Terrible as Lady Ethel is, at least when she was young and Botco was starting to get big she realized there was something wrong there (but all that money and power…).
Much as that summer romance could have saved Solomon, I feel like Adam surely could have done better.
At least he knows Adam’s death was his fault. He doesn’t care who he’s killed or hurt though, as long as he can justify it. And he always can.
I can only assume that Solomon forgot he could ask Stitchery Pins to make Percy a new dress. Better that he gave him his own clothes. At least he did one (barely) decent thing for his son.
Irene Mend is not to be trusted. Still better than Solomon, though.
