tweet by user @goofyaahhhhhh reading: "hi is this anything" with two drawings put in comparison. The first drawing, a small generic figure splattered in blood clutching their hands in front of them, looks down with a sad and guilty expression on their face. It's labeled: "CANON: a literal child that did a lot of bad things but can still learn and grow". The second image shows the same figure now laughing maniacally and even more covered in blood. It's labeled: "FANON: an irredeemable monster completely undeserving of love".
A response drawing by the Tumblr OP of Flowey from Undertale in a style meant to imitate that of the original comparison. He is spattered in blood and laughing with his scary face, clawed vines erupting from the ground in triumph. The drawing is labeled, with visible handmade editing from the original pic: "CANON: a literal child who did all of that but it was funny AF so who cares free my man!!!" In smaller print, underneath, the text continues: "also he's the only one who remembers the killings ok, they were much more harmful to HIM in how they alienated him and confirmed his idea that he was broken beyond repair than to anyone else he killed who is now alive and well again and living their life in blissful ignorance. he has to live with that shit he's 14 leave him ALONE!!"
