You know what I just realized?
Remember the clockwork princess epilogue, that terrible, terrible epilogue, and how much it broke us?
Now imagine the epilogue of the last book of the wicked powers. Imagine how much that will break us. How potentially heartbreaking that could be. It's the last we'll ever get. The last of Kit and Ty, the last of Jace and Clary and Tessa and Jem and Alec and Magnus and Isabelle and Simon and Julian and Emma and everybody else. It's the end of the Herondale banter and the Clave being idiots and crying over stupid angsty teenagers.
That book will probably be heartbreaking, and the epilogue even more so.
And I am so not ready for everything to end and I'm getting emotional writing this and I had a point but basically
The epilogue of the last book of twp will destroy us.

This woman WALKED MAGNUS BANE DOWN THE AISLE, SHE HELPED TO MAKE A CURE FOR THE BLIGHT, SHE'S A NURSE FOR MUNDANES BECAUSE SHE HAS HEALING MAGIC AND NO ONE ELSE WILL SAVE THEM AND SHES TOO COMPASSIONATE TO LET THEM DIE.
