An oc I made for an smp me and a few friends are playing! They're a fire lizard hybrid with hardened skin in areas to help them scale rocks and travel on the burning ground. They wear a mix of leather, pig skin, and gold. The tail is for balance, and the pouch holds gold ingots, ender pearls, and other things you would need to survive. The bandanna and the goggles are for when they need to travel through areas with too much smoke.
Strider Saddles

In the initial art I did, I was a bit lazy with the saddle drawing, but I’ve made this to clarify some things!
Here’s a strider without a saddle, a strider with only a saddle blanket, a strider with a blanket and a saddle, and a strider with reins.
There’s lots of room for different colours and patterns on the blanket, including tassels like the one in the picture! There’s now a saddle horn and reins to hold onto (although I’m not sure how feasible they are), as well as stirrups.
Keep in mind, I’m basing this off of my prior knowledge + some cursory research. I’ve never ridden a horse or any other animal 😅
This is important for my next Nether lore/food post :)

There’s not much to say about this build, it’s mostly just a tiny box with triangles and cubes inside. I’m considering making more of these in the future (feel free to suggest biomes/mobs in my inbox !) while keeping the scale (8*8*8), which is a bit of a challenge, but it’s fun.

the nether is terrifying because it is hell and monsters live there who want to hurt you. however, it gets even more terrifying when you think about Intentional Game Design. a world where you'll die if you try to sleep. you could get stuck there, growing wearier and wearier, until your eyes start to blur with the waves of heat rising from the earth. when you cave in and lay your head to rest the ground will explode. the souls trapped in the dirt will scream with you. you will never be heard. this world will rip you apart for the crime of being human. you cannot win. you cannot rest now. there are always monsters nearby.
