I saw a lot of people wondering why dev just doesn't wish for his dad to love him, and I feel like that's something that he could never get even from a rule-breaking anti-fairy,a genuine love and attention.

I mean, imagine if he did wish for it, it wouldn't make him that happy cuz he knows that's not coming from his dad but his own wish.

He could literally get whatever he wants yet he can't get the only thing he needs.
