I wasn't expecting any Chenford in the next episode because I thought it would be Wopez-centric, which I didn't mind because I am loving the Elijah and Wopez storyline.😊
Hence, anything Chenford is a bonus for me, and I am grateful to the Rookie showrunners for it.😍
However, I don't think we will get a Chenford and Chris confrontation, and I am fine with it. I think Chris will be there just to act as an ADA, as Wesley is directly related to the case and thus will have conflict of interest. TBH, I am relieved that my Chenford babies will be helping a kid and will be away from any negativity which Chris could have brought.😒

My prediction for 5X16- I think the Chenford necklace scene will be the cold open. After Tim gives her the necklace shit hits the fan. He gets to know how Lucy has orchestrated the whole metro thing. Then the Ebola threat happens and they have to ride together since they are short staffed as it's Valentine's day.

I would love some Chenford related angsty drama but definitely don't want a storyline that will somehow bring another guy/girl in between them. They are done dating other people.
They can be as angsty as possible but cannot date or even think of dating anyone else. That door is closed forever for them.
They are done with their last first date, last first kiss and last first time. They belong to each other now. No other man/woman can ever touch Lucy/Tim respectively. These two belong to each other.😊
As Tamara directly jumps to babies! It's giving me anxiety. I don't want them to omit any step. I really want them to get married and then have kids. I have said this before and will reiterate the same again.

I don't want Lucy to be pregnant. It is too early and I want Chenford to go through all the traditional steps. I have said it before and am saying again ONE OF THE MID-WILSHER COUPLE SHOULD TAKE THE TRADITIONAL ROOT AND LET THAT BE CHENFORD. Moreover, come on what's wrong with the lady cops of Mid-Wilsher! I am dead against Lucy having a child now but will only be okay if it's a Chenford baby. Then Angela's and Tim's baby can share the same bond like them. As they will be of the same age and we get all crazy hormonal antics these two women will be doing to keep Tim on his feet. While Wesley gives him "Welcome to the club" looks. That storyline will be fun. 😍

I have said it before and will say it again. I don't want Chenford to break up. There are many shows where their 'will they won't they' couple got together and stayed together without breaking up an example of this is Jim and Pam from The Office.
I would request The Rookie showrunners to not break Chenford up in any case. Let them handle their shit together as a team as they have proved they do the best, way many times.🙏
Saying all this. I would also like to add that all are entitled to have their own thoughts/opinions and would like to apologise beforehand if I am anyhow disrespecting anyone's thoughts and views.
The Rookie showrunners have written the Chenford relationship in such an organic way that it feels real. Hence, my opinion might sound a tad bit philosophical but I feel when we fall for 'the one' it becomes almost difficult to pin point a date or time to say, "Yeah, this is the time when we have fallen for them". It happens gradually and without much of our control/knowledge. I think the same happened with Tim and Lucy. They surely warmed up to each other somewhere during the last half of season 1. However, while going through all the ups & downs of their lives together they fell for each other bit by bit even before they could comprehend it themselves.
I want the Rookie showrunners to give us a scene with Kojo with his Mamma and Dadda. Their fluffy boy deserves to be the first one to know that his parents are together. I want Kojo and Chenford content like yesterday!😭
We know Elijah is coming back and Wopez can't be anywhere near his case. Hence, I am a bit relaxed about Chris' return. I guess he is just coming as an ADA and not to stir drama in Chenfordland. Because if he even thinks of doing something stupid to harm my Chenford babies. I promise to eat him alive!😡

Unpopular opinion -
I am one of those who don't want Tim and Lucy to have their "naked time" just yet. They have recently gotten out of very unhealthy relationships. One (Tim) was in it to avoid his feelings for Lucy and another (Lucy) at first to avoid feeling lonely and later out of guilt.
So jumping in bed with each other without much thought won't be a great step in this budding romance of theirs. As Lucy has rightly mentioned before, "it is the most important relationship of my (her) life". Thus sleeping together before being sure about each other will only lead to more complications. I mean we as an audience know that they are soulmates but I want to see them navigate this uncharted territory of romance with each other and reach the conclusion that they are "it" for each other. Because too much is at stake if this relationship doesn't work for them. This relationship is very different for them since if this doesn't work then they not only will lose a romantic partner but also their best friend.🥺
So baby steps it is. I want them to take their sweet time. Moreover, I am enjoying all these funny complications and an added bonus is Tim's frustrated and helpless expression, it is just priceless!🤌😂
P.S. When they finally do the deed, I want it to be super steamy!😉
At least one couple on The Rookie should follow the traditional route and I want it to be Chenford. I want them to date, get engaged, then have a beautiful wedding, a romantic honeymoon and then finally start a family. I don't want them to jump any step in between. 🥺
The showrunners should take notes from Peraltiago's (Jake and Amy from Brooklyn nine-nine) relationship. They didn't break them up or rush anything. Their relationship grew so organically. Please follow the same for Chenford.🙏

So with all the complication talks going around. I am kinda scared for Chenford. They have been through so much even before they could be a couple. Why more? I mean Bones and Booth got together without much complications why can't the Rookie showrunners take the same path. I am all in for pining and angst but don't break them up. Let the complications be external and not internal. They can face all the complications together as a team.🥺
With all the death tropes talk going on on Twitter. I promise to unleash hell on The Rookie showrunners if they even think doing anything as such to my babies (Lucy Chen and Timothy Bradford). I don't give a damn about any other character. But touch my babies and I will burn you alive.

I can't wait for Tim & Lucy to get married. Timothy Bradford is going to be such a wife guy. He will give Jake Peralta (Brooklyn nine-nine) and Jim Halpert (The Office) a run for their money. No one can argue against this.😌

Please don't kick me out of the Chenford fandom.
But with all the Gelan/Nolgen shipping going on, I would like to put forward my two cents. I have listed a few reasons below on why I like Bailan:
1. I just love the trio that consists of Bailan & Celina. Bailan have almost adopted Celina and their interactions are cute and funny. They make a perfect "found family" just like Chenford and Tamara. (I would say even more so than the latter. Because Lucy is more like an elder sister to Tamara.)
2. Bailan have stopped grossing me out with their overtly immature sexual talks (I am no prude or anything, but I was not a fan of season 4 Bailan's talks).
3. Though Bailey is way out of Nolan's league yet they kinda complete each other. Bailey compensates for Nolan's cluelessness as she is shown as more of a sorted character.
4. Season 5 Bailey is not a superhero, she is more human.
5. Bailey's heartfelt proposal on episode 5X05 left me in tears. Yes, I am a sucker for relationships where the ladies taking the charge. Bailey deserves to be happy and if she found it in Nolan, i want her to have it. Seeing her take that step in spite of her traumatic past is a good message as it gives hope. 😇
6. Finally my ulterior motive is to see our Smitten Kittens (Chenford) dance on Bailan's wedding as a committed couple without any pretence of "owing each other dances".😌
Confession-
Does it make me evil since I didn't feel even a single ounce of sympathy for Chris? Rather I was cheering and hooting when Lucy broke up with him. I was really happy seeing him visibly hurt by her words. Every time I see this character on screen, I want to choose physical violence. He is just a moron in disguise.😡
Every time I watch episodes 5X02 & 5X03, with Chris&Lucy being all lovey dovey. It makes me want to puke (on Chris' face). Those two episodes make me sick!🤢 So whenever I re-watch those two episodes, I come back and watch this break-up scene.😅
However, I would like to mention that I hate Chris the character, but have no hard feelings towards Kanoa. He is a sweetheart and would love to see him in a better role.
Now that Chris is back, I am back being my pessimistic self. I am scared that he will be a threat to Tim and Lucy's budding relationship.
What if the whole stable romance with Tim becomes too overwhelming for Lucy and she gets scared? Finally running back to Chris' arms!😱
I will be so upset with the showrunners if they show something as such.🤬
