Meet Bio-Engineer Rick and Bio-nerd Morty :]

Backstory (R-Ɣ3)
After Diane's Death this Rick started to specialise in Bio-engineering and Biology, in hopes of being able to find a way to "reconstruct" Diane and Beth with the limited biological matter still left of them (e.g Dead skin cells on clothes/furniture).
His attempts ultimately failed and the only results his research gave him were abominations of human flesh.
This made R-Ɣ3 give up on his work, he failed at taking his own life and after being at, what he thought was, his absolute lowest , a portal opened and a heavily injured Rick stumbled into his living room.
This Rick died only moments after arriving, R-Ɣ3 took the opportunity and stole the portal gun.
Now that he had gotten access to portal travel, he was filled with new motivation and so he decided to look for Diane and Beth in other dimensions.
What he found was in no way satisfactory to Rick and it made him nearly go insane.
Out of pure frustration had he picked up on bio-engineering again, deciding to dedicate his life to resurrecting Diane and Beth, no matter how hard it would be.
Even if it frustrated him, he still used interdimensional travel to gather resources for his work or to collect more data on the Beths that were alive.
During one of those trips he stumbled upon a dimension in which both Diane and Rick died, Beth being the only survivor of the explosion.
R-Ɣ3, still mourning the death of his beloved wife and daughter, decided to stay in this dimension, convincing this version of Beth that he had simply survived the explosion.
This Beth had both Summer and Morty with Jerry, although Jerry divorced her shortly after getting her pregnant with Morty.
Beth, overwhelmed with the challenges that come with being a single parent, was so relieved and happy when Rick turned up at her door, that she didn't even second guess how one would survive such an explosion.
Additional information
Summer and Morty stayed relatively the same in this dimension, except that Morty is even more clingy than normal when it comes to Rick.
Since he never had a father figure in his life, he saw Rick as a replacement for that.
Summer on the other hand is very distant towards Rick, she is still mad at Jerry for leaving them.
She is also scared that Rick would just end up leaving them, just like Jerry.
Here, Morty is less concerned with the experiments Rick does, it's more so the opposite, he admires Rick and his projects and dreams to become just as smart as his Grandpa one day.
This means Morty is even less at school, the only days he attends is when he has Biology or Science class.
He is very dedicated in those classes, those are also the only subjects he has good grades in.
Rick at first was very distant to all of his new family except for Beth, he is aware that she is not "his" Beth but he loves that he gets to see his daughter all grown up.
And he probably will use her biological matter for further research regarding the resurrection of his "actual" daughter and his Wife.
It didn't take long until Rick started to incorporate Morty into his projects, he saw the potential the boy had and put it to good use.
Morty slowly became the only person Rick would trust.
Rick engineered an additional set of arms for himself in order to work faster. In the end they mainly get used as weapons, since he added claws to all four of his hands.
He also is decked out with a wide array of cybernetics, similar to C-137, the only difference being that his cybernetics have a much more fleshy look to them.

Yeahhh so like I said, I am currently rewatching Analyze Piss, and I love how Dr. Wong is able to set clear boundaries with Rick, and Rick is actually able to respect them. Dr. Wong really is the best therapist for Rick, she isn't perfect, but she's able to be kind yet firm with Rick, while having a strong enough personality to stand up to Rick and smart enough to be able to get down to his level so he actually listens to her. Dr. Wong is an incredibly underrated character, she deserves more love. If my therapist ain't like Dr. Wong, I don't want her.

the one word where morty figured out this wasn’t really rick.
and no wonder morty believes rick could just up and replace him any day. because there’s infinite versions of him, after all. because there’s infinite other things that are better than him. because, for the longest time, every other day, rick kept on telling him how replaceable he is.
no wonder he was scared that hug wouldn't have been real.
but, truth is, rick would’ve jumped after him (if he had thought morty was in real danger).
truth is, rick would have performed in front of a crowd for him.
truth is, rick would anything, just about anything, for him. he would travel the longest distances just to get him back. he would spoil him with gadgets and gifts. he would forgo the chance to see his wife again just so he could spend the rest of the evening with him.
truth is, morty was wrong.

Hey everyone!! First post of the new year, holy cow!! I know it’s almost the end of janurary but just.. ignore that. I decided that for my very first 2024 post, I would do a redraw of a piece from 2017. I think there’s no debate here that I’ve improved, LOL.
My dad saw me working on this and decided to pitch in his own redraw (which I thought was pretty funny and wanted to include).
Anyways- thank you all for the support I’ve gotten this year. I know that my page isn’t really appealing to most (since I’m constantly switching fandoms), but even then, I’ve still gained so many followers and loyal fans. I was also able to finally open my Etsy shop, which did very well! I hope to put more on there soon (including a poster of this redraw!) so I will announce that when the time comes.
