Hello my friend! I have a question for you!!! What kinds of noises do bunnies make? I’ve never seen one in person that close (I wish :((( ) so I thought I’d ask an expert!!!

Well, contrary to popular belief, rabbits don't squeak. They generally don't make sounds since they're a prey animal! However, 2 sounds I've seen my bunny make are: some kind of growl when she's really pissed/about to attack and the most common one: stomping her back feet on the ground. Rabbits usually do that when they're stressed as an instinct in order to warn other rabbits of the presence of a predator, though they can do that because of something as simple as being flabbergasted that you dared stop petting them.

But in general, they don't make much sound. Not on their own; sometimes my bunny will decide she wants to change her cardboard box's position so she proceeds make plenty of sound while nibbling it in order to move it. When I'm in the living room and hear some specific weird sounds, I usually look at my bunny's little jail to confirm if it's her :3

Bunnies are very interesting creatures and you usually have to pay the most attention to their body language in order to understand them! ^⁠•⁠ﻌ⁠•⁠^
