to me, this feels like neil and andrew and their truths game. neil’s need to hear andrew’s past and to know his truth and the way their game makes him feel real

You showed me how to keep myself from burning out

and

You showed me how to hold my skin

neil learning to confront his truth and his lies and transform them into something real. andrew helped him figure out how to become something more than his lies and how to stand as himself instead of being a pile of lies that burns out and replaces itself with another fictitious person

And these are the newer additions to my ongoing little animatic thing. Very fun to see how much I improved over the years.

AFTG au where everything is the same except Neil and Andrews attempts at gifting each other CRAZY FUCK-OFF expensive things is somehow ratcheted up another notch until someone (Nicky) notices them spending their literal life savings on each other and calls them out on their mutual attempt at making each other their sugar baby.

(Neil is confused as per usual, Nicky is fuxking delighted at these disaster gays competing to make the other their baby without a single word, and the rest of the foxes are internally screaming about how dumb the whole scenario is because neither will admit something more is going on. Aaron just doesn’t want to think about his brother fucking anyone let alone the suicidally stupid sugar baby who has the mafia after him)

(Andrew is contemplating murder more than usual while simultaneously looking at bigger houses in Columbia because Neil just upgraded his car that fucker)

Thinking about how Andrew could burn a hole building down and Neil would only be glad to see emotion in his eyes, and would let him do whatever he needs to do just so the emotion stays there for as long as it can

when the fic pulls stuff like "Now Neil knew there was nothing new on the news"

thinking about how in Wymack's pov of the moment that he tells Neil about Yakusa he says that he was going to take care of Kevin first because he had time to worry about Neil.

thinking about how Neil would never even consider having any time left. How in that moment he could had been gone in the very next day.

what would Wimack think if he showed up to train the next morninh and Neil was gone??

when you're reading a aftg fic and the writers drop a "now Neil knew that it wasn't new news"

imagine being that good of a writer that, even in third person, you can describe your protagonist personality so well, that even we who have read Neil's pov for three books were shocked seeing how other people (Jean) see him

can anyone tell me if is there going to be a TSC Vol. 2!?!?!?? I physicaly cannot live without it, I'm obsessed, I haven't been able to read anything else because I just won't stop thinking about it, it's getting unhealthy
