The first time Hermes thought he liked someone, was with Persephone. It wasn’t anything serious, anything he understood back then, but he would see her whenever he would go with Apollo to see Iasion and Demeter, and he wouldn’t deny even when he was a kid he thought she was pretty, and felt happy to spend time with her, when she would try to let him help with whatever she was doing(before he got bored and did something else most of the time), when she would make a flower crown for him, or that it felt like his heart was going faster then usual when she called him a cute kid, but it wasn’t like she saw him as anything other then family, especially with him being still a kid(not that he wanted to listen to Apollo about that part), even if he wasn’t against kissing her when he got older(and had tried to, before her mom stopped him, and they both told him he was too young for that).
