At least one couple on The Rookie should follow the traditional route and I want it to be Chenford. I want them to date, get engaged, then have a beautiful wedding, a romantic honeymoon and then finally start a family. I don't want them to jump any step in between. 🥺
The showrunners should take notes from Peraltiago's (Jake and Amy from Brooklyn nine-nine) relationship. They didn't break them up or rush anything. Their relationship grew so organically. Please follow the same for Chenford.🙏
Don't ya just love it that in numerous fics and theories Chenford have finally crossed that line in any number of ways...
Near death experience (either separately or together), torture, hostage situation, trapped in an elevator or other enclosed space, Ashley & Chris actually creating jealously, Tim actually making the decision to break up with Ashley because of his feelings for Lucy, Lucy breaking up with Chris without Tim's guidance, being held at gunpoint, having a certain serial kilker come back and take revenge on Lucy/Tim, being set up by half the precinct, being slaves to the Christmas tradition of having to kiss under a parasitic sprig of berries and leaves... I could go on.
And in the end all it took was an undercover operation.
And then this man putting them back working together again.
Ladies and gentlemen, Wade Grey.
The unsung hero of Chenford.
Assigned them to work together as Rookie & TO.
Suggested very strongly that Tim pick Lucy as his aide.
I'm just saying.
So, the 100th episode of the Rookie will be Bailan's wedding. I have no issues if we get a Chenford dance as a couple and they end up kissing each other while dancing.
And I will literally die if we get Lucy/Tim looking at Bailen and saying "I want this someday and look at the other." Where the other person gives them a knowing smile.
I am definitely writing this!😎
Awwww... Mel and Lisseth are so cute!🥰 They have such pretty hands.😍 I just love them.❣️
Our beautiful Captains!!!!🫡
CHENFORD IN SEASON 6 PROMOS
If Chris interrupts a good Chenford moment ever again, I promise to finish Rosalind's work.🤬😡
Okay, I did some digging, and Mel’s chain in her latest TikTok totally matches the Valentine's Day necklace!👀
It's THE NECKLACE!!!
Plus, the poetic justice? First seen on V-Day, last in 6x06, and making a comeback in 7x06—another Valentine's episode! 😌💖
