[ player characters for my Hilda fan TTRPG ]
when they come across a suspicious fellow, hurling insults and jests out of an apartment window, they decide to investigate.
a crowd has gathered beneath the awning, confused and irritated at the berating comments - and Trevor (we know him, we love him) decides to take action. with the intent of spooking whoever the figure is to stop, he ascends the stairs to the right hallway, seeing the being at the windowsill.
the fellow gets spooked - yes - but not before losing its balance.
with a tumble, it drops from the sill.
but all that hits the ground is a broken, clay plant-pot - the being nowhere to be seen.

will they figure out the mystery of whatever this fellow was? do they end up siding with the thing, or teaching it a valuable lesson?
