a day in the life of a green witch.
to honor nature and use it in our crafts.
it shows in the way we hang our herbs to the flowers strewn about our home. it's in everything we touch, and everything we see.
we respect nature, and the earth thanks us for it.

and i need to address a few things, as well. i'm a pretty neutral page, and being uplifting to those just starting out in their practice is something i enjoy doing. positivity and encouragement is extremely important.
i've been seeing a lot of "you're a real witch when___" lately
no. just no.
you're a real witch regardless if you're self sufficient or not. look up spells if it's needed, find a mentor if it's needed, educate and find yourself with your pace. it does not mean you're any less.
you're a real witch if you don't have a grimoire, or you don't have your spells memorized.
you're a real witch if you fall into depression and find it hard to practice. make sure your deities know this, find little ways to keep them happy.
you're a real witch, regardless of race, sexuality, whether you're just starting out or you've been practicing for years.
you're a real witch if you're not gatekeeping.
don't discourage our young witches. they need reassurance too. there is no wrong or right way to practice, as long as you're aware of which practices are closed and shouldn't be used unless you're from that heritage.
you're a witch, period. stop telling people that they have to fit a certain criteria to be a "real witch"
i don't believe that you become a witch. it was within and around you all along.
every time you'd collect rocks as a child, or spoke to the moon when you needed comfort, or even when that warm, tingling sensation would hit you while walking in the woods. it was always the little things that didn't quite make sense.
it was calling to you, remember that. you're no less just because you figured it out later.
perhaps, soon, i will be one with nature.
where i've always belonged.
do you feel it, too? everything feels off within the veil. the Earth is giving off signals, and no one can seem to read them. is she distressed? is she happy?
something's coming and it's eerie to see how many other witches feel it too.
moss —
it grows everywhere. it takes over even the simplest of structure. but do not fret, because once you appreciate its' beauty, it will become your friend. it is necessary.
the connection a witch has with nature is undeniable.
it's incredible, feeling at peace inside a humid forest.
it's unexplainable, feeling the energy underneath the water when you reach through it's current.
the connection we have is inside of everything. the sunshine, the rain, the call of the wind, the fire that keeps us warm— both inside and out.
we come from nature. we must treat her with respect.

When I create a layout like this, I like to take a moment with each object to think about the life it lived before it came to be in my possession. Each of these small items have traveled and changed throughout time.
Each of bone was once part of a living creature with its own emotions, needs, dreams, and desires. It had thoughts and experiences, and therefore knowledge.
Each of the small plant specimens once grew and thrived in nature. They played an important role in the ecosystem providing food, oxygen, and shelter for many creatures.
Antiques such as the key and tiny clockwork gear have passed through many different hands before finding a home with me. They have years of stories to tell.
Each of these items are special to me for many reasons. What are some of your favorite treasures? Do they have a story behind them? 🌙🌿

"A witch who cannot curse cannot heal." -a saying within traditional witchcraft
Have you ever had a spicy meal so hot that no amount of water could stop the burning in your mouth? The idea behind using Hot Peppers in spellcraft is to bring that level of suffering to someone who has done you wrong. Keep in mind when performing this kind of work that regardless of what your enemy did to deserve this there will be a severe negative karmic backlash down the road so before you even consider this kind of spell ask yourself "is it worth it?"
Cayenne Pepper is good for this sort of thing as it's very spicy and easy to find, however if you're looking to inflict way more pain it would be better to use a much hotter Pepper like the Ghost Pepper, Komodo Dragon Pepper or even the legendary Carolina Reaper.
Be sure to always use gloves and eye protection when handling Hot Peppers as they can burn the skin and Heaven help you if you get some of that juice in your eyes. Dried Hot Pepper can be sliced and added to oil recipes while fresh chopped up Hot Peppers can be sewn up inside a poppet designed to represent the enemy. Hot Peppers can also be placed around the base of a curse candle.
Cayenne Pepper has medicinal qualities as a circulation enhancer so if you have issues with blood flow or libido add a little Cayenne Pepper to a couple meals a day to help, just make sure not to eat it on an empty stomach as it will give you a massive case of heartburn.
Cayenne Pepper can also be used to make an ointment that helps with severe arthritis pain. Be warned that the other Hot Peppers mentioned in this segment are extremely dangerous to anyone who hasn't built up a resistance to spicy foods. Hot Peppers are associated with the element of fire, the astrological sign of Aries and the planet Mars. (Image from Unsplash.com)
I want to clarify that this is the "recipe" that I use.
the "recipe" can vary depending on who makes it and what is at their disposal. Recipe: 1:red pepper or flying pepper 2:black pepper 3:red ant (Optional) 4:Sulfur For the base of the powder, that is, to make it more like a powder, use white flour, but you can also use chalk.
hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis) is a plant that is used to clean and purify, it is mentioned in Psalm 51 of the Bible. You can use it as a bath by adding it to water, you can even add flower water, sea salt, or other types of "baths" Yes
you want it.
while reciting Psalm 51
Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
Wash me and I'll be whiter than snow.
other data to take into account:
*it is better to collect it before the sun "rises".
*this is so it cannot be touched by sunlight, porque no lo puede tocar la luz solar.
*not all crystals or (quartz) can be added with water as this could "wear out" or "dilute"

personalente I am not in favor of killing animals
since I think that they are living beings like usand they deserve to live like us and they also think and feel like us. if you want to "work" with animal bones it is best to use the bones of animals that died naturally. and collect the bones of the animals in specific places where they may raid the state and raid the dead such as: train tracks, on highways or even in natural places such as rivers or streams. "working" with animal bones helps you connect with the energy and spirit of said animal as well as also with the spiritual meaning of said animal. or if it is the bone of an animal it can also help you to connect more with your animal take the spirit guide depending on the bone of the animal you have chosen. Another very important thing is to know how to clean your bones after having it picked up. There are various forms and debates regarding this.
