My name is Yara Qeshta. I am a Palestinian living in Gaza with my family of 9people in a tent facing the worst war in human history. During the current Gaza war, my house was completely destroyed resulting in the loss of my business and all our belongings. Me and my family have since been displaced in the streets with no shelter, lack of access to food, drinking water, and healthcare necessities. Despite we were camping in areas which were announced as safe, we faced an imminent danger of death by Israeli airstrikes in our camping neighborhoods several times which resulted in serious physical and psychological impacts on us as well as my little grandsons. I am writing this fundraiser hoping to get help with your generous donations to evacuate Gaza immediately to a safer country.
Before the war, we lived a normal life in Gaza, where we had our own business and worked hard with my sons and brothers to survive under the siege of Gaza. This was my graduation year from university, as the eldest daughter in the family. My sister Shahd was in her third year of university, and Roaa was in her first year of university, majoring in artificial intelligence engineering, the major she had been interested in since she was young. As for my brother Salah, it was his final year, which was high school, and he was excited to complete it and join the Faculty of Medicine, his dream that he had dreamed of for years. As for my sister Mena, she was in the ninth grade, my sister jood was in the seventh grade, and my brother Ahmed was in the third.
Before the war, we were the ones who donated to people in need, but now my father has lost his source of income and I have lost my job in special cases, physical therapy, and we need every euro. Please help me so that I can get the target as soon as possible.

Recently there has been a fall in engagement with Palestinian content on tumblr, and for those of us who are helping Palestinians fundraise it is very obvious that this has happened directly after the very public smear campaigns, carried out by some racist users with significant followings.

Siraj's ( @siraj2024 ) family including his parents, and his five siblings and their families were displaced during the recent attacks by IOF on deir al balah
This means there are now 23 family members that Siraj is the sole provider for at the moment.
10 of those members are young children.
Siraj's wife, Halima, is having a terrible flareup of eczema and his children are suffering from skin infections and badly need medical attention.
This whole family has been living in unhygienic conditions in 2 tents, packed like sardines during this heatwave, leading to spread of infections between them as well– all during a time where hygiene products have become unaffordable due to the israeli blockade, and when water has become scarce, and kids cant even receive life saving vaccinations during polio epidemic.
All this while everyday siraj risks his life trying to reach out to us from an internet point amidst violence and shelling from the IOF in what once was a “humanitarian safe zone”, even more desperately than before because–

I'm Lama Al-Hourani, 24 years old, administrative assistant from Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip and my husband Mohammed, 30 years, an accountant for Elites Centers Group in the Gaza Strip.
We married in August 2022, our lives are filled with love, happiness and comfort in a beautiful, quiet, spacious and warm house that has never lacked anything of all the requirements and luxury and this house was like everything we had. Life turned upside down in Khan Yunis ground war.
My husband's family of 12 people and I had to be forcibly displaced to the city of Rafah without anything in a tent that does not accommodate five people in a cold and harsh winter with the difficult possibilities of life without income and all the necessities of life are 20 times the price of more than its normal price.
On the 120th day of the war, our beautiful house was bombed, which I did not live in for more than two years. The family house of six floors has settled on the floor and we only have some beautiful memories and some pictures left.
My husband lost his job because of the occupation blowing up the centers in the Gaza branch and Khanyonis, and we lost the beautiful family car as well, and I stopped working as well because of this grinding war.

if you’ve noticed i’ve been more inactive, here’s part of the reason why:
i’m going to have to turn off my inbox and close it to asks. i really didn’t want to do this but between a random spur of hate (and slut shaming?) and an overwhelming amount of bots asking for money i’m going to have to.
i know many people affected by the war in Gaza have been using inbox asks to spread awareness and look for resources. However it has gotten to the point where i cannot differentiate between real people and bots, and frankly I do not think it’s a serious way to spread awareness.
That being said: I personally condemn the war in Gaza and Palestine right now, it is genocidal and a bleakly dark time in human history. Those who stay silent and turn away are complacent and complacency is shameful. I wish there was more I could do other than publically speak out against it, but I am only one girl.

A family trapped in Gaza appeals for help to survive
I am a mother of two children, the first is a boy named Nasser who is 2 years old, and the other is named Enaam, who was born during the war when she was less than two months old... I see my children growing up in front of me and I don't know how or when. This is not what I wished for. I dreamed of a wonderful life to spend with him... a life not filled with death, fear, destruction and deprivation... I wanted to fill their room with toys and his closet with clothes, and I wanted to buy them children's books, but I couldn't... The war came and the wishes disappeared... My goal became to provide food for him. I can barely afford anything. Everything is expensive and we no longer have the income to buy his needs. Bayd Al-Karam was deprived of many of his basic needs. He was deprived of safety and stability... no fruits or meat.

"We no longer dream… We just want to live another day without bombing, without hunger, without fear."
I am a university student from Gaza. A young man who used to carry his university bag, and today he bears the burden of survival in a city that knows nothing but pain.
My home was destroyed. My land was seized by the occupation. My family lost everything.
Even water, bread, and medicine… became unattainable dreams.
We live days that don't resemble life… There's no enough food, no electricity, no clean water, not even safety. We spend the nights surrounded by the bombardment's lights, and the day searching for a morsel of food to satisfy our hunger or medicine to save a sick person.
Despite all this, I'm still trying to complete my studies. I still believe that knowledge has a louder voice than bombs, and that the pen is mightier than a bullet. But I can't afford university fees, and I don't have money for books or even internet access.
That's why I'm writing to you… Perhaps this appeal will reach the heart of a person who knows the meaning of mercy and feels the weight of the pain we carry.
