covering where it had hit. “Ow…”

“Optimus, I am soho sorry,” you apologised, though the giggles spilling from your mouth did not aid at all in moving that apology along the right path. “I didn’t- Ihihi didn’t mean to do thahat.”

Optimus grumbled something in Cybertronian under his breath. “When do you ever…” he muttered.

You shrugged. “At least it wasn’t the birds.”

The ‘Bot narrowed his optics and immediately made to leap up after you, causing you to squeal, turn around and dive into the water. Optimus’s mood changed immediately and he frantically shook his head, leaning forward and making a grab for you, but you were already completely submerged. “Those are the only clothes we have with us, Y/N,” he lightly scolded as you reached the surface and gasped for air, hair plastered over your grinning face.

“I don’t care! The water’s warm!”

“That is what you said the last time before you proceeded to come down with the influenza.” He heaved a sigh and leaned back, seeing that there was nothing he could do now. If you suffered through another nasty sickness, then he couldn’t say he hadn’t tried to stop you.

“I’m gonna swim to the other side,” you told him, and he rose an optic ridge.

“Are you, now?”

Biting your lip, you swam up to the edge of the lake and crossed your arms over on the grass, resting your chin on top of them. “Optimus,” you said, gaining a very sweet smile, “can I swim to the other side of the lake? Pretty please?”

The Prime smiled. “Yes, but be careful out there. If you drown, do not expect me to save you.” He winked, cobalt optics twinkling mischievously, and you laughed.

“I wouldn’t expect anything less.” Before the Prime could question what exactly that meant, you were off. He shook his head fondly and gazed out across the lake, marvelling at the mountains in the distance as the slight wind breezed over him. His silent peace was swiftly interrupted, however, as he noticed an incoming call. Frowning, he accepted it quickly. “Optimus Prime,” he said as way of greeting, sitting up.

“Optimus, hi. It’s Ron. Ron Witwicky.” The ‘Bot visibly relaxed at that, having previously been worried that it may have been Ratchet or somebody back at Base, telling him he needed to return due to an emergency.

“Good evening, Mister Witwicky,” he said. “How may I help you?”

“Ah, I was just wondering if Y/N was anywhere nearby? I tried calling her mobile but she won’t answer.” Optimus glanced over at the backpack you’d thrown by a tree a little way off. No doubt your phone had been going off in there for a while, but when you were faced with nature - especially when you were with him - electronics no longer became a thing of existence to you.

“Yes, she is here, though…” He turned his head slightly, noticing how you were still splashing through the water. “I am afraid she is quite far out in the lake as of now.”

He heard Ron chuckle. “At Lake Chelan, are you?”

“We are, yes.”

“Typical. Said she’d ring me this afternoon to wish me a Happy Father’s Day and it’s, what? Six pm, now?” He breathed a laugh, and Optimus could imagine him shaking his head fondly. “That girl, Optimus, I swear to God.”

The Prime smiled. “I apologise on her behalf, Mister Witwicky,” he said. “I shall remind her to call you once she gets back.”

“Yes, you do that, big guy. Tell her her dad’s been spending the day drinking beer and watching her mom’s channels on TV. Make her feel guilty.”

Optimus threw back his head and laughed. “Oh, I will,” he said. “Where’s Sam?”

“With his girlfriend, I expect. He called in this morning, which was great, but it’s pretty tough not having a Father’s Day hug from my little girl for the first time ever.” Ron’s voice drifted off a little, and Optimus nodded to himself, completely understanding. You were, after all, his only daughter and youngest child. To have you living hours away from him must be extremely trying, for both you and your parents - and Sam, at that. Primus knew how difficult it was for him to cope when you had to leave to go back home and he knew that he would not see you for another few months. He could only imagine how your family felt.

“Of course,” he said understandingly, “though she will be visiting fairly soon, remember that. She misses you and her mother, also, as she does Sam. I am sorry it is proving hard for you.”

“Oh, don’t be sorry. She’s eighteen - I sometimes forget that’s how old she is - and she’s gotta go out and make her own way at some point, right? I’m damn happy she has you with her. If she didn’t… let me tell you, Optimus, both Judy and I would be worried sick. But the simple fact that you’re keeping an eye on her means the world to us.”

The Autobot smiled. “I assure you, Mister Witwicky, I am keeping both eyes on her. She is safe, and I’m sure it will give you great relief to know that she is very happy. She gets on tremendously well with the rest of the men, and, as you know, my ‘Bots are every bit as much her protectors as I am.”

“That means a lot, pal, thank you. It really does.”

“Hey, Optimus! There’re fish out here!” The Autobot glanced up as your voice echoed around the lake, and he smiled when he saw you out in the middle, treading water while you spun around, seemingly following the fish beneath you.

“See if you are quick enough to catch one for your dinner!” he called back, and if he was close enough he was positive he would have seen you roll your eyes. He heard chuckling on the other end of the line. “I assume you heard that?” he asked, and Ron’s laughter grew.

“I did, indeed. You wouldn’t think she was eighteen, would you?”

“No. She still has that flare of innocence and complete youthfulness that I remember seeing in her all those years ago.”

It was silent for a moment before the man spoke again. “We did good with her, didn’t we?” he said, and though Optimus sub-consciously frowned for a moment, wondering what he meant by ‘we’, he nodded.

“Yes,” he replied, “I believe we did.”

“You know, this is as much your Father’s Day as it is mine, Optimus.”

Ah. That must have been what he meant. Optics widening the smallest bit, he opened his mouth to speak before shutting it again and waiting a moment. “It… is?”

“Yeah, pal, of course. You’ve known her for as long as she can remember! You’re her guardian, her protector… she considers you her family. Hell, we all do. That kid wouldn’t be half the person she is today without your help, Optimus. You keep her out of trouble, both when she’s with you and when she’s here at home.” He paused for a second. “Do you remember that time she got so moody just because she missed you? She was fourteen, then.”

Optimus’s face softened as he immediately plunged back into some of the sweetest memories of his life. “I do,” he said. “Sam called me up and asked me to talk some sense into her, and I told her not to be upset on my account and to simply think about the fun we would have when she came to visit in the summer.”

“And she cheered right up,” Ron said, smile evident in his voice.

Optimus weakly shrugged. “Patience is not one of her strong suits.”

“Yeah, definitely not,” the man said with a laugh. “Look, what I’m trying to say here is… you are a father to her. Whether you like it or not, whether you meant for it to happen or not, you are, and you’re a pretty amazing one at that. I’m thankful for you, Optimus, really, I am. You’ve shone a light on our girl’s life that I would never have been able to put there alone. You devote a lot of your own life to her, even though you’re busy as hell, you reprimand her, praise her, look after her when she’s sick, teach her what’s right and wrong… sometimes I’m learning from you. You are what it means to be a father.”

Optimus was, quite honestly, a little lost for words. Of course, he had always seen himself as some sort of father-figure to you, but to hear your actual father say it himself meant more to him than he could ever have imagined. He’d always worried about it - about how much time he was spending with you compared to how much you were spending with Ron. Would he ever be jealous? Upset? Angry, even? That someone else had stepped into your life and was now sharing his role as father? He would never wish to take that away from either of you, but to completely give up this role would have been torture for him, so he hadn’t. And yet that thought had always been nagging in the back of his mind. Nevertheless, to hear that your father was, in fact, one hundred percent grateful and, in actuality, relieved for the support in raising you gave peace to his entire being.

A smile spread across his face, and he couldn’t help but sigh in what could only be relief. “I cannot explain in words what that means to me, Mister Witwicky. I hold what you have said very close to my spark, and I can only say that it is my absolute honour to be able to share this with you. I love helping in looking after your daughter, and I love her. More than I will ever be able to say. Thank you.”

“It’s nothing but my pleasure, Optimus, honestly. Who else can say they share fathering duties with an alien robot, huh?”

Optimus chuckled, turning his head to gaze out at the lake yet again and easily catching sight of you continuously diving under the water and resurfacing seconds later, apparently trying your luck at catching a fish. His smile widened. “Not many people, I would assume,” he said.

“She still swimming?”

“Yes, though I can call her back if you wish to speak with her now?”

“Oh, no, no. I want her to spend this day with at least one of her dads. I’ll call her later.”

The Prime nodded. “Alright. It was nice speaking with you.”

“And you. Happy Father’s Day, Optimus.”

Looking back across the lake once more, Optimus was surprised, to say the least, when he saw you splashing around in the water, a fish struggling in your hands. He rose an optic ridge, lost for words for a brief moment, before he blinked and shook his head, breathing a soft laugh.

Ah, the joys of fatherhood.

“Happy Father’s Day, Ron.”

Do the once humans still talk to there old human friends

Hi Jaden! (Thanks for the question, and thanks again for waiting).

Unfortunately not. In fact, this question is more complex, because it has root causes and consequences for cyberformed humans. The thing is, initially, !originally!. The Cybertronians assumed that when human society becomes more progressive, the cyberformed will be able to communicate with their loved ones, family members and friends again. They conducted some negotiations to prepare the loved ones and relatives of the cyberformed and reveal this secret to them. However, this was met with resistance from the human side. The human government was righteously indignant that this creates major risks for disclosure to the public, that the union will be destroyed and the Cybertronians will not be welcome and it will not matter whether it is a Decepticon or an Autobot.

And it's not just that it was objectively really difficult, during that time a decent number of people had gathered who would have to be enlightened on the topic of cyberformation. And the fact that the human government had its own selfish thoughts and plans, which they did not seek to tell their alien guests. It was decided to isolate the cyberformed from human society, yes, at first they were still people in the eyes of the agents, but this did not last very long. The more time passed, the more agents changed. Those who initially knew that this or that mech was once a person became fewer and fewer. In addition, in order to reduce intimacy, agents were periodically changed, sent on vacation and returned. The human government created strict regulations for communication with former people in order to deliberately distance people from them mentally. (According to the principle that has been in effect for a long time "They are not us, and therefore enemies").

When a unit with secret agents was created, and every former human disappeared from the databases, the global network, they simply deleted them from "reality". "Are you human? Where is this proven? What, what data? There is none" - the government will say about what was stored on Diego Garcia or Deception, the world would simply recognize it as a fake. Cyberformed became a government secret, a trump card that could be used and, admittedly, they were good enough to hide their intentions behind one or another trick. Since all the data was mainly stored in paper form, this went past the optics of the Cybertronians and the thoughts of cyberformed people. The government's plans were to turn former humans into weapons (more on this in the next part of the lore).

Just imagine how one of the cyberformed people looks at his servos. And in his processor a ton of thoughts swarms "what is going on?" Why do former relatives of his species reject him, why can't he communicate with former friends. The loss of this contact is terrifying, so it is not surprising that cyberformed cling to each other and have extremely close bonds. No one wants to be alone… Humans and Cybertronians are social species, we need communication to live a full life!

Yeah… The next parts of the lore will be filled with angst. Hold on tight guys.

How do you define consent?

Hi Anon! So let's give a little warning before I tell you, because I don't want you to misunderstand me or think that I approve of some dubious things. Okay? Okay!

Warning: Dubious consent is not consent, okay? If you ask a person indirectly and he gives indirect consent, it is not consent. This is bad. You shouldn't do this. Consent should be given to a normal question. Direct question, direct answer. (If you are communicating with a person from another country, then before agreeing to something, clarify what he means. Because the person himself may not understand that his ordinary question in his culture means one thing and in yours another, this is normal, we are different).

In fact, I think that we humans and Cybertronians most likely have a striking cultural difference (Before arriving on Earth, they didn't even have a concept of gender, guys, what is understandable to us is obviously not understandable to them. And their cultural characteristics are incomprehensible to us, for example, discrimination by body type and function). That is why the topic of consent to cyberformation is extremely, well, complex.

What exactly is the problem with consent to Cyberformation. Rather, it is that when the Cybertronians first arrived on Earth, no one thought that they had a completely different culture. Well, more precisely, people thought about it, but not as much as they should have. The Autobots communicated and communicated well with people, were extremely polite whenever possible and cautious with earthlings. This created the impression that they had the same cultural norms as we do on Earth, this misconception was a mistake. Cybertronians have their own language, holidays, customs and other elements of a developed culture, so everyone seemed to have slightly forgotten that they were still aliens. This is not bad, it's just that this difference in culture was absolutely important for understanding. (We have a situation among different cultures where during communication we can say something that is common for one people, but unfamiliar to another. For this, we need to understand and study other cultures in order to avoid embarrassment).

When Cybertronians want to cyberform a person, they just have a normal conversation. There is no strange atmosphere, just a casual conversation during which there may be questions like “Would you like to explore outer space? / Would you like to protect your home planet? / Would you like us to be friends forever? / Would you like to see other planets?” and so on and so forth. The question can be anything, mostly from the area of what interests the person. Naturally, the person will most likely answer yes to such a question, and the Cybertronians perceive this as consent. Understand? For them, this is not a dubious consent, but simply “Yes”. This is just a normal conversation, so in essence, there is an embarrassment of misunderstanding between the person and the Cybertronian. Perhaps it is also precisely in linguistics, the language and sentence structure in Cybertronian can differ. This is precisely why there are not many “bad” reactions to cyberforming, they still exist yes. But I think it is difficult to be angry with someone when you both understand that there was a misunderstanding and confusion.

I hope you understand me. Cybertronians will not intentionally cyberform you if they refuse their question. For illustration purposes, there is a character in my AU who was not cyberformed because he gave a direct refusal.

Captain Carmine Fanzone, he worked with the Autobots and especially Prowl for a long time. He is an excellent policeman, loyal, although his attitude was still very specific, but he believed that the Autobots had good intentions (which was confirmed more than once). Captain Fanzone as an agent, monitored the Autobots' missions near cities to avoid attacks by Decepticons on civilians and to avoid traffic jams and reduce casualties to a minimum. Prowl considered him quite outstanding and his loyalty to his cause was respected by him. I think Fanzone and Prowl got along well, so when the topic of "Would Fenzone like to protect everyone" was raised in an everyday conversation, he answered that he did not. Fenzone simply explained that it was physically impossible to protect everyone and that he was simply doing everything in his power to help his people and those who trusted him. Prowl took it calmly and then did not ask such questions anymore, having received a refusal, he simply accepted someone else's choice and respected his decision to remain human and protect others. He didn't try to convince him that "if only there was such a possibility." Prowl simply knows that these words were a lie (even Cybertronians are not capable of protecting everyone, as a senior officer he knows this better than anyone).

Well, I hope you understand me correctly and my answer will satisfy you. Thank you for this question, it was really difficult. The topic is extremely difficult because, I hope I managed to convey my idea!

You implied cybertronian have done cyberforming to other species, Are any the current autobots or decepticon cyberformed aliens? and if so who?

Hi Anon! (I enjoy mentally pondering Cybertronian culture and eras, so thanks.)

The image is not mine, but I really wanted to insert some picture with a Cybertronian landscape (this one is taken from a comic, but I don’t remember the artist exactly).

Yes, Cybertronians in the era of space expansion were engaged in cyberforming other species. This cultural aspect was strictly controlled at the top of the Cybertron council, which is why although it happened, it was not such a mass phenomenon. Probably this was due to the fact that an organic representative of a species had to really have outstanding abilities, prove themselves so that the pompous top, according to the words of another Cybertronian, considered them truly worthy. Unfortunately, this strict, sometimes openly xenophobic approach led to the fact that there were really few cyberformed, and even more so from one world (some Cybertronians do not like organic species or consider them inferior to themselves in development).

This created a kind of narrow selection. Even the most developed and wise Cybertronians from this era did not know that the cyberformed take various adaptive unique traits and programming from their home worlds, so they were not even particularly studied in this direction. Only if during medical examinations they could notice differences in some areas of the programs of the Cyberformed creatures, but since there was nothing to compare with, they thought that this was how it should be. In fact, the researchers took away the opportunity to learn about this, so on Earth with People it was a pleasant surprise. Cyberforming received a new round in study from the fact that a large number of representatives of one species were changed. (I will make one big lore post about this, I have it planned in the plan. About which corpus, what unique traits taken from Earth. I made a small spoiler about this in Q&A5, where I wrote about the "night seekers").

Regarding whether there are Cyberformed among the Autobots or Decepticons, no. There are none. It's not that it would be unlikely, but that there really weren't many Cyberformed, literally grains. Those few who were changed during the era of the Expansion of Cybertron due to the lack of brothers or at least those who went through this process in their environment obviously did not talk about it, fearing to receive contemptuous looks and comments about their origin. Obviously, they were alone, however, this does not mean that they did not have students.

On Cybertron, too, there seems to be a custom when a new bot from some middle or high caste is given under the wing of an older bot. I want to believe that Hound had one and that his mentor was a Cyberformed mech, perhaps that is why he does not have such an aversion to organics. It seems to me that Hound quickly feels quite natural in organic worlds (cautious and attentive). The same probably goes for Wheeljack and Jetfire, they didn't have a mentor, but a lab mate, a former organic member of the species. Of course, the Cyberformed kept it quiet and hid it for a long time until he trusted them enough to tell them. Kup and Ratchet are two of the older mechs who might have met one or two of these Cybertronians as well. They weren't that common anyway, the number of Cyberformed has always been extremely small. And while there are quite a few people who became Cybertronians in my AU, compared to the percentage of Cybertron's population, there still won't be many of them. With the restoration of Cybertron, they will literally dissolve into the society of their new home (However, I think they will probably be given some territory so that they can create their own small city and preserve their own uniqueness and culture).

Is romance ever a motivator for cyberforming? I saw some characters listed who are often shipped with bots Noah×Mirage Tracks×Raoul Charlie×Bumblebee ect are any of them cannon to your au and if so dose it change anything about the process or cyberforming or integration?

Hi Anon!

Is Romance Ever A Motivator For Cyberforming? I Saw Some Characters Listed Who Are Often Shipped With

My answer is yes, yes and yes again! Romantic interest can be one of the motivators for cyberformation. However, unfortunately, an Autobot cannot demonstrate this directly, even if a person reciprocates his interest. Other Cybertronians may consider his actions compromised, too personal and that he is not acting in the interests of protecting his precious ally and friend. Personal reasons should not stand above other reasons for this process, so most use the reason for the safety or usefulness of this or that person (Although there are nuances, each case is considered separately. No one is saying that this system has not been bypassed). You see, infatuation with both us humans and Cybertronians can be fleeting, and the process of cyberformation is not reversible, so in essence, the Cybertronian must be 100% that the feeling is reciprocated. I would say that this romantic interest can already emerge from a close friendship and connection between a human and a Cybertronian.

The senior Autobot officers (Prowl or Ultra Magnus in particular) have a strict position, if they suspect that cyberformation has questionable grounds, they will not give their permission. In their opinion, a person should become a part of Cybertronian society and bring something to it, be it intelligence, strength or other qualities. Optimus is more loyal in this regard, it is for this reason that he mainly gives permission (He simply knows that all Cybertronians are interested in their human friend becoming one of them, why should he refuse if the couple wants to be together? It's just that Prime usually asks both parties separately to make sure that the feelings are mutual).

This fact does not affect the process of Cyberform, but it does affect the subsequent stages. A Cybertronian who is romantically interested does not have the right to become a mentor to his ward. Another Cybertronian must become a mentor to the Cyberformed, so that the integration goes more smoothly and no one rushes things. In fact, a person must receive all the knowledge regarding the cultural context, communication, traditions, etc. during the adaptation process (including so that he knows what Amica Endura and Conjunx Endura are and the corresponding rituals). Only with this necessary knowledge for the former person, the couple can reunite later. This is done specifically so that there are no incidents, misunderstandings or culture shock. Well, and so that the Cyberformed is prepared for what to expect and how to properly respond to his lover.

And yes, in my AU there are such canon pairs, they include: – Optimus Prime x Cade Yeager – Chase x Charlie Burns – Mirage x Noah Diaz – Tracks x Raoul You may have your own view on the pairings, but these are the ones that I will probably mention periodically in my posts.

Cyberform AU: Answers to questions 6

Cyberform AU: Answers To Questions 6

Hi Anon! Ooooohhhhh✨! Thank you so much! I'm actually incredibly happy that so many people are interested in my idea, that they ask me questions. I'm just incredibly obsessed with my idea and it makes me happy to see other people's interest. It makes me incredibly happy, I'm like a sunflower getting all the light in the universe! I plan to continue developing all this by writing lore articles and answering questions, maybe making funny videos, drawing designs and making short stories! (Thank you, I'm so glad you like it and thanks for waiting, I hope you like the answer)

Sorry, I'm not answering directly, but it turns out there is a word limit on the "answer" post.

I was expecting this question because the attitude of Decepticons is a really interesting topic. I will say in advance that my plot is different due to the multiverse, but some events remain original. In fact, Decepticons from one show to another (as in the comics) are quite dismissive of people, not very kind at all. However, I like to think that this is only because they consider us imperfect, however, courage, determination, ingenuity, flexible mind, cunning and other our qualities actually pleasantly surprise them. I would say that they are too lazy to look closely at people and individuals on their own, they have many more important things to do. Despite this, there are also Decepticons who devote their time to studying humanity closer (Swindle and Lockdown, for example). In a way, they sympathize with us, because throughout the history of our species, we have had many revolutions to achieve a better world for ourselves. The Decepticons are quite capable of understanding this, moreover, they watch human conflicts with interest in my opinion (Their personal talk show, in which they do not even need to interfere). They are fascinated by the chaos of nature, which then generates order to repeat the cycle again (Megatron, for the most part, seems to me to believe that this is precisely the flexibility that the Cybertronians themselves lack).

Decepticons rely mostly on Autobots for cyberforming, they don't want to look at humans under close scrutiny themselves. They just look at those who have already been chosen by the Autobots, if they like someone for one reason or another, well… It's better for the poor person to hold on because their methods are less gentle. They won't even ask permission from a person for this important change in a life. Decepticons believe that a person should be flattered that they were considered strong and outstanding enough to be made a Cybertronian. Needless to say, the cyberforming process for the "victims" of the purple faction's attention is more emotionally unpleasant and painful due to the lack of empathy and support. They have no friendships, yes, Decepticons know the person they have chosen well, they have a connection, but it is business, and not a deep personal one like friendship. Does this create a question of the loyalty of the former people? Yeah, but Megatron clearly has a lot of experience in making even the most dubious mechs in his faction work for him, so that's obviously not a problem.

Autobot allies who suffer from Decepticon attention are usually fairly well protected (however, embarrassments still happen and they can receive Decepticon nanites in addition to those given to them by the Autobots). The Autobots have a modest list of those who have suffered from excessive attention from another faction, but fortunately the moral compass of these people is strong enough and they remain on their path together with the Autobots (unfortunately, in my story, this will still "shoot them in the knee joint").

The list of Autobot allies who were subjected to Decepticon nanites includes (In brackets I wrote the Decepticons from whom these people received nanites):

– William Lennox (Megatron), Robert Epps (Brawl), Mikaela Banes (Barricade), Chip Chase (It is very difficult to say who exactly, there were quite a lot of seekers, he was often kidnapped for ransom or exchange. There is a possibility that it was TC and Skywarp), Alexis (Starscream), Isaac Sumdac (Shockwave), June Darby (Airachnid), Rafael Esqivel (Soundwave).

However, this is not the end, there is a separate list of people who were elected by the Decepticons, without the help of the Autobots. Of course, the reasons for which they were elected were more complex, foggy, these individuals obviously correspond to the main feature of the Decepticons themselves, namely, cunning. In contrast to the number of allies of the Autobots, these people are several times smaller. And yet, these cyberformed have peculiar personal scores with those who were cyberformed by the Autobots. They transferred their personal confrontation to factional showdowns. The process of cyberformation is not much different from the one I described, mainly Shockwave monitors its process, who located one of his laboratories on Deception Island near Antarctica (irony pudums). This is a secluded place where people do not appear and no one can interfere with his work. The conditions outside the laboratory can be quite harsh even for Cybertronians, so it is a kind of fortress. The Autobots do not attack this place because the Decepticons' cyberformed people are still humans and they respect their lives.

Unlike the Autobot allies, the Decepticons' charges actively participate in combat. No one is particularly gentle with them, you either learn or you don't. And it's better to be a useful warrior, a medic, a hunter, than to be useless always under the risk that the faction's chief scientist will turn his gaze on you (he will still pay attention, former people surprisingly have unique features). Shockwave's lab has enough space, it's a full-fledged base for adaptation, training. Obviously, the new "Deceptics" have their own Commune "Deception", they do not have a clearly defined leader because everyone strives to pull a patch of the blanket of glory and leadership to their side. The eternal struggle between them is actively encouraged, it is normal to find out who is better suited to lead the commune, although the main one in any case is Megatron.

Here is a list of those who were cyberformed by the Decepticons (those who became nanite donors are again indicated in brackets):

- Doctor Arkeville (Shockwave and Starscream), Dylan Gold (Soundwave), Silas|Leland Bishop (Onslag), Doctor Thaddeus Morocco (Shockwave), Madeline Pynch (Swindle), Priscilla Pynch (Slipstream), Quint Quarry (Lockdown), Harold Attinger (Lockdown), Vince (Stunticons).

I think I'll probably write a separate lore part about them a little bit later in a little more detail, I don't know if I'll make Cybertronian designs for them, but here's some information. I hope you'll really enjoy reading this, because your question made me think about who exactly is on the list of "lucky ones" and where exactly the cyberformation of these people takes place, because no one wants to send organics to Nemesis.

About the Cyberhumans AU! I like angst soooooooooooo

Does the transformation have any ¨negative¨ effects while is happening or after is completed? And do the transformed humans get to have the same life spam as Cybertronians?

hi

Hi Gelu! Thanks for the question, I'm glad you like my work! (Sorry I didn't answer then, I haven't published anything for a long time and I was a little embarrassed and awkward). So, to your question!

Sorry, I'm such a fool... I was ashamed

The answer is rather no than yes, namely physically there are no negative effects from cyberforming. As I wrote, everything that bothered a person in terms of health is cured before the change process (probably when the process of Cyberforming appeared in the culture of Cybertronians, they, based on the results obtained in the distant past, understood that sick organic species after cyberforming can suffer from phantom pains. Cybertronians live a long time, so imagine being doomed to suffer because of the disease of the past body. Obviously, those who created this process and tradition, developed it so that after infection at the first stage the body of the infected person would be cured, removing all things potentially dangerous to health and functionality).

There are no negative consequences after Cyberformation. Controlling the hull is intuitive for a person, but there may be some problems with controlling the wings, propellers, guns (for example, in tanks), or wheels instead of feet (like Nickel from IDW), of course, a person learns these features. For this, there is an adaptation stage under the guidance of mentors, to understand and adapt to new additions, usually the integration of all this occurs smoothly and former people quickly get used to the capabilities of their new bodies. Adaptation is aimed not only at ensuring that the cyberformed person joins the society of Cybertronians, but also so that he does not have embarrassments associated with his own hull. Some adapt faster than others, but this is purely individual, as for life spam …

Actually I'm not sure if I got it right, but if you mean by "life spam" something like programming and predispositions, then the answer is yes! They definitely get it, it can cause a more confused reaction from the former person (sometimes fear, believe me those with combat protocols were definitely shocked by the realization that they were a "killing machine"), however, it is like the second part of their new body, so they learn to live with it too. Will people who become seekers get a fear of enclosed spaces? More than yes. So it can cause discomfort. HOWEVER! However, I would not say that they have everything purely Cybertronian in terms of programming, in fact, to the surprise of the Autobots and Decepticons, the cyberformed received their unique features in memory of their homeland.

Former humans are like cryptids in some way, for Cybertronians. This is probably because no one had cyberformed organic representatives in such large numbers before, and it was not known about the unique traits that they inherit when moving into a new body. For example, all known "Earth" Seekers received a mark that they are a "night" type of Seeker. Now I will explain a little what this is, but the information is not complete since it is in the process of development (✨Exclusive✨).

"Night" seekers are more predisposed to the dark time of day and have no problems with direction in pitch darkness. Chip Chase and Alexis (bright representatives) are absolutely silent in flight, they have an additional lens under the main optics, which at night or in space becomes absolutely black, hiding the color of their optics. If Cybertronian seekers are similar to eagles, hawks, then earthly ones are more like owls! The black lens is specially created so that as much light radiation as possible gets into the light-sensitive receptors. Sometimes they can amusingly twist their heads like barn owls and other owls. Nevertheless, despite such a unique set of features, they still have the same problems as other seekers (fear of loneliness and isolation, fear of tight and closed spaces, etc.).

About The Cyberhumans AU! I Like Angst Soooooooooooo

Other body types have their own characteristics, so for Cybertronians, former humans are a bit of a cryptid, but it's more of a curiosity and fun (there are probably some problems with these characteristics, but people overcome them, after all, they have a support group in the form of mentors and friends). In fact, each Cyberformed has become partly a field for study, because they took with them into their new life the characteristics from Earth that are most suitable for the new body (So to speak, a gift from our homeland to them for the purposes of "Evolution", the greatest gift of change and development for success and survival). So yes, Cyberformed people are unique in their nature, they still have the same life spam in the form of programming as other Cybertronians, but unique predispositions will probably make them act more inventively.

As for the problems of the Cybertronian community, well… Partially former humans are not subject to this. They do not discriminate on the basis of corpus or function at all, and those who try to apply this to the cyberformed usually receive a rather harsh response from their small community. In addition, for example, in the same Diego Garcia commune, a fairly multicultural environment has gathered, no one tolerates humiliation or discrimination in their direction and their community fiercely defends their own and the personal interests of their group.

okay human trun on Cybertronian?

that interesting if they trun dose they get what they want of design or they get a random one and they stuck with it?

Hi Anon! (Sorry I'm not sure if I understood the question correctly, but I tried… I hope you like it).

Basically, their body, color scheme, design, and frame reflect the personality of the former person. Individual characteristics are also present, as well as diversity, so for the most part, cyberformed people do not need to change their appearance in any way. Unless they want to change the color scheme, add some details (cosmetic changes can be made according to the capabilities and wishes, this does not apply to modifications for work in various fields). They cannot change their frame from a car to an airplane, because it will cause them strange feelings and can lead to something similar to dysphoria (they will probably feel that something is wrong and they will be extremely uncomfortable).

A nice detail for Cybertronian friends (who participated in the cyberformation), may be that the new bot will have some details from their design, the same with the color scheme. In general, this whole theme with their hull in my idea is tightly intertwined with how new sparks from hot spots on Cybertron found their form. The process is somewhat similar, cyberformed people have the status of "forged", their spark in the process itself knows how the hull will look in the end (but unlike new sparks, cyberformed do not need the help of blacksmiths). So no, they do not get a random design, they get the one that reflects their essence as best as possible, and also corresponds to personal skills and specialization.

However, there are exceptions, but not many. Sometimes, if the donor of nanites was a bot of a certain frame type, then the former human can also receive this frame type simply with its own unique and distinctive features. Alexis's situation was very indicative. Since in my AU she is still Starscream's best friend, she essentially received very few nanites from other donors with other frame types, and subsequently she became a "night" type seeker. Almost the same situation befell Chip Chase, there was a collective "battle" between the Lambo brothers (Sideswipe and Sunstreaker), Autobot scientists with a horde of seekers, the seekers' nanites won (Chip is not complaining, he is also a "night" type seeker).

The only thing that owners of this or that frame can complain about is the accompanying programming and predispositions (fears of seekers, the desire to race and all that, and this is due to the fact that it is more difficult for a person to understand what exactly his new processor wants, bots are there to help and explain).

How big can cyberformed humans get? There has to be a point where they can grow to be as big as a normal Cybertronian. If they stayed the same size they were, it would be harder for them to assimilate despite being the size of a minion or cassette.

Hi Anon! Great question!

In fact, Cyberformed humans never remain human-sized. They are full-fledged Cybertronians. In "Part 2", the last point "Pre-bot", I already wrote that the bodies of former humans are formed with their individual characteristics. This means that he will be like a full-fledged Cybertronian, the size and body depend solely on his frame type (but with an individual design, model, and only some details can be inherited from the one who donated nanites). If a person is strong and powerful, and in the early stages he gets tank parts, most likely he will be the size of a tank. It all depends on the frame, of course, if a person consumed too many nanites of one frame during infection, there is a chance that he will become exactly this kind of Cybertronian (for example, this happened to Alexis, she is a seeker. Starscream is extremely proud of himself). A person, in general, inherits features along with the frame, for example, the fact that seekers need society and are afraid of tight spaces (for a former person, this can be an extremely unexpected phenomenon if he did not suffer from such phobias before). In fact, Cybertronians do not quite understand what exactly determines the predisposition to a particular type of frame in people. So when a person goes through the last stage, some Autobots make bets on who exactly the former person will be.

People grow during the "Pre-bot" phase as if in a dream, they are surrounded by energon and the necessary elements for growth, which is why the flasks change in the process. Roughly speaking, everything starts with a human-sized flask (probably a little larger), but the larger the former human's body becomes, the more spacious the flask they are changed to continue growing. Why aren't they immediately placed in a larger growth flask? This is so that the body does not rush to build up everything at once, the slow growth process helps to fully form all the systems slowly and gradually. (It goes without saying that compared to the Autobots and Decepticons who have been through a war for millions of years, cyberformed bots are the healthiest and not exhausted by wounds and damage). Simply put, by the time they wake up, their bodies are already ready and they do not need to go through the growth stages of humans and other organic species.

In short, they can be quite large (assuming they are not minicons or cassettes themselves, of course, but there are several minicons among the Cyberformed). And in anticipation of questions, I prepared a list of frames and people. So you can estimate who is what size (I will try to arrange them in the height list, but some Cyberformed bots may be, well… Larger than expected. Well, like… A truck is not all the same, remember. Because for example, Optimus, Motormaster and Sentinel are trucks, but most likely they have a difference in height).

List of frames and characters:

Tanks: William Lennox, Robert Epps, Agent William Fowler Trucks: Cade Yeager, Jack Darby, Red Seekers: Alexis, Chip Chase, Sara Lennox (I'm not sure). Scout-Class Space Satellite: Rafael Esqivel (he's about the size of Soundwave, maybe a little shorter, but not much) Cars: Carly, Mikaela Banes, Sam Witwicky, Tessa Yeager, Charlie Watson (minicon), Miko Nakaday, Verity Carlo, Danny Clay (he's just a car, but to Junkion's he's one of them) bro) Race Cars: Shane Dyson, Raoul, Noah Diaz Helicopter: Seymour Simmons

Rescue Bots: · Charlie Burns - police car · Kade Burns - fire truck · Graham Burns - engineering vehicle (haven't decided on a model yet) · Dani Burns - medical helicopter · Cody Burns - forestry helicopter Mining Equipment (other production): Sparkplug Witwicky, Spike Witwicky Insecticon: June Darby (moth type: Argema mittrei) Dinobot: Daniel Witwicky (minicon, he transforms into Galimim) Beastbot: Russel Clay (minicon, transforms into a cybercat, probably a more bigger than Ravage)

This is a list of those with whom I have more or less decided, of course there are those whose frames I have not decided on in their list: Isaac Sumdac, Sari Sumdac (she will probably be a minicon), Green Family (Doc. Green, Fransin, Professor Baranova, Sisi), Woodrow Burns and Izabella.

You may not agree with my choice and have your own idea of what this or that character transforms into (this is normal). When I make articles about characters with their design and model, perhaps there will be a little more clarity. I will also write what this or that character does on Diego Garcia.

The author, please tell me. Will Cody Burns be the first infected by his own bots? And what consequences will this have, and it seems to me that Frankie will understand that Cody got infected from bots (not immediately, of course) and tell his family, how will they treat bots after that?

Hi, Aly1234! Great question, I made the answer quite detailed, I hope you like it! Thanks!

Well… Cody was definitely not the first since the Autobot-human alliance began, but he was definitely one of the first on Griffin Rock. In fact, Chief Burns was the first, as strange as that may be.

The thing is, the Rescue Bots weren't too worried about humans at first, maybe because they had a long period of adaptation to the new conditions, learning the culture of the humans and returning to rescue work. After all, the bots were in stasis for a long time, everything was very new to them and they were coming to their senses. This doesn't mean that they weren't attentive to their partners, no, no, no. They were definitely caring, they just probably didn't think much about cyberforming their human friends. As I said, Cybertronians must be closely acquainted with those they do this to, this suggests that there is a strong bond between the person and the bot. Probably everything was more or less calm until the Burns Family apparently began to be attacked more than once by Dr. Morocco. And there were many obviously more dangerous moments threatening people's lives, even the Chief's words that "the work of rescuers is dangerous in itself" did not calm Heatwave and the others. Probably, this made the Bots nervous and think about cyberforming their comrades, for their own safety. And who would refuse another rescue team (when there are obviously not very many of them).

Chase was probably the first to think of cyberforming, and he probably suggested it to the other Rescue Bots. The team approached Optimus to get permission to cyberform their human comrades (they were pleasantly surprised to learn that it had already been used on other humans, so they may have even visited Diego Garcia to scout the conditions). Once permission was granted, Chief Burns was the first to be infected, followed by Cody, since the bots were simply quicker to get their consent (Chief was asked, "Do you want your family to be safe?", and Cody was asked about adventures and space… He obviously really likes space. He also seems to be the most trusted of the bots, so there's no doubt his permission was easy to get.)

Apparently, after Chief and Cody, the rest of the Burns Family were infected. Of course, this had consequences, because essentially the entire human rescue team dropped out of active missions. It is possible that the Burns Family participated in missions up until the end of the first stage of cyberformation. As soon as Charlie Burns showed symptoms of the second stage, he and the others were taken to Diego Garcia. And since once a person ends up there in the human world, he does not return, there were major consequences for the island. Apparently, Griffin Rock was left without rescuers, so the government allocated a team from another state, and the Rescue Bots continued their work. For the locals, the sudden disappearance of the entire family was explained by the fact that they had to undergo special training / advanced training and temporarily moved. Those who asked too many questions were either threatened or paid. You could say that Griffin Rock lost the family that lived there almost from the creation of the settlement. A little later, already in the form of Cybertronians, the Burnses visited their homeland, already as the Terra-1 rescue squad (Yes, they were given a designation similar to Sigma-17. The squad consists of 4 bots, since Cody works as a universal 911 operator. Nevertheless, he also participates in real rescue operations).

Of course Fransin will find out, but there is a chance that she, like Doc. Green and Professor Baranova, are already infected by this point, they just don't realize it yet; their infection happened later. (She could only notice that Cody was more active at stage one, but nothing more. Of course, she suspected that something was going on, watched closely and recorded her research in a personal journal, but she never saw the third stage to understand what exactly was going on). Obviously, after the Burns Family disappeared, she couldn't help but notice that all the data, reports, documents simply disappeared from the databases. As if they never existed. Is it suspicious? More than that, she told her father about it and it probably caused some misunderstanding of the situation. They didn't have time to get to the bottom of it when the family was sent to Diego Garcia to avoid problems and exposure (Government agents noticed their suspicious activity).

I think Doc Green is the second type of person, he listened to the bots and their arguments when it became obvious that he was also cyberforming… However, Fransin and Professor Baranova, well, it would be easy to say that they were angry, I think they were actually furious. Frankie reacted to this with anger capable of blowing up a volcano, how this was not reported, why the government just turned a blind eye. I think this is what pissed her off, that the public did not know that this could happen. She was very angry at the bots, not at Cody, although he felt guilty. Nevertheless, Frankie will cope, of course during the adaptation she was stubborn and irritable (she is open with her emotions, it's really cool), but she was calmed by the fact that she and her best friend would be together. Yes, a little different, but together. Later she would even become friends with other Autobot scientists, so everything went more or less. Professor Baranova suffered the worst of all; being torn away from her native world and her scientific achievements was a nightmare. She coped with the adaptation more slowly and only thanks to Doc Green and his support.

The Green family would have a pretty tense relationship with the Rescue Bots (they're more or less on good terms with the other Autobots, they were quickly drawn into the scientific community), they can work together, but there might be awkward hesitations or slight irritability (except Ezra, he's an enthusiast). The Burns family has adapted (though it wasn't easy), they have normal relationships with their Cybertronian colleagues and friends, although I think Cade is grumpy and grumpy (Heatwave version 2.0), and Dani definitely misses the mundane human things.

Cyberform AU - Part 3

Commune "Diego Garcia" (Autobot base for Cyberformed allies).

Warning: Attention: in this AU, all human allies of the Autobots are in the same universe (reality), for the sake of their psychological well-being.

Cyberform AU - Part 3

The human government is not particularly happy about the fact that Cybertronians can change humans. It is quite logical that this scares them, fortunately the Autobots and Decepticons are not very inclined to cyberform just anyone.

In fact, the government was largely unaware of this until 1984 (or later) when Sparkplug and Spike were reported "disappearing" (that's right, they were the first). Also, the Autobots became more protective and closed during the disappearance period, not allowing human agents into part of the ARC. This behavior and unwanted questions created a couple of unpleasant incidents (Optimus was not very happy, he had to regulate the resulting friction and calm everyone down, although he knew what was going on). Later, when the "new bots" appeared for special agents and later the government, the puzzle came together. It was not difficult, since the former humans were still less accustomed to the new realities of their lives, they willingly used human terms, concepts and names. In addition, the Autobots began to request human items, such as pillows and blankets, the size of a Cybertronian. (All in the name of adaptation, so that it would be easier for a person to gradually get used to the new, plus old familiar things were gradually replaced with Cybertronian ones, a slow transition did not allow the former people to get nervous once again).

This was shocking, but it was decided to hide this information, firstly, not to cause panic among the public, and secondly, there were few cyberformed humans, it was easier to turn a blind eye to the disappearance of a couple of people than to question a politically (and not only) advantageous alliance. In addition, the government believed that it could use former people against the Autobots themselves in case of danger (later this resulted in an extremely unpleasant situation for the cyberformed, due to which they quickly left Earth and moved to Cybertron).

It was decided to give the Autobots another place for this process, so as not to disturb the agents and not to cause unnecessary conflicts (the protective nature of the Cybertronians at some stages was quite unpleasant for the joint work of people and bots).

Diego Garcia Island: It is a former military base, but it was completely given to the Autobots to develop it and keep the cyberformed away from the public eye until they are ready to keep their secret. And so that the cyberforming process does not traumatize other people who are not so close to the Cybertronians ("What is not there, does not exist / there are no witnesses, no victims" - said the human government and pointed towards the island).

If a human ally gets to the island, then a special department cleans up all paper or other sources about this person, erasing them from the system as if such a person never existed, since he will not return to the world of people. Sometimes you have to bribe people, but usually threats and money are enough to make them keep quiet. The old data that is not deleted is sent to the island for the cyberformed themselves.

On Diego Garcia, the Cyberform Commune was created, they have their own leader, a management system, they also work to preserve important cultural parts of their lives. In the commune, former humans undergo final processes and treatment (they receive support from those who have already gone through this). They receive an education from the Autobots and a profession if possible (if their human profession has a Cybertronian equivalent). The commune is mostly subordinate to Optimus and other high-ranking Autobots (they mostly do not participate in combat missions, the Autobots collectively decided that their comrades are not yet mentally ready for such things, although some enthusiasts show a desire to fight side by side. However, there are exceptions). Diego Garcia, in a way, serves as a support function for the Autobots, there is also a large laboratory with a medical bay.

In a way, Diego Garcia is practically a Cybertronian city, a small settlement by human standards. Access there is mainly through the air, a ship or a space bridge.

Disclaimer: My AU has very specific multiverses for people from different Transformers realities (They all live in one world, and the Cybertronians are kind of a bit of everything, but I like the IDW designs the most, so let's assume everyone moved there). I did this on purpose, not only because it would be interesting to see how the characters interact, but also because there aren't that many people in each reality (In the Animeted, there are literally two or three, I don't know if Sari counts, she's technorganic). For the purposes of psychological support and protection of the cyberformed people and their healing, I made it so that they are all in one world and maintain a special community.

Bayverse: Sam Witwicky, Mikaela Banes, William Lennox (and his family), Robert Epps, Seymour Simmons, Cade Yeager, Tessa Yeager, Shane Dyson, Izabella.

G1: Sparkplug Witwicky, Spike Witwicky, Carly, Daniel Witwicky, Chip Chase, Raoul

Armada: Red, Alexis

Animated: Isaac Sumdac, Sari Sumdac

IDW: Verity Carlo

TFP:Burns Family (Charlie, Kade, Graham, Dani, Cody maybe Woodrow), Green Family (Doc. Green, Fransin, Professor Baranova, Sisi), June Darby, Jack Darby, Miko Nakaday, Rafael Esqivel, Agent William Fowler, Danny Clay, Russel Clay

Knightvers: Charlie Watson, Noah Diaz

These are all the people I will probably write (and draw) more often than others. Of course, not all human characters from the show and comics are here, there are quite a lot of people in the same IDW, but I am mostly familiar with Verity (and only because I read all the comics about the Wreckers). For most of the people on this list, I have an approximate design of their Cybertronian appearance, a little history of how their cyberformation process took place (as well as who donated nanites and who became a curator), I will make links to the characters as the description and design process goes on (more convenient navigation, if you are interested in a specific character and his design with a little history, you can click and get the post!).

Oh, I almost forgot, a micro list of those who were subjected to Decepticon nanites: – William Lennox, Robert Epps, Mikaela Banes, Chip Chase, Alexis, Isaac Sumdac, June Darby, Rafael Esqivel.

(If you are interested in a character that is not on the list, I can still answer your question.)

how do humans who get cyberformed usally react to finding out what their cybertronian freind is doing to them?

the reaction guess is probably different from person to person but what usally happens?

Hi Anon! (Thanks for the question, I'm so glad!)

In fact, the reaction of different people is really extremely diverse, but all this can be combined into "five stages of acceptance".

It's not that there are five of them, basically there are only three reactions and they depend on whether the person had anything to lose in life, what kind of relationship he had with his parents and other factors.

The initial reaction of those who react to their situation is extremely aggressive. Anger, misunderstanding, confusion, all of it is deeply entwined in their chest, pressing like a weight and intensifying with pain. They do not understand why their cybertronian friend and trusted comrade decided to do this to them, they cannot accept reality for some time and deny what is happening (deny the situation). For the most part, this is the reaction of those who have families, or those who see that they had a duty to "humanity", or those who are afraid of leaving behind their achievements (in my AU, however, the cyberformed later face alienation from their former human brothers). People who initially flare up with anger are simply going through the five stages of acceptance of the situation. From deep denial and disbelief (lasts a short period of time), a furious outburst (anger), an attempt to understand whether it is possible to reverse the process (bargaining), numbness (depression) and then acceptance of the situation, an attempt to get used to the new reality (resignation). Adaptation is difficult for such people, they can be stubborn, flare up with irritation, as a rule, their Cybertronian friends provide support, knowing that it is difficult and unusual for them. It is because of them, for the most part, that Cybertronians try to unite the cyberformed into groups, thinking that this will help them come to terms faster and accept the idea that everything is not so scary, because next to them there are friends and those who have gone through the same process.

The second reaction, those who are confused, but mostly calm. I wrote in the "Second Part" that usually these are the people who tend to be more observant, they are calm and attentive in themselves. They understand what is happening earlier, they may have a flash of misunderstanding at the beginning (a short quick anger), but such people are more inclined to listen to their Cybertronian friend. To understand what exactly prompted him to act this way. Of course, they can be irritated or sad for some time, but resignation to the situation comes faster for them. Usually people with such a reaction can be stubborn for some time in adapting to the Cybertronian society, but their way out is studying sciences and professions. The feeling of order and consistency calms them down, and the support of Cybertronian friends gives them time to accept life in a new way at their own pace (some of these people are deeply inspired by the idea of exploring everything in a new, more advanced way, as a rule, they are flexible in their thoughts)

The third reaction, enthusiasts in general. They may seem frivolous in their joy of becoming a Cybertronian, even if it means going through pain. However, these are the ones who know that they had nothing more to lose in their previous human life, or, on the contrary, they are running away from the life they had. For them, becoming a Cybertronian = starting life from scratch. Being yourself and not being ashamed of your character, not being constrained by rules, traditions or other things. Probably, the number of people with the third reaction includes those whose life has been permeated with Cybertronian culture and bots since childhood (and there are such, for example, like Daniel). In the case of this group, adaptation occurs so quickly and naturally that they rush to soften the reactions of the first group and help the second to reveal themselves.

Usually, Cybertronians take the cyberforming human to a safe place, they have one (at least for the Autobots, rest in peace to those chosen by the Decepticons). There, the former humans are surrounded not only by safety and security, but also by support from other cyberformers and their guardians and friends. I will write about this place later, as it is important for understanding both the reaction of the human government and the place that the former humans themselves have taken in the world.

That's all, just three categories, of course it all depends on the person and a little later I'll make a post with a list of characters that are present in this AU. If you want to know how this or that character reacted, you can write to me, I'll be happy to answer :).

Cyberform AU - Part 2

The process of cyberformation.

Warning: this post was created in collaboration with my friend who is studying to become a doctor, so there are unpleasant descriptions. If you are sensitive to themes of blood, pain and body horror, better not read (I'm serious guys, this is not for the soul of a delicate organization. I love you, so I warn you)

Cyberform AU - Part 2

1. Infection.

As I wrote in the previous post, the first stage is essentially the easiest. It is more of a cultural aspect and tradition, in which the Cybertronian gets consent from the person (or other organic being) of his choice. (In my opinion, the process of cyberforming representatives of organic species was formed during the time of Cybertron's space expansions. And although not many representatives underwent this, the tradition was recorded and accepted).

It is assumed that the Cybertronian knows the person well in order to guide him through this process. To some extent, the organic must be "worthy" of this, for outstanding deeds this can be either a desire to fight on the side of the Cybertronian, or simply unique skills such as intelligence, leadership, courage and much more. It is considered strange to make a complete stranger a part of your people.

The Cybertronian hides his question about joining with something that is probably of interest to his friend. Having received consent, he acts, starting to treat the person with food, in which nanites are added.

– Nanites in the infection stage are aimed at infecting bone marrow (various hematopoietic shoots) – Capture by the human immune system (then the body does not perceive nanites as foreign particles, it perceives them as parts of itself) – The blood shows a picture of acute leukemia (while the immune system and bone marrow are absorbing and capturing it)

Cyberform AU - Part 2

2. The first stage.

At this stage, everything is quite harmless, in fact, the person does not feel any negative reactions from what is happening to him. The person may not realize that in principle something has changed.

The Cybertronian who is taking his friend through this becomes more protective, monitors the proper nutrition and sleep patterns of the ward. He also informs other willing Cybertronians (not enemies, but allies, of course) that they can participate by donating their nanites (besides, it looks less suspicious that several bots are taking care of their human friend).

The person noticeably feels healthier and more active, since the nanites improve the body for the subsequent stages. This is necessary so that there are no negative consequences for the health of the new body. This stage can last from 2-3 months, depending on the state of health of the person.

— Blood will be normal (the picture of acute leukemia disappears) + improvement of well-being (masking) — Autoimmune diseases and other illnesses no longer bother a person, nanites work to improve the body. A person can be faster and more active during this period. — Decreased hormone levels, minus vitamins and macronutrients — Disappearance of menstruation

Cyberform AU - Part 2

3. The second stage.

At this stage, the person begins to feel the effects of nanites on their body. The person still retains mobility, but may feel discomfort and tire quickly. During this period, care from a fellow Cybertronian is especially appreciated, as the person thinks that he is sick. Cybertronians give metals and energon, carefully hiding or disguising them (necessary for further development).

It is obvious that deterioration in health can be noticed by other people who are not very connected with Cybertronians, attempts at outside help will be perceived slightly negatively (an understatement). The Transformer knows what is happening and will be against human doctors trying to treat it, so they become more aggressive, territorial. They claim that they are able to help their ally and drive human doctors away so that their actions are not revealed.

The person spends most of the time at the base under the care of his Cybertronian friend. He usually tries to carefully prepare the person for the last painful stage, calming him down in various ways and preparing a comfort zone.

– Fatigue, weakness, lethargy, headaches appear (asthenic syndrome) – Spark formation - damage to the heart and chest – The first stage of cyberforming the brain into a processor – Pain in the heart area and pain in the joints – Potassium and calcium (rest in peace) – Change in diet (distortion of taste preferences) + lack of urination – There is practically no blood under the microscope.

Cyberform AU - Part 2

4. The final stage (Body Horror).

At this stage, the Cybertronian usually isolates the person from other representatives of his species in a safe, closed and comfortable place. Due to the pain, the person is immobile, lying down most of the time. Obviously, he is afraid, reaches out to the one who provides him with comfort and is completely dumbfounded. The Cybertronians continue to give metals and energon, which are necessary for the human body at this stage (human food is no longer suitable and is not given).

Around this time, the cyberforming person begins to think that everything is happening in a strange sequence. People who stand out for their intelligence and logic usually understand what is happening at the second stage, this can lead to a quarrel with a friend and subsequent resignation to the situation (the process cannot be reversed).

The person does not have the strength to fight what is happening, he completely needs care and depends on the Cybertronian. People who are not close to the Cybertronians obviously keep their distance from them, so as not to injure either them or the cyberforming ones. The person "magically" disappears from the public eye, so to speak.

— Cramps, joint pain, fever — Mental disorders (phantom sensations) — Cyberformation of the intestinal tube (intestines, esophagus, etc.), teeth, the second stage of transformation of the brain into a processor. — The exit of unnecessary organs through organs through natural openings, what cannot exit is devoured by nanites and divided into necessary elements (minus: liver, kidneys, pancreas and much more). The skin changes color. — Vision problems appear due to the formation of the processor (cyberformation in optics) — By this stage, the person is blind, deaf and dumb (a doctor friend said that the person goes crazy from this, so the Cybertronians rush to transfer the person to another place for the last stage)

Cyberform AU - Part 2

5. Pre-bot (already practically a transformer).

The person is moved to a safe, protected area under the supervision of Cybertronian doctors, where there are all the necessary materials for the final stage. As a rule, the person does not remember this stage, he is in a state of sleep, very comfortable. Under the care and attention of doctors, he has nothing to fear.

Although there may be a kind of competition between Cybertronians (up to a fight), who exactly will be the subsequent guardian of the cyberformed. Even someone who did not donate their nanites can become a guardian, but this is usually not allowed (a person must trust his guardian, so that later it is easier to integrate into the society of bots).

- Moving a person into an environment saturated with energon, in the process a flask with energon + cybertronian metals are added (if they are absent - earthly alternatives) - Exoskeleton growth, armor formation (flasks change during growth) - Formation of the body according to the individual characteristics of the future Cybertronian (considered "forged") - Completion of the formation of the brain module, processor (Completion of all processes of cyberformation of organs. Eyes = Optics, Ears = Audio sensors, etc.) - Safe incubation - The person does not remember the stage of blindness, deafness, dumbness and the feeling of discomfort from the process.

Cyberform AU - Part 2

Awakening: – The cyberformed one wakes up when he becomes a full-fledged bot, the first one he sees will be his guardian (Here, as with ducklings, the first parent, friend, relative seen. The main thing is that the person mostly trusts this Cybertronian, then the process of integration and socialization into the society of bots is simpler).

Cyberform AU - Part 1?

Cyberform AU - Part 1?

So what is my cyberform au? It's really a simple "Humans into Cybertronians" trope at its core. It's no secret that from show to show (comics maybe too, but I only remember one person from there) that transformers form bonds with humans.

Humans become an integral part of the bot's life, and the same thing works the other way around (just remember that many of the humans in the show met Cybertronians at a young age, the impact on their lives must be colossal). In many headcanons I see that the bots seem to forget that humans have a much shorter lifespan than their own, but I don't think that's the case. Transformers have a lot of memory and they probably understand better that their human friends and comrades are extremely vulnerable due to their organic bodies. If a bot is especially attached to its companion, this can cause stress (Just think that Bumblebee from all the shows is the same Bee and remember how many human friends he had: Sam, Spike, Sari, Raf and Charlie. Poor Bumblebee).

Humans are cyberformed due to the patronage of Cybertronians.

Their comrades/friends/mentors/enemies are sure that this is like caring for their less fortunate comrades in life expectancy. Decepticons perceive this as an investment in their own small species. The war has exhausted both sides, exhausted the number of bots, to restore Cybertron, bots will be needed that are full of strength, without harmful effects on their bodies, and people after cyberformation have this quality. They have a pure mind and their own internal potential for development. However, the Decepticons are too selective, they do not consider rewarding the left person to be their duty, that is why they look closely at the existing allies of the Autobots (Soundwave and Rafael, Lennox and Megatron, Alexis and Starscream).

The Autobots see more in people (you know "More than meets the eye"), they spend time to consider it and get to know humanity better, while the Decepticons already get what they have. People show themselves in the fight against them, this is a pretty big mistake, because they really value inner strength of spirit, as it seems to me.

In the end, the Cybertronians leave their nanites in the people they choose, infecting them, rather not obviously, since this can cause fear, rejection. Before infecting the chosen person, the transformer must get his consent. Bots naturally do not ask directly, they can rather ask the question "Would you like to see space?" or something similar, based on the interests of the person. As soon as the ward agrees, the transformer will calm down mentally and start giving him nanites. Everything is done secretly, the Cybertronian in his care begins to feed the person snacks or full-fledged food, the treat tastes slightly like pomegranate juice and much more. Of course, if the food has a rich taste, then the person will not feel the difference (the products have a rich taste of metals, not blood but something more favorable). Decepticons do it less gently, from which the person may think that he is being tortured - "We are doing this for your good, flesh, calm down." The only moment among the Decepticons Soundwave, thanks to his telepathic abilities, it is not difficult for him to make his objects of interest behave more submissively and give them everything they need without resistance (Because of this, people infected by him can behave sluggishly for some time and think that they are sick, not remembering that Soundwave fed them nanites)

The donation of nanites must occur regularly (several bots can participate in this), so that the process of cyberformation is fueled for the next stages.

It is similar to an infection that gradually changes the human body, at first glance it is not noticeable until the transformation reaches the middle of the stage. In the next post I will tell you about the stages of cyberformation.

By the way, depending on who was the donor of nanites in most cases depends on what transport mode the newly-made Cybertronian (former human) will have.
