when people start taking advantage of james’ giving nature, or asking too much of him; when regulus can see that james is stretching himself thin- that’s when he gets involved
i pity anyone who tries to use james potter without actually caring about him
james is the kind of person to be so unintentionally smooth and flirty with anyone and everyone UNTIL regulus walks by (or anyone he actually has a crush on) and then suddenly he doesn’t remember how to talk and manages to choke on air or fall off his chair and some stupid shit

I have not been able to stop thinking about Jegulus and Pandalily co-parenting Harry and Luna.
Regulus and Pandora knew they were gay but were forced into an arranged marriage by their parents and ran away either a little before or a little after Luna was born.
Jilly are highschool sweethearts who got married right out of school, only to realise after Harry is born that they love each other but aren't in love with each other (if that makes sense).
Both couples break up but stay best friends of course.
Then Pandalily and Jegulus get together.
Luna and Harry grow up as siblings with two mums and two dads.
James is 'Dad', Lily is 'Mum', Regulus is 'Papa' and Pandora is 'Mama'.
They all live in a house together as a family. Happy ending.

regulus black loved swimming from the moment his uncle Alphard taught him when he was three. He loved swimming because it made the word quiet, and it felt like flying. He loved summers in France and would drag sirius to the pond at dawn. Sirius hated swimming, until he became an anamagous, because he thought he would drown. When Regulus got older and Sirius left, he would swim with pandora. He would laugh and be free. Regulus found freedom and safety in swimming. So when he released he was going to drown in that cave he was happy that he would die in freedom he only wished he could he see the brightest star one more time.
