Ifrit was always the masculine male fire to Shiva's fem woman ice. Normally he was seen as being slightly more powerful than Shiva but ever since 8, Shiva was one of the only things that could defeat him. I went with idea of making Ifrit "sexy" to balance out the idea that Shiva was attractive. Also "traditionally" (if you can call anything that FF does to traditional) Ifrit has green skin and purple hair. Not sure why i went with the red, it just felt right. I also gave him feline like attributes- i couldn’t give him hooves- it just felt cheesy
