DJ was a sweetheart who loved to cook food and care for animals. He loved his mother too, and his mother loved him as much. When he was pushed to roll down that hill, she was the last he saw when his life flashed before his eyes.
We all know your history with animals, Chris.
You starve them, neglect their needs, even hurting them for the sake of your ratings.
It’s an ultimate regret that you stepped foot on the island again.
Because the animals have an angel to protect them, and he won’t think twice in being a devil to you.
Just like an animal, he stalks his prey.
Very silent and careful.
A biting cold being the only thing that signals his approach.
Your breath crystallises in the air, as he pounces. They all pounce.
Rodents squirming and writhing.
Tails moving within his mottled poisonous flesh, conjoined, blackened and frostbitten.
A literal king of the forest.
Countless of blank eyes turn madly in their sockets, a chittering squeal and they all lock onto you.
All eyes staring into your soul, uncovering your sins.
Ever thought about how sharp animals’ teeth can be?

Backstory
Hey everyone! I just wanted to say that this is true and that I was stupid for not giving this any thought when I was younger. I definitely just remembered those lines because they resonated with me but I shouldn’t have done that and I should’ve been more mindful about credits.
Yeah it definitely wasn’t one chapter— I need to clarify that I saw the Kiyotaka thing first, then I got “inspired” a few weeks later and decided to write stuff about IOTS but I didn’t start posting because I was still writing. It’s then that I saw the other posts and was like “Oh there’s more!” and I read them. Then school came and I almost forgot about it and I wanted to start writing again and I guess I thought “I really like these lines I’ve heard somewhere before” so I added them but I was idiotic enough to not research better because I really did copy stuff now that I’m looking at it.
I would like to deeply apologize for the inconvenience that I have created and i just want you to all know that I’m not doing this simply because I’m caught red-handed but because I actually feel stupid for ignorantly taking lines and ideas that I remembered from another person. I started to forget about IOTS as I grew until I saw this post and I thought back to it.
Also I don’t want to keep the IOTS posts up since I feel ashamed to look at them now but I will be keeping this post up to hold myself accountable for the thing I’ve done and again, I sincerely apologize!!
Uhh I don’t know if this was the right approach or if I apologized correctly but I hope you all don’t hold any hatred towards me— I’ve learned to grow from my mistakes and again, I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart!!
I might be reaching somewhat but was that Island of the Slaughtered thing inspired by the Hope’s Peak rules ghosts made by Mickules? Couldn’t help but notice the similarities between the two such as the ghosts having forms manifested from their forms of death, specific guidelines to follow lest you suffer the consequences, a final rule basically meant as the point of no return(just with the consequences being accidentally letting Junko loose rather than Chris being bait for the survivors to escape)…
OH I’VE SEEN THEIR WORKS BEFORE and I must say I love them SO SO MUCH. I actually only saw the Kiyotaka art at that time and I was like “i really like this”
and then a few months later i get this idea (which is Island of the Slaughtered) and I remembered the Kiyotaka ghost thing and i was like ‘maybe i could write something like that for fun’ and then yeah i was really inspired
Then after i finished the series i found Peko’s art weeks later and i was like “THERE WAS MORE??”

i actually have some questions regarding island of the slaughter as I'm wanting to do a sequel/spinoff fanfic but I want to make sure not to mess up your vision.
Are the spirits trapped to certain parts of the island unable to move about or are they able to move about the island freely (they just can't get off)
Are they hostile and bloodthirsty towards everyone that enters the island now like the man that killed them or was McLean just marked for death because he was the one that caused the whole situation in the first place?
(to kind of go with the above) if say a castaway were to end up on the island would they need to follow the rules to avoid risking the spirts' wrath or was that all essentially and elaborate prank to mess with Chris's head before doing him in in?
Are there any canon Island of the slaughtered ships I need to keep in mind?
Could someone in theory repair the spirits?(unsew Owen give Heather a body al la reverse headless horseman ect.)

Okay you really are invested with IOTS TYSMM
1. The spirits are able to move around freely, but their designated places are like their home (or spawn point idk😭)
2. The campers weren’t familiar with Alejandro nor Sierra, but still, they may come as hostile if they feel threatened— so yeah, pretty much anyone who would enter the island would be at risk of dying in the campers’ hands if they break their boundaries (Chris is their #1 target though)
3. Same answer as #2!
4. There aren’t any ships canon in IOTS but Duncan and Courtney! I’m quite fond of NoCo in the story though, but it can be viewed as a friendship or more.
5. No i like bullying them
6. I know IOTS is “all over the place” since it was just a thing I made for fun, and I understand if people get confused! I just really like it when viewers can interpret some of the open-ended stuff
also I love the theories that you guys made! they’ll never be confirmed though since I gave up on the series now😥
also i’ve seen people say Alejandro and Sierra were the killers even though they first arrived on the island with Chris (you can make AUs of it dw, just don’t claim it’s true😭)
why did the ghost not go after the the serial killer
i don’t think i ever mentioned what happened to the killer so i never said they didn’t

how did it work once chris left? were they in groups and stuck together or anything did they have any of their luggage and did they know when someone died ? did they find their bodies or anything like that. sorry for asking so much and idk if i worded it right . like how was it like for them once chris left and how long apart were the deaths ? SO SORRY FOR ALL THIS
They were in a group and had their luggages but they were limited! Yes, they discovered the bodies of their fellow campers.
They were very panicked at first, and even tried to contact people but there wasn’t any signal on the island.
They made sure to stay together as much as possible unless there’s a need for them to divide into a few groups (search for ways to escape, food search, being chased, etc.)
Duncan and Eva were basically the leaders and tried their best to guide the others, but they were only teenagers after all. It’s obvious that people will die.
The deaths were at least 1-6 days apart from each other.
Who are the two people that are with Chris when he went to the island? Are the souls hostile to them since they’re with Chris?
They are Sierra and Alejandro! Yes, they are quite hostile to them for helping Chris, but the two aren’t really their main targets.
1.Do the souls have friendships/relationships with other souls? For example, Tyler and Lindsey, e.t.c.

2. Can the survivors see the souls roaming the island and if so, are they friendly with them or passive towards them?
1. Yes, they can even interact with each other!
2. The souls aren’t visible to them because the ghosts’ aim is to torment Chris and his helpers. But if we put Chris out of the picture, the survivors are able to see them. They’ll be friendly with them as long as you’ve never done them wrong.
Are the souls able to communicate with each other or talk with one another?
Yes they are able!
So, what does Chris need to do? I took it that following the rules (such as finding Zeke’s body parts, not looking away from Beth, getting food for Owen and Geoff) would like release their souls from the island and let them move onto the afterlife or whatever (although I assume that it would be harder for some people, like he has to let Lindsay throw him off the cliff).
Also, does Chris encounter them one at a time or can he encounter many of them at once?
Chris needs to look for any survivors to bring home so that people would call him a hero instead of a coward. Following the rules won’t actually release the souls of the campers, they’ll be stuck in that island forever. The rules just explain how to survive them.
Some ghosts only haunt certain places, but some ghosts have the ability to roam around too! (Ezekiel, Lindsay, Justin, and Tyler!) He can encounter the roaming ghosts all at once, but it’s not really likely.
since Noah was drowned, and Bridgette loves water + how Noah was murdered due to being left alone after a feud, and Bridgette killing those who can't finish fights they start, do they have any relation?
No, they do not! I just chose Noah to drown because I saw this photo of him:
and for Bridgette, she loves the waters, so I wanted her to die the opposite of what she loved. Plus, she seemed like a peacemaker on the show, so that was the rule I came up for her.

Ngl this Island of the dead au reminds me of fnaf 1 and 2 in a way. I mean Chris as William and the dead contestants as the kids who we killed and put in suits. This is horror game material and I love it.
